Bush’s Surge, Obama Flush:US troops to leave Iraq by August 2010

resident Barack Obama plans to announce that most U.S. forces will be out of Iraq in less than 19 months, the Associated Press said today, citing adminstration officials not authorized to speak publicly.Obama’s plan would leave an interim force of 30,000 to 50,000 soldiers to advise and train Iraqi security forces, from 142,000 now, the AP reported. The remaining troops would be out by 2011, said the AP.
