Palin is running for VP and NO ONE HAS HEARD OF HER. Of course her bio is going to sell out now that it’s been announced and people are hearing her name for the first time. Pelosi, on the other hand, has been in the public eye for some time. Those who want to know about her most likely already have.

You right-wing nut bloggers are as bad as the far lefties. Try debating the ISSUES instead of the party name or the people themselves. Be the bigger person instead of continuing the hate of Republicans at Democrats. It’s REALLY getting tiresome…

Of course it is sold out. Voters want to know who the heck she is !!

Barack has been on the campaign trail for 17-MONTHS in one of the most covered and scrutinized primary campaigns in the history of our nation. Even your beloved Faux News, whoops I mean Fox News, has covered Barack and the Democratic party to death. To say Barack is unknown is just turning a blind eye to the obvious and lying to yourself and other righties. Of course, you’ll keep believing lies like you stated (a product of the Daley machine? Mrs. Palin seems like a nice woman, but she has ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER; being mayor of an Alaskan town of 9,000 makes her ready for a sitcom about smalltown life, not one John Sidney McCain heartbeat away from being the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD.

Derek should get his head out of the sand. BHO has done nothing positive in any of the positions he has held. When he was Illinois Senator he apparently saw to it that his wife received a nice increase in salary and then rewarded her employer with a $l,000,000 gift from the government.

If you want to talk about hate you are well qualified. Ihave never seen as much hatred as democrats have exhibited toward Pres. Bush.

Sarah Palin’s curriculum vitae far exceeds that of Barack NMN Obama. Exactly what does a “community organizer do? Is being a wardheeler state senator for the South Side of Chicago who voted “present” 130 times make you feel like Obama’s ready to take on Putin or Ahmedinejad?

She’s the Governor of Alaska, for goodness sake. She’s headed the State Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (Alaska where 20 percent of our domestic oil production is.)

Face it .. you’re upset because your man, who has ZERO experience at running anything and is wet behind the ears in foreign affairs, picked the plagiarizer Biden, whose foreign policy experience is extensive but invariably at odds with reality, as his running mate.

You’re also upset because Obama who won his primary campaign with empty slogans like “Change we can believe in” is suddenly supposed to be a man of great substance when you and I know, he’s an empty suit.

Community organizers organize people to seek political and social change. Some of the more famous examples would be MLK, Jr., Dorothy Day, and Cesar Chavez. Barack Obama’s community - the South Side of Chicago, by the way, has roughly three-to-four times the population of all of Alaska.

When he was community organizing, She was wrapping up her bachelor’s degree at the second-rate University of Idaho (on the five year plan, no less). By contrast, Obama attended and excelled at Columbia and later Harvard Law School where he was magna cum laude (all exams are blind graded if you want to attribute it to something beyond his skill) and the president of Harvard Law Review (which is arguably the most prestigious position that a prospective law student could ever hope to achieve). Moreover, he was also a best selling author (no ghostwriting either, unlike John McCain), an attorney at one of the top law firms in the country, a civil rights attorney, a constitutional law professor, and on the boards of numerous charities and other not-for-profit organizations.

Additionally, it is a joke to say he lacks executive experience (same goes doubly for McCain - who has run twice). Running a presidential campaign is a humongous, exhaustive effort involving raising and spending millions and millions of dollars, management of thousands of volunteers and paid staff, all while making countless appearances and interviews. This is not the same as governance, but it is undeniably executive management.

Also, if you knew anything about Illinois Senatorial Procedure - present votes are a common strategically means of avoiding votes on certain bills (there are other purposes for such votes as well, but I’ll allow you to look it up). For example, you may want to vote present on a bill that say funds education, but is laden with certain earmarks. This would allow you to avoid being accused of voting against education funding, while still denying it the support it needs to pass. His constituency was not unhappy with his Senatorial career - his present votes are not something you will hear them complain about.

I dont’t believe that democrats have anything to do with it.

It’s scary enought to think that most public schools these days are “run” by these crazed, overly invested soccer and hockey moms who run the PTA like it’s a Fortune 500, but to think this clueless, crass broad could be our second in command is staggering. I pity all the qualified Republican women who have worked their butts off in a myriad of public service venues and got snubbed for the “perky,sexy aggressive one.” She really needs to stay up in Alaska and tend to her brood ~ classless breeder that she is!
