Alan Keyes on Barack Obama: “He’s a radical communist…He’s going to destroy this country”

Former presidential candidate visits Hastings

[Editor’s note: the reporter got the facts wrong: Obviously, Alan Keyes is no longer a Republican. He’s a part of America’s Independent Party.]

(2/19/2009) By Curt Casper - He is a Republican who has ran for President 3 times - the latest just this past year. Thursday night Alan Keyes was a featured speaker at a fundraiser for the Triple A Crisis Pregnancy Center.

The fundraiser is an annual event.

It supports the Pregnancy center which is a Christian organization that counsels woman before and after giving birth.

Keyes said he is putting politics aside Thursday night and here to support his pro–life belief.

“What is involved is the heart and conscious of a woman. What is involved is the life of a child. And what is involved above all is the simple preside that of all our liberty and dignity that we are created equal and endowed by God, not by human choice with our inalienable rights,” said Keyes.

Keyes also has some very strong opinions about President Obama.
He ran against Obama for U.S Senate in Illinois back in 2004.
Keyes doubts Obama is a U.S citizen and said he will ruin the country.

Alan Keyes is a very sad individual. He really needs psychiatric care. I am really sadden to hear these kinds of things from a black man towards another black man. I am embarassed for our race. Anyone who will not acknowledge the President out of respect for the office he holds is missing it. He won! You should have come up with the answers while you sat by watching Bush and his friends detroy this country bringing it to it’s knees. Get somewhere and pray for our President and the recovery of this country. Otherwise, shut the hell up or leave.

Who is the sad individual. It was the democrats who refused to pass a a bill from President Bush in 2003 that would have kept a tighter rein on Freddie Mac and Fannie may. But because those companies involved many democrats it was not supported. Why should you be embarassed for your race when you can now be embarassed for the cause of the financial downfall of this country. Respect for an office, get real the office or the fact that the President is black and loves you is not going to save you or this country. Soon you will face reality and when you go and knock on the door of the White House see if they let you in. There will be food on their table but none in the belly of your children.

keyes is nothing more than the sum of his employment that of shoeshine boy for limbaugh he even balances an ashtray on his head so rush can thick his cigar ashes into it will be serviced by keyes, on his knees as usual

Mellie,

You are a bitter black person, and you are wrong. Alan Keyes SHOULD have been the first black president. He would serve ALL Americans well… and he is 100% African American, not a Halfrican American like that loser Barack Hussein Obama.
