NYTimes:Party Officer Admits Error on Palin in Alaskan Political Party Group

The chairwoman of an Alaskan political party that advocates a vote on the state’s secession from the union said Tuesday that she had been mistaken when she said Gov. Sarah Palin had been a member of the group.

A front-page article in The New York Times on Tuesday and articles in other news outlets reported that Ms. Palin was a member of the party, the Alaskan Independence Party, for two years in the 1990’s.

The information in the Times article was based on a statement issued Monday night by Lynette Clark, the party’s chairwoman, who said Ms. Palin joined the party in 1994, and in 1996 changed her registration to Republican.

On Tuesday night, Ms. Clark said her initial statement was incorrect and had been based on erroneous information provided by another member of the party whom she declined to identify. The McCain campaign also disputed the Times report, saying Ms. Palin had consistently been registered as a Republican.

If all these things happened to me and my wife, I’ll surely sue all these lying reporters and journalists.

Times? Is it the most accurate and balance? What happened to all of you guys in the news and TV? You can’t even deliver to the people at least one accurate news.

My wife is asking me this? How can she now take back all the words she said against Palin?

CNN, Times, and the rest, you are misleading us. Allow us to decide. We don’t want you to make a choice for us. WE can still think. You are influencing our vote.

We are still independent and but will all these mistakes, how can we know trust the information being fed to us?

News media and analysts you are not America. America is us, the people. You are twisting the facts.

Aaron Lester, I gave up on trusting the media a very long time ago! I dont trust MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, the New York Times, etc anymore! Every news outlet is biased one way or another. What you need to do is research everything yourself. If you hear something on MSNBC, watch Fox for the other side. Then find out who is actually being accurate(chances are, they both are lying a bit no matter what). But you can get candidates voting records, histories, records when they were a lawyer, etc by searching online, searching through news articles when they were a nobody(since the news only reports the facts when it involves a nobody), searching through court records online, etc. That is what you have to do in America now! The media does not know anything and people that believe the media do not know anything(nothing against them, they just hear biased info all day long). That is what I do, which is why I fully support Sarah Palin because she is a very clean, honest person that has not lied once about her past.

By the way, New York Times subscription rate fell from above 12 million to under 1 million after the NSA “phone tapping” headlines(apparently NYT does not realize what the majority of Americans actually know, and NYT has become also as inconsequential as the National Enquirer, People, Star, etc.

Your wife can just contact the people she said the comments to about Sarah and tell them she was given misinformation due to the lies the press loves to spread. She can just telll them she fell for it. Now tell her she can go out and campaigne for Sarah with all her heart. Sarah is not perfect, but I see a future President here. The first woman President of the United States of America, Sarah Palin. She is whooping some keesters.
