She can utter the words of a memorized speech and she can speak in the ideological platitudes that give Tea Party faithful that tingly feeling that might cause them to commit adultery with themselves.
But what she cannot seem to do is tell the truth. She brazenly lied during the primary (and continues to lie) about her FDU status, suggesting that the University held up her degree over “unpaid student loans”. Nice populist stance, but provably incorrect. She did not get the degree from the University because she did not complete enough credits. She brazenly lied on the campaign trail in claiming that she won two counties in the 2008 Senate election; she did not. When confronted about that lie, she lied about lying, and claimed to have never said she won two counties (one interviewer went so far as to play back for her the tape from the prior week in which she had claimed to have won the two counties. O’Donnell paused, then claimed that he was distorting her words — the same words anyone listening heard verbatim — and claimed that what she really said, despite what the audio contained, was that she had tied in those counties. Which she didnt… she lost.) I could go on. This woman is questionably clinically insane. Forget the issues, policy debates. I could really care less whether she thinks self-pleasuring is ok. That isnt why I dont want her in office. I dont want her in office because she is a dangerous self-obsessed narcissist.
