I get it. First you are going to revoke taxes, and next you are going to revoke death. Sounds great.
[hear this little statistic the other day: if the bush tax cuts were permanent, which they were NOT, Obama would have raised taxes by 3 billion (could have been trillion, i’m not sure) - however, since the Republicans never made the tax cuts permanent, Obama has actually lowered taxes by 1.5 billion (again could be trillion).]
I do not understand what happened to self accountability. I guess I’m just a proud conservative. I look at it this way. It is inevitable that my taxes will go up. But at least I’ll still be making over six figures a year and many of the handout grabbing freeloaders will still be on welfare.
doesnt Susan Roesgen know where the 50 billion paid to the state of Lincoln comes from the taxpayers. Oh yes we get 13 excuse me 8 dollars a week but then we have to pay it back in the form of more income taxes at the end of the year. Roesgen does not know what the hell she is talking about that is why it is the commie news network I did not see or hear anyone threaten the commie reporter or use languauge that it was a family show. Really this coming from the city of chicago news reporter after all that has happened there.

Had you, or any of your ‘open-minded’ ilk taken the time to go and see for yourself what went on at these very orderly ‘Tea Parties’, you would not be making such stupid statements today. I attended the Columbus Tea Party, and in attendance were nearly 10,000 of America’s good citizenry. Regular folk who WORK, PAY TAXES, and are LOYAL to God, family, and country.
Good people stood for over 2 hours in the cold rainy air to voice their disgust… not with taxes per se, but with the massive inane bailout of the super rich of Wall Street, the mortgage & banking industry, and the unproductive and mismanaged Detroit auto industry.
We know all about taxes. We understand the need for public services. We voluntarily pay taxes… even when they are oppressive and unfair, because we are law abiding Americans. Nobody there wanted an end to taxes… what we want is the complete abolition of the IRS, and the institution of the Fair Tax. You see, we want the rich to pay their fair share. When they do that we will gladly pay our fair share as well.
If you don’t know what the Fair Tax Plan is, then do your damn homework, and find out. Spending each day, as you do, running your mouth on Democrat talking points, only serves to ensconce you deeper into the mire Obama is dragging us into. You seem content to sit at your computer eating the schit they feed you, and continue to bash Bush… as though that is going to solve any of today’s problems.
Not making the Bush tax cuts permanent was NOT Bush’s doing, and you know it! YOUR Democrats, led by Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Kennedy, Clinton, Schumer, Frank, and many more of that twisted majority party kept the Bush tax cuts from ever becoming permanent. Your liberal Democrats are the guilty party… Democrats are the enemies of the tax paying working class of Americans.
The big difference between Conservatives and Liberals is glaring… Nearly ALL Conservatives WORK, while an extremely large number of Liberals DO NOT WORK. We Conservatives are sick and tired of supporting you lazy ass Liberal bums.

Joe, although the numbers may sound cut and dry, don’t ignore the amount of hidden fees that the government is now imposing. Taxes such as the cigarette tax results in increased taxes for some while fines in things like carbon caps, are essentially a large universal tax increase for all Americans because the companies inevitably pass the cost along to the consumer.
I’ve been told before that I should be a libertarian because I belive in the Fair Tax. Remove all the loopholes that allow a few to get out of paying their fair share.
I’m not against people being rich, just being rich at our expense.

You can report what you want to report.
If you are CNN, you try to create the news you want reported. If you are an honest reporter you simply report what you witness. That is not what I saw on CNN’s own clip.
I attended the Columbus Tea Party, and I saw clean, honest, good people. No one was rude, or in your face. Conversely, I’ve witnessed Obama types at their rallies, and they were always rude, and in peoples faces. They also spewed epithets that had no substance, or truth to them. They were wild animals.
The Tea Party people are the real energy of America. Most hated having to have to go public with their frustration. We don’t have time to spend on politics… we work every day. The Obama nuts have nothing but time to do their ACORN thing… they don’t work for a paycheck… money is given to their lazy asses in exchange for a Democrat vote.
A word of warning to Obama… if WE give up… your game is over, because WE are the engine that runs this country. WE are the producers, WE the tax payers, and WE are the defenders of this nation. Obama’s people (white and black)are the leeches and ne’er do wells. Conservatives are the golden goose, so go ahead and eat us… and choke on our bones. Either way you will lose, because you cannot survive without a handout… but WE CAN!
