What an amazing political season! Obama Democrats are ignoring all truth and attacking Sarah Palin like rabid dogs. Reason: she is more qualified than Obama. Read:
http://christianprophecy.blogspot.com/

In “Previous Public Jobs”, you left out Gov. Palin’s chairmanship of the Alaska Oil and Gas Commission

WOW! Excellent article. Thank you for researching.

marvelous list and on the mark
thankyou

Put in more about that gas pipeline. It’s a big executive and legislative achievement she can point to. Since it goes across Canada that means the Canadians had to be negotiated with as well.

Check out this article from Investor’s Business Daily a couple of weeks ago… Palin’s Gas Pipeline Isn’t Hot Air http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=303693123946167&kw=palin

Palin considers the $26 billion project her biggest accomplishment as governor. “It was not easy,” she told IBD. “Alaska has been hoping and dreaming for a natural gas pipeline for decades. What it took was getting off the dime and creating a competitive market in Alaska.”

Great chart - loved it! Sarah Palin has more integrity and experience in her little finger than obama does in his entire body and the Dems are terrified of her. And they should be - she will bring millions of women voters to the polls in November and hand obama his big egotistical head on a platter.

McCain/Palin 08!!!

In “Athletic prowess,” the fact that she was captain of a state championship high school basketball team was left out.

The best I have ever read. A golden pen we place in your hands for such a great article of humor!

This is a great bunch of information, but I think the age on Obama is wrong. I think he just turned 47

-Robert-

And the other comments about Sarah Palin are right. She is an amazing woman, who will be a great VP, and if, heaven forbid something happen to McCain, she would make a really good president. The woman is smart, has a great head on her shoulders, she is conservative, and she is honest. What more could you want in a politician?

-Robert-

When you turn on the news, every station talks about how unqualified Palin is for VP, compared to Obama as the President of America. I can’t see how people can even vote for Barak Obama with his lack of credentials. As soon as he is elected he gets his wife a 160% pay raise and a million dollar taxpayers earmark where she works. Obama couldn’t wait to be corrupt, and as president it scares me that he might win. America wake up!!!

Thank you for the well-researched comparisons.
Great post!

Nice comparison chart. It could be added that when she became Governor she sold the Governor’s Jet on Ebay and fired the chef, telling him thanks but no thanks I can make my kids their sandwiches myself. Like Gov. Mike Huckabee said, Sarah Palin made more important decisions on a daily basis as Governor than Barack Obama has made in his entire time in the U.S. Senate most of which has been spent running for President.

Unfortunately, America is not listening to a bunch of tinfoil hat wearing, angry Hillary Huggers. You losers need to come back to the real world. That is all!

Sarah Palin is an answer from God! Her experience, Intellect & her Resume make her more than ready to answer that 3 AM call on day one if the need should arise. Let us all place our energy on supporting the McCain / Palin ticket and totally ignore the idgits that try to slam her to protect bo. I have never accepted that the God I worship would allow a self serving messiah wannabe get elected to the country He rules regardless to those that try so hard to shut Him out. Beautiful comparison and forget the 47/48 age of bo. Who cares?

this was so truthful and great thank you for researching and showing that palin is more qualified than obama
and we know she is certainly way more honest he lies about anything and you cant depend on any of his promises.
in his latest convention speach he promised not to raise taxes but in the other breath he told the americian people not to get used to the cars they are driving and not to get used to the kind of food they are eating. he is scary.

WE LOVE IT. IT’S GREAT. PASS IT ON TO THE MEDIA.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ENERGY IN COMPILING THIS.

McCAIN-PALIN 2008 AND HILLARY-ANYBODY 2012

That’s a pretty cool chart!

Great work! Superb drollery and admirable restraint.

SOme suggestions —

That was TWO opponents whose sealed divorce records were suddenly made public.

And you forgot to mention that Obama has in his “accomplishments” column, that he defeated the perennial candidate, Alan Keyes. Keyes was a last-minute, carpetbagger replacement for the Republican Senate Race. And Keyes got 30 per cent of the vote - about 12 times his usual result.

And minor edits.

Under “athletic prowess” that should read:

Has reporters tailing him to the gym and then to the hospital because his little bumbum hurts.

Under Family Affairs:
Brother lives in a hut in Nairobi on $12 per year; grandmother lives in a tiny hut without electricity or water.

You should include in the athletic part the fact that she was a pointguard for her high school/college basketball teams, was nicknamed Sarah “Barracuda”. Also include that Obama shot a 3-pointer once, and is terrible at bowling.

