Democrat: Obama’s grandma confirms Kenyan birth
The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator’s paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.
The issue of Obama’s
birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his “Certification of Live Birth” from Hawaii.
But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.
“This has been a real sham he’s pulled off for the last 20 months,” Berg told Savage. “I’ll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States.”

I actually see this as a last ditch effort by Republican politicians to oust the possible Democratic win. The Republicans have lost all hope and are now resorting to digging up graves. I think that if he is proven to be truthful and indeed a natural-born citizen of the USA, everyone who backed the idea that he wasn’t one goes down as a slanderous a**hole, pardon my french. And no, that was not a comment about the French, leave them out of this.
Oh and Ted, what? Are you saying that an American voter is allowed to raise a question so Obama shouldn’t be allowed to defend himself? Does that really sound American to you? Madge, I have nothing to say to you. You took one article, interpreted it as fact, and spat it out as, “Oh no, everything our country has been founded on has gone to ruin!!!! We are all gonna die!!!” Entirely not the case. For some time now, there has been a movement to get that law looked at, so friggin’ Arnold Schwarzenegger Could become our president. I wholly do not believe in the idea of repealing that law, but I also don’t believe our founding fathers would really be that upset if the next president straightens out our country, and the votes will decide who that is. And as a side note, do as you want to do was kinda why we founded this country, so we could run it, not the bureacracy. Sorry.
The fact that Obama will not produce his birth certificate is proof that he is not a citizen. This is a crime. I can’t wait until this is proven to be true. The media has helped Obama cover this up and they should also be held accountable.
If we cannot question someone’s birth place when there is a question them we have lost our Constitutional rights and this election is a waste and what if he is not a Citizen of the USA and please don’t use your french when you can delete it. Sorry

It is time for a second American civil war. Time to revive the Confederate States as the Federation of States, a Judeo-Christian conservative nation. The only way arouund obama is for there to be enough people to launch an insurrection that cannot be stopped. That will eventually result in the splitting of the US into two nations, one left wing, one centrist and conservative. I look forward to the day when I can live in an American nation that respects the constitution. The answer is Federation of States, the former Confederacy.

Why is the obvious question the one that never gets answered? I can get my Birth Cert for 25$ and ~ 3 hrs of personal time. Why can’t the President Elect present this document; it should be a source of pride!
I love that this was linked from another site as “proof” that Obama was born in Kenya. Whatever became of that recording…..? (And he did present his birth certificate. Nutjobs like you promptly denounced it as fake and called the SoS of Hawaii a liar. You guys are great Americans.)
I love the Democratic comments on this string. I guess constitutional requirments mean nothing. If McCain was not a natural citizen, I would have wanted him disqualified, too. At the end of the day, all we have is the constitution. If Barack is not a natural citizen, we have just ignored one of the most sacred qualifiers for the presidency. The purpose of that requirement was to keep someone who might have affinity for a foreign government from leading this nation as chief executive.
No one has called for Obama’s resignation. They have simply asked for evidence in light of the serious proof against his citizenship.
When did this call take place, when did he visit her, and when did she die? I’m sure its all a coincidence.
Handled right, the Fed District Court throwing out Berg for lack of standing can present a political check-mate “win” on appeal for the anti-Obama side (if not in law, in the Court of Public Opinion). Here’s how: SIMPLY SPREAD AROUND OBAMA’S APPELLATE BRIEF HAVING TO ARGUE AGAINST AN AMERICAN VOTER’S RIGHT TO RAISE THE QUESTION UNDER THE CONSTITUTION.
