Phil Hare in Full Damage Control Mode after Saying He “Doesn’t Worry About the Constitution” (Too late now)
Here is video of Illinois Democrat Rep. Phil Hare saying the U.S. Constitution “is near and dear to me,” just one day after having been caught on video saying he “doesn’t worry about the Constitution,” when asked where in the Constitution the Congress had the authority to pass ObamaCare.
Hare complained about the “gotcha journalism” of today, and said he had been “taken out of context.”
Watch the video below (Via SharpElbows.net) of what Hare said, and it does not sound like he was taken out of context. It sounds like he is clearly saying he just wanted to pass ObamaCare to provide Government help to 32 million people and he really didn’t care whether there was Constitutional authority to do it or not! He’s now in full damage-control mode.