You left out one environmental and/or pork category achievement of Sarah’s —-she sold the jet used by her predecessor and now takes commercial airlines or drives herself to meetings in her state.

Palin’s credentials and accomplishments really put Obama’s to shame. Obama is not only unqualified to be president, but his idealogy is dangerous - as evidenced by his support of Odinga in Kenya (A muslim sympathizer, for those that do not already know.). Obama was already going down before McCain selected Palin for VP. The expected “bump” in the polls is very little to show for the outrageous expense in putting on his ego-driven rock concert. Same trick he used in Germany - using music to benefit from the excitement created by a musical event. What most pundits have missed is the fact that Obama has been obsessed with imitating JFK and that the “temple set” designed by an Architectural firm HNTB, which specializes in sports venues, was trying to recreate a set that combines the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the German Brandenburg Gate into one magnificent subliminal manipulation extravaganza. (Sorry about all the mispelling.) In any case, this shows the disrespect he has for the average American voter. Women experiencing buyer’s remorse with Obama have been given another chance to get it right in November. I am and will always be an Independent, but I know that the Republicans are not going to stand by silently while another woman is totally disrespected by the Liberal Media and the Hollywood plastic-fantastics. Hillary Clinton was the Democrats sure win, and they traded that in for a historic event. Well they now have that, but unfortunately for them, that is all they’re going to get this time around.

Sarah Wins in my book

Alaska’s population is greater than that of North Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming. Alaska is more than twice the size of Texas. Alaska borders Russia and Canada, with many official and commercial relationship to each. Alaska has more exploitable mineral wealth than most nations. To be governor of Alaska is no small matter.

It is obvious the Dems are frightened of Sarah…it’s only been two days and she has gotten more negative attention from the left than Sen.McCain.

McCain/Palin has my vote !

Another category should be added - Fiscal Responsibility. Palin - used $400 million excess revenues from increased gas prices to invest in pipeline for Americas energy independence. Obama - Chaired board of Annenburg Challenge with William Ayers for four years. Investing $160 million in additional bureacracy in Chicago schools netting no improvement in teacher and student results.

Barack and Sarah would actually make a perfect team. He’s the rockstar of the Democrats, she’s the superstar of the GOP.
He’s the all star lead of his HS and college basketball team, she was the varsity point guard for her HS team.
They both want to change America.

Obama/Palin 08

I thought Barack Obamas nickname was Barry O’Bomber from his H.S. Basketball days.

Thats where Palin got her Barracuda nickname, H.S. Basketball!

Someone needs to put that up on the screen at the convention for everyone to see besides us. Wow! That should make a lot of people see how ridiculous BO is.

Thanks Hugh, This is the very same comparison that Mr. McCain used to make his veep choice. As a blue-dog dem, I am totally on board with the choice. Not since Reagan, have I been so motivated. Mr. McCain WILL cement his legacy as a maverick, and be known for one of the biggest shockers in political history. Sarah will become known, loved by conservatives, and in four years, will be there to crush Hillary. John McCain, is a brilliant man. Watch and see.

NoBama

pieces like this that are so clearly biased in one direction lose all credibility. the republicans have had more than their chance to make this world a better place and have lost a ton of american equity throughout the world. i would almost rather vote for a turnip than another republican.

Great article!!!

Republicans should use this information in one commercial after another.

Win or Lose, I love this pick of Palin. She seems so genuine and sincere, I feel like I am witnessing the new Ronald Reagan.l

Great Chart!!! I wish Palin was an independent, Green Party Member or a Democrat. I agree that Palin is more impressive than Obama. McCain is certainly more respectful of Hillary Democrats and the women’s vote than Obama. Thanks for this.

Still, Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same corrupt coin. For that reason my statement this year will be clear. I’m voting for woemn, and we need new Parties. Hillary needs to get off the Democratic whimp team and start a new Party. Republicans are not for Peace and Not for a women’s right to choose. Don’t let the choice of one good woman fool you, Republicans are not the answer if we want change and neither is the phoney, underhanded team of Obama/Axelrod.

I’m voting for the Green Party and my vote will say Yes for Women. No Obama. No Sexist Democrats. No Republicans. We need new parties.

Thanks for a great summary of the facts.

We’ve all heard that Obama has a lot of experience as a “community organizer,” and what is that?

Well I read somewhere out there that a commmunity organizer is a guy who sneaks around in the middle of the night stapling junk notices to your telephone pole.

Great chart. Hope you update it with the suggestions made in the comments.

