One of the reasons conservatives are trying so hard to embrace anyone but Mitt Romney as the GOP candidate is their ongoing suspicion that Mitt Romney isn’t really a conservative.

And Romney keeps giving them material to justify this suspicion.

Today, Mitt Romney walked into a room filled with conservative activists who are trying to save Ohio Governor Jon Kaisch’s public-sector union reforms from repeal.
