McCain Camp ‘Rescues’ Flags From Obama Rally
Democrats are not caring for their Stars and Stripes. At least that’s the message out of John McCain’s campaign.
McCain supporters, claiming they rescued 12,000 miniature American flags from the site of Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech last Thursday, redistributed the orphan flags to audience members ahead of a McCain rally in Colorado Springs Saturday.
The move was an overt swipe at Obama from a campaign whose motto has been “country first.” Democratic convention organizers claimed the flags were snatched from the site of Obama’s historic address so as to carry out a “cheap political stunt.”
But McCain supporters said the flags were discovered by a vendor at Denver’s Invesco Field after the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention. The vendor supposedly found trash bags full of flags in and nearby dumpsters, and turned them over to the McCain campaign.
Boy Scouts were sorting 84 bags of flags in Colorado Saturday morning, before a McCain supporter had veterans distribute them to the audience.
“We want to find good homes for these flags,” radio host Dan Caplis said at the rally, adding that whatever flags remained would be placed at memorials throughout Colorado.
Audience members, who booed when Caplis announced that the flags were left in Denver, waved the flags and chanted “U.S.A” ahead of McCain’s arrival at the rally with his running mate Sarah Palin.
Damon Jones, spokesman for the Democratic National Convention Committee, released a statement saying McCain should applaud the fact that thousands of American flags were “proudly waved” at their convention.

Will this should be enough if this is completely true! He has now shown his colors and his party respondiblities for these flags. Not only that, but what about the folks that had these flags in there procession. This also shows a trend here that the love of country is not what they wanted to stress at all.It was nothing but about Obamoooooo!
first oslobba refused to wear the flag pin on his suit,then he refused to place his hand over his heart for the national anthem, next he removed the flag from his plane, finally he has trashed our countries flag litterally.

nor does his wife who is just recently “proud of her country for the first time”
this democratistani candidate is a clear and present danger.
he must be disqulified from the race by these traitorous events that have taken place.

When will the people for Obama wake up? How obvious can it be? Obama wants a change all right. A change from everything that has made us what we are-United not Divided as it will be if he takes over.
So here’s the next question…did anyone follow around after the RNC to see what happened to the flags after they were rescued and redistributed to McCain supporters? Were there any flags in the trash there?
Is this really a suprise? These people are only proud of their country when it’s convienient and they might win an election. Regardless of politics, race etc…, what scares me the most, is that these people love a politician more than thier country, and they love him so much. Politicians should be questioned relentlessly, regardless of republican or conservative affiliation. I am a conservative. I’m not a “moderate,” or “independant.” But I still remain weary over any politician. This is really scarey! We have a corrupt bunch of politicians bashing and smearing Corporations and Rush Limbaugh, when it is they, the government who steals our money and takes away our freedoms.
No flag should ever be left in the garbage. That is what the democrats think of America!!! At least they were rescued and then given to new homes that will appreciate them. No Obama!!!! He does not love this country, he is not good enough to even put his hand on his heart during the National Anthem. Nor wear the flag pin of the American Flag which many thousands have given their lives for. I can’t remember if he even says the Pledge of Allegence with the words Under God in it.
