William Charles “Bill” Ayers (born 1944) is an American Distinguished Professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is most well known for his violent radical activism in the 1960s and 1970s, the current controversy regarding his relationship with Democrat Presidential 2008 candidate Barrack Obama, and his current work in school reform and educational curriculum and instruction. In 1969 he co-founded the militant radical left organization Weatherman active during the 1960s and 1970s and was one of its top leaders.
Bill Ayers is a stunner. Mr. Ayers bombed a police station and the Pentagon, and recently said he wished he had done more. He is an unrepentant terrorist, but is popular among the ultra-left in Chicago. When Mr. Obama was asked about Mr. Ayers, he implied that he barely knew him.

Get Real Obama launched his political campaign from the living room of Bill Ayers. Now he wants to have it both ways. If Obama totally detested this mans heinous acts in the 60’s why in 1995 did he go to his house and sit down to tea and crumpets with him? They are friends and the relationship is more likey cozy. sitting on charity boards together. Live in the same neighborhood. Come on now there were most likely many meetings. I don’t blame Obama for wanting to distance himself form Ayers its a political liability but to say you spoke out and detested this mans actions and to also admit you have a relationship with him is just the Height of Hypocrisy.
Their isn’t enough evidence here to prove Obama is friends with the guy. But we have video of McCain pandering to the Ultra Right, and Palin who was part of a organization that wants to leave from the Union. If your gonna report on the negative of Obama don’t use circumstantial evidence.
