Oprah Winfrey may have introduced Democrat Barack Obama to the women of America — but the talkshow queen is not rushing to embrace the first woman on a Republican presidential ticket!
Oprah’s staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” an insider explains. “Oprah’s website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”
One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!
It is not clear if Oprah has softened her position after watching Palin’s historic convention speech.
Last year, Winfrey blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.
Oprah and executive producer Sheri Salata, who has contributed thousands of dollars to Obama’s campaign, refused requests for comment.

I thought Oprah did her show for her fans, her people. Now she says it is “my” show and I will only use it to support those people “I” think should be in office.
Good, I dont want Palin to DEGRADE herself by being on Oprah. Oprah doesnt understand that even though the Obama supporters are loud and annoying and it seems like this country supports Obama 100%, almost half of this country does not like him at all and most of his supporters do not really like him that much either! They just want a democrat instead of a republican in office.
This will end up hurting Oprah dramatically! We just need to make sure that not only does she have a problem having a white politician on her show, she also has a problem with a female politician. Some say that “Sarah Palin sets women back 100 years”, but it is quite obvious that Oprah is setting women and racial eqaulity back 150 years!

Oprah is an ugly woman with a really big head. She looks just like that yuck Augra character from “The Dark Crystal” movie but with two eyes. What an ugly, nasty meat-head of socialist except smart people realized that years ago.
Use to a lot of my lady friends would get together daily at each other’s house to talk and WATCH the Oparah Show; that is, until Oparah came out in public support of Obama. Now, we hardly ever turn on the TV to watch Oparah. If YOU, Oparah, do NOT put Sarah Palin on your show very soon, you have lost not only us as 6 of your viewers, but also thousands and thousands of other men and women in America. You just wait and see if you wish, but you will be sorry if you don’t put Gov. Sarah Palin on your show very soon.
I have taken the Oprah Show off my viewing schedule. I feel that she is prejudice and I am sincerely dissapointed at her judgement and her character as of late.

I think Palin should be too busy to come on to the show after the election. Besides, Oprah will be in a diabetic comma if McCain/Palin wins so there will be no show for awhile. Therefore, it is a moot point.

I, too, am disappointed in Oprah! Not understanding the need to be neutral on issues when it comes to educating the public via her show. I am removing her from my viewing schedule as well…she’s obviously gotten too opinionated and she’s using her clout, as a celebrity to elect Obama as our next president…I am sure she wouldn’t be able to contain herself if she did have Governer Palin on her show!!! I never got much into Oprah, but I did respect her, once upon a time long ago. Until the day she backed Obama, which I thought was so wrong. She was too influential to do something like that. People have problems today and one is following their idols. THey can’t think for themselves. Oprah, you should have Sarah on to be fair, but you won’t because you know she has Obama beat hands down. Oprah, it is time to retire, your true colors are showing now and you are not a fair person but you have many prejudices showing. Get rid of them!!!

At least Oprah has something that’s small…her mind! Will she is a christian first and formost, She will not show up because of the color contain to others in the TV world!
A very good thing to do is instead of ever watching Oprah, make one call a week to one of her SPONSORS such as say “Dove” or any of her “favorite things” people and tell them you are never going to buy another thing until they stop supporting her show with advertising. It’s the ads that make the money for these shows. If nobody watches, and people stop buying those products her sponsors put pressure on her. Maybe the network decides she’s had her damned day in the sun and it’s time for “O” to go.
I have done that ever since she stabbed women in the back by supporting and UNqualified black man over a more experienced woman with the SAME policies after all. Women made her all that money and if she can’t go for a more qualified woman who has the exact same policies then she’s an ingrate. Besides, she’s entirely OUT OF TOUCH with people anymore. Sarah Palin and John McCain should take note of this and when they take the White House in November politely decline her post election request for an interview.
