What a load of crap. 99% of the defected Hillary supporters are registered Republicans or are just plain lying. This type of “I’m one of you” argument is a basic fallacy.
As a white American, I am shocked by the racism that is surfacing and the un-American rabble rousing by McCain-Palin. It is really shameful how prejudiced we really are and I am shocked at how Americans no longer want our country run by the best and the brightest. Obama is a brilliant, moral uniter who has the potential to be one of our best Presidents. Give hope and peace a chance.
This is something that makes me laugh about some Obama supporters.
Hillary Clinton talked, in the primaries, about how Barack Obama wasn’t qualified to be President.
When Obama received the nomination, Clinton supporters STILL thought Obama wasn’t qualified to be President - and switched sides. Obama supporters criticized them for this. But it makes perfectly good sense.
Their candidate points out that her opponent isn’t qualified. He’s not anymore qualified today than he was when he beat Hillary for the nomination - why would you expect them to feel differently?
*YAWN*
Check out any reputable pollster - say FiveThirtyEight - and you’ll see that in fact, plenty of ex-Hillary supporters are backing Obama.
And 14,000? - I thought there were supposed to be 18 million! LOL
Another LAME astroturf hit from RCP’s GOP spamster-in-chief sembi!
14,000 hillary supporter….wow..that should even out against the 150 million dollars raised… this race is over..due not only to Obama’s superior fund raiser and marketing..but due to the fact that the republican campaign gurus just flat out let this one get away..starting with the Palin idea…
Example my sister in law, the text book republican woman,
fully admits Palin is not only unqualified, but basically “window dressing” For the first time in 20 years..she is voting Democratic.
Someone who supported Clinton and then switched to McCain when Barack Obama got the nomination is just another superficial demo-cunt, and you can have them - we can win the election without them.
How could you believe in the things that Hillary proposed, and then suddenly decide to back the things that McCain proposed?
I am too a Hillary supporter for McCain, but, I do also have issues with his allegiances with Ayers, Rev Wrong, Father Pfluger and of course, of course, Mansour…these speak to his character, and i find it not only lacking, but terrifying.
Whaere are those fyler’s she was talking about? I ahave my own I made, but would like to see her’s.
I think that many more Hillary Clinton supporters will be voting for John McCain that the media has let on.
I think there are a lot of hard feelings after the primary season in which the Obama campaign stuffed ballot boxes in at least two caucases, perhaps costing Hillary the nomination.
So, do you vote for someone (Obama) who has little experience, who clearly cannot be trusted (Rev. Wright, ties to Ayers, ties to PLO, ties to Acorn, etc. etc.), or do you vote for someone (McCain) with extensive experience, who you don’t agree with on everything, but at least he’s respected your candidate and has consistently worked across party lines?
The choice is pretty simple for HC supporters.

With the large number of democrats that are supporting McCain this election, but the majority of the Republican base, McCain should win this in a landslide. It makes no sense that Obama has completely fractured the democratic party, caused about 25% of us to jump the fence to the Republican side, and he’s winning by a “lanslide” according to the polls. With all the democrats he’s alienated, McCain ought to have this in a bag. I don’t think the election, underneath it all, is all that close. I think the media wants to keep us from voting by convincing us that the race is essentially decided and Obama’s won it, so there’s no point in showing up to vote for McCain.
