CLEVELAND - Two Ohio voters, including Domino’s pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they’d already signed up.
Barkley estimated he’d registered to vote “10 to 15″ times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others.
Claims such as his have sparked election officials to probe ACORN.
“I kept getting approached by folks who asked me to register,” Barkley said. “They’d ask me if I was registered. I’d say yes, and they’d ask me to do it [register] again.
“Some of them were getting paid to collect names. That was their sob story, and I bought it,” he said.
Barkley is one of at least three people who have been subpoenaed by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections as part of a wider inquiry into possible voter fraud by ACORN. The group seeks to register low-income voters, who skew overwhelmingly Democratic.
“You can tell them you’re registered as many times as you want - they do not care,” said Lateala Goins, 21, who was subpoenaed.
“They will follow you to the buses, they will follow you home, it does not matter,” she told The Post.
She added that she never put down an address on any of the registration forms, just her name.
A third subpoenaed voter, Freddie Johnson, 19, filled out registration cards 72 times over 18 months, officials said.
“It feeds the public perception that there could be [fraud], and that makes the pillars fall down,” said local Board of Elections President Jeff Hastings.
Registering under a fake name is illegal. But officials usually catch multiple registrations and toss them.

Democrats are but rebels in search of a reason to strike out at adult authority figures. They seek justification for their out of control, undisciplined and childish behavior.. Their driving force?… Unbridled deep-seated internal hatred.
Encouraged by their false god, Barrack Hussein Obama, they spew vitriolic epithets at those who could actually help them out of their chosen misery, if they were more mature, intelligent and open-minded. They are obviously too stupid to see they are being ‘played like a fiddle’ by Democratic warlords, or perhaps, too imbalanced to care. They are fools happy to be fooled, because BHO has given them carte blanche to openly rage… basically frothing at nothing.
It is amazing how ignorant and seriously uninformed are 90% of Democrats. The remaining so-called ‘informed’ 10% use the masses to advance their secret agenda. The Democrat agenda, and the tactics they employ have strikingly similar overtones of Bolschevik Russia 90 years ago. The ignorant masses used as pawns by their leaders to wrest ultimate power and cede that power to them, only to have that power turned against the masses once that power has been steadfastly secured.
It took over 60 years to unseat the tyrannical rule in communist Russia, and reverse the effects of oppression over it’s own people. Remnants of that tyranny yet exist in ‘modern’ Russia. Entrenched power is difficult to root out once firmly embedded.
Thought-Control is the bulwark of Socialist power mongering, which by necessity must:

Control Citizen Weaponry… (???)
That last item is going to prove a really big obstacle for Barrack Hussein Obama’s and his co-conspiring ‘Posse’ of Democrats. Being out of Africa, Indonesia, and Chicago’s South side he certainly must recognize that fact. It seems the framers of our Constitution were wise indeed.
The founding fathers knew tyranny first-hand, and they understood the importance of Godliness of government. They knew that power can be an uplifting, as well as a corrupting force of humankind. A force to be handled with due diligence, lest it become an enemy of personal freedom. The right to bear arms was their gift to coming generations, and today remains the last check-and-balance between government and free citizenry.
I find it hard to imagine anyone at his point in time being undecided about for whom to vote.
However, to those among us who are still conflicted on this issue, I beseech you to study the candidates carefully, and with an open mind. Study their personal histories, past friendships and personal associations, and look at their records of service and leadership. Then, breath deeply, clear your minds of emotional distraction, and do what you truly feel is best for our nation as a whole, rather than voting for the candidate you hope to gain from personally.
Voting is a right and a civic duty, but it is certainly not a legal obligation. If on November 4, 2008 you are still truly undecided… do yourself and your nation a favor by not voting at all. If you are part of this voter fraud conspiracy… ask yourself, “Why?”
I’m impressed by the previous eloquent naratives. Thank you for your thoughtful words. They need to be read by all, especially those who need persuading. Hey, maybe the two of you should run for president next time!
ACORN and Domestic Terrorism
This morning I was watching news coverage of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and the thousands upon thousands of instances of obvious voter fraud committed by its members across dozens of states; I was absolutely dumbfounded by the scope of it all. As I was contemplating the ramifications of their actions the singular thought occurred to me that ACORN should IMMEDIATELY be classified a Domestic Terrorist Organization and the entire weight of the US Department of Justice should be brought to bear upon them.
Why have I come to this very obvious conclusion?
Domestic terrorism can be defined as “activities against persons, organizations or property of any nature committed by an individual or individuals acting on behalf of any domestic person or domestic interest that involves, or the preparation for, the commission or threat of a dangerous act when it appears that the intent is to intimidate or coerce a government, or further political, ideological, religious, social or economic objectives or to express (or express opposition to) a philosophy or ideology.
Quite simply, if the allegations hold true (and make no mistake about it, I believe that they will) then we have identified an organization that is attempting to SUBVERT OUR GOVERNMENT and the very foundation of Democracy through massive voter fraud on a scale never before imagined!
What could be more dangerous than that?
If ACORN was not caught before the election, then 11/04 would have ranked right up there with 9/11 as one of the most tragic days in our nation’s history: the day we lost confidence in the American election system.
Even though the FBI is just now beginning to raid ACORN offices, the NAACP (National Association of the Advancement of Colored People) and the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) are already turning this into a race issue; somehow sedition through massive voter fraud is really just “Whitey” attempting to keep power by suppressing the vote of the disenfranchised minority.
Which leads me to my next point: Terrorists don’t care if they get caught. If their covert actions are brought to light, then they perish as Martyrs; if they are not caught, then they are free to continue their subversive efforts.
The NAACP and ACLU are trying to make NON-EXISTENT voters (these are fictitious people made up by ACORN employees) into Martyrs.
How f’n crazy is that????
Should we promise these imaginary voters 72 virginal houses funded by high-risk Fannie Mae mortgages in their afterlife, too? (After all, wasn’t it also ACORN who supported the unfettered lending practices to the “disenfranchised” that has also led to the current financial crises at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?)
What I find terrifying is that we have no idea just how MASSIVE this fraud against the American people is going to be and how much the leadership of ACORN really knows and to whom they are connected within the Democratic Party. It is a documented fact that ACORN is one of Barak Obama’s biggest campaign supporters and that Obama has had a great deal of intimate involvement in ACORN’s Chicago operations. Doesn’t Barak Hussein Obama refer back to his days as a Community Organizer when pressed on his executive leadership experience?
The FBI’s investigation into ACORN promises to become a historic investigation with far-reaching implications. It must be conducted thoroughly and with transparency to restore my faith in the election process. However, I am afraid that it may be too late to save this year’s Presidential Election and that these domestic terrorists may be able to claim victory against you and me because the damage cannot be reversed in time.
The United States is the leader of the free world, the bastion of Democracy and oftentimes the Sheriff of Free Elections. If other emerging Democracies look to us and come to the conclusion that the entire Democratic election process can be manipulated here, then how can anyone expect to hold fraud-free elections elsewhere?
This then germinates the seed of suspicion; this is where the roots of distrust in the Democratic process take hold and this is where our Republic begins its irreparable slide toward Socialism.
And it started with an ACORN; how ironic!
This is the advancement of ACORN’s ideological, religious, social and economic objectives via subversive means.
This is domestic terrorism.
