The National Surface Transportation Infrastructure Financing Commission: “Raise gas tax, charge drivers by the mile”
According to AP, a special commission created by Congress, called “The National Surface Transportation Infrastructure Financing Commission” is endorsing two ideas suggested Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood to raise federal gasoline tax and charge drivers by the mile to pay for road projects.
