Sign of things to come : PUMA gets tires slashed, window smashed for McCain bumper stickers

Tonight, another Obama supporter expressed their spirit of non-divisiveness and the transformational essense of the ONE by smashing my rear car window and slashing 3 of my tires. My crime: I had NOBAMA and Clintons 4 McCain on my backwindow. I am not suprised or angry. I chose to have that on my car because I want people to know that I am not afraid nor will I be intimidated for not falling in line with the ONE. I would rather take a stand now, while I am able, than to live in an Obama presidency where this type of behavior would probably be common,acceptable, and encouraged. This is the United States and people fight, have fought, and have died so that I have the freedom to peacefully and respectfully express my opinion. I will not live in a world where if a person disagrees with the ONE, then the person will be punished.
Of course, I had to get a cop that was an Obama supporter. I enjoyed the lecture about respecting other people’s opinions and not forcing my beliefs on others. My opinion is that this is America and this country has a political history of expressing political opinion. I have not done anything unprecedented nor was my opinion convenyed in a demeaning fashion.
One lesson learned is that procrastination bites me in the butt again. I had planned to wash my car on Saturday and not have anything political on the car. Alas, I waited.
Question: How do I get my 3 slashed tires fixed when I only have 1 spare tire?

The encounter with the Obama supporting policeman reminds of the Obama Truth Squad from Missouri. The Obama people recruited local sheriffs and prosecutors to stop anyone who said anything negative about Obama and to re-educate them as to what the “real truth” was. That happened about a month ago and was not given much media coverage. No MSM coverage.

The people preaching tolerance are not the people slashing tires. The people preaching tolerance have long hair and beads, and the people slashing tires have mohawks and patches sewn on their clothes. Trust me, I’ve been both, in my short lifetime.
I find this frightening and sad, this so called “tolerant party” is not tolerant at all, this is still America “for the time being” and we can still practice our right to free speech, I applaud your actions and your bravery in the face of this nightmare called teh Obama/Biden Campaign, I think Joe Biden is drinking because he can’t believe he has been pulled into this campaign that is so far to the left, I think he is being used as a pawn, God help us, “Pray the vote” for Nov 4, 2008, Go McCain/Palin
Yes, I just LOVE IT, where these so-called liberals preach to us about tolerance–as they’re ranting, name-calling, and getting violent to show what? How tolerant THEY are?
I say again as you’ve said, the thuggery is part of their character, and if Obama is elected (and maybe if he’s not), we will see more of this; it will become “normal”.
And I will say again, there are parallels here with the rise of the Nazis, and I find that pretty scary.
