Obama to Limit Potential Uses of Nuclear Weapons
The Obama administration is locking up the country’s nuclear weapons for all but the most “extreme circumstances,” pledging in a new policy not to develop new nuclear weapons and to limit the use of the ones in storage — even for self defense.
The new strategy stops short of declaring the United States will never be the first to launch a nuclear attack. But officials said the goal is to move toward a policy where the “sole purpose” of nuclear weapons is to deter or respond to a nuclear attack.
And Obama, in an interview with The New York Times, said his administration is committing not to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states that are following international treaty agreements, even if they attack with biological or chemical weapons.

why is it that Progressives, Uber-Liberals, left wing sons and daughters of hippies, anarchists, and other like minded social malcontents are always telling us how they are going to “fight for us in Washington,” but they despise the military, our nuclear / military arsenals, and they refuse to do anything but kow-tow to and appease the most nefarious and devious leaders in the world ( …while simultaneously giving the cold shoulder to our “supposed” allies in the western and eastern world ). I suppose if Iran were to give biological weaponry to Hamas, and Hamas were to kill thousands in, let’s say, NYC, Barry might get mad enough to initiate talks with Hamas to “find out WHY they did what they did…instead of turning Iran into a sheet of glass across the desert with a nice little neutron bomb. And, is it true that instead of “smart” bombs, Obama wants to hasten development of enhanced “stink” bombs for use in the middle-east?
