Anti-Iran Rally Turns Into Anti-Obama Rally
Jewish Groups Furious That Protest Against Ahmadinejad Was, At Times, A Pro-Palin, Bash-The-Dems Affair
NEW YORK (CBS) ― Politics and diplomacy were not a good mix at Monday’s protest rally against Iran at the United Nations. See the video here
Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin didn’t participate in the “Stop Iran Now” rally and there were a lot of hard feelings about it.
It was a simple sign that read “We Want Sarah. Shame On The Rally Organizer.”
Howard Webber from Brooklyn held it.
“As important an event as this is, you needed a unity of Democrats and Republicans to show Ahmadinejad that we’re not going to accept a nuclear Iran.”
Buddy Macy of Little Fells, N.J., felt much the same way.
“I’m so disappointed, upset,” Macy said. “She would have brought 10,000-20,000 more supporters of Israel. People who were curious were stopped because of partisan action.”
The brouhaha started after Clinton pulled out after she learned Palin was invited. Three organizations supporting the rally threatened to pull out unless Palin was disinvited. She was but organizers didn’t stop there.

Sadly Hillary might be the cause because she did not want to share the stage with Palin. I think it is unfortunate that the rally deteriorated but I think it is understandable (not justified). The Israeli newspaper Haaretz thought Palin’s speech so important, they reprinted half-way around the world what she could not say publicly in her own country because Clinton got her “disinvited.” You can read it here: http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1023408.html.

MOST OF THE PEOPLE WERE AMERICAN JEWS WHOSE RELIGION IS DEMOCRAT.
IT’S REALLY PRO-DEMOCRATIC.
Hillary Clinton showed a classless political stunt, in my opinion.
If it had nothing to do with politics, then she should’ve held her tongue and shared the stage with Palin.. like most grown women would have.
The political guru is exactly right. The demonstration against nukes is bigger than party lines. Oh Hilly please don’t be part of the smear and snub campain that your fellow Democrats are engaged in. It is so beneath you, you are so much better than those slime balls.