Need to know what is the truth on the “firing” of State TooperWooten to supposedly protect her siser in messy divorce- will this hurt her?

I love it! A couple of additions to your chart would be great:

Under both Executive Experience and Private Sector Experience, you really need to include “Business Owner.” For many people this is much more valuable experience than salmon fishing!

Under Foreign Policy Experience, it would be helpful to include “Negotiated a pipeline deal with Canada that brought significant benefit to her state.” Having her state border two foreign countries undoubtedly gives her more foreign experience than Obama, but the fact that she has successfully negotiated a deal with one of those foreign countries - a deal that benefitted her state - indicates she has more diplomatic expertise than the vast majority of state governors.

Thanks again for the great recap of exactly why Sarah Palin is more qualified to be VP than Obama is to be President. :)

The Dems are attacking Palin’s experience? Let’s compare:

He entered the Senate the same time she entered the Executive mansion;

While he was giving speeches and running for President, she was running the nation’s largest state;

He says hes for change, she has cleaned up Alaska;

While he was voting “present” in the Illinois House, she was working as mayor;

While he talks about alternative energy plans; she has been working to open on-shore and off-shore oil and gas reserves;

He plays basketball, she was point guard for the state championship team;

He’s a talker, she’s a doer!

Great work!

How about adding a quote from each?

“I’m looking at (Trig) right now, and I see perfection. Yeah, he has an extra chromosome. I keep thinking, in our world, what is normal and what is perfect?”

“I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

A little skewed to the right but a very good presentation

It’s ironic that in Obama vs. Palin, the Top of the Democrat ticket doesn’t even stack up against the #2 for the Republicans. Think about that for a second - and what becomes implied is that Obama is not even in the same league as McCain!

Also, regarding “experience” and whether Sarah is ready to step into the Presidency - well, two things. First, she gets to be apprentice for a while (not so with Obama). And second, if god forbid McCain had to be replaced, wouldn’t Sarah Palin get to choose a new VP? Presumably, she could pick somebody with more foreign policy experience (just like Obama did with Biden). That is precisely what the democrats did - and so there goes that argument!

Thank you for facts the MSM fear, will distort or simply suppress. MSM is Big Brother BHO’s “1984″-Outer Party” THOUGHT POLICE…Keep up the good work. As Czeslaw Milosz; Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn; T.S.Eliot; & Jesus Christ per The New Testament proclaims: THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE…
Arthur F. McVarish, Houston

Compliments galore for the exceptional arrayed comparison of Sarah Palin vs. Barack Obama: WOW……poor BHO, his accomplishment history is near negligible.

Maybe Eleanor Clift, contributing journalist to Newsweek, MSNBC, etc., etc.; who stated yesterday that upon McCain’s announcement, laughter was heard throughout most newsrooms will rue the day that she exposed her childish (jealous) character.

Well, Eleanor, I think your candidate (BHO), by comparison, is an absolute neophyte.

I was a Republican since 1964. I changed to Independent during the Clinton years because the Republicans turned weak. Now I am back and thrilled. Reagan has risen!

The chart is excellent, it highlights “accomplishments and results” vs “experience”…and no need to engage in snark, it doesn’t add to constructive dialogue.
Is this chart biased? Sure…its politics. I’m a deeply cynical and skeptical independent voter, Senator Obama’s supporters can construct such a chart, only they have to include the info that is on this chart; anything less is intellectually dishonest. They can include their own info on both sides as long as it is factual. Remember John Adam’s admonishment: Facts are stubborn things.
And why is the Govenor being compared to Senator Obama. The logical comparison is between the two veep picks. I do understand that the message is that Senator Obama can’t even compare favorably to Governor - to which I admit I must agree. Perhaps a follow up chart between both presidential candidates will drive home that point.

Great (and humorous) comparison. How about one with Sarah and
Joe Biden. Can’t wait for the Veep Debate.

You have left out Obama’s desire to be the “Commander of Chief of the 58 states of America.” There is also a lack of who in the MSM has endorsed the candidates:

Palin- probably local nespapers/periodicals (they don’t count as MSM, so really- None)

Obama- NYTimes, Newsweek (Appearing 7 times on the cover), MSNBC, CNN, et al.

Feel free to use any of these!

I have been totaly disappointed in the selection of both presidental candidates. I absolutly didn’t like either one but didn’t want to waste my vote. Now after reading your great column and reading other coments and after the naming of Mrs. Palin as his VP running mate I have found a man/women team I can vote for….. McCain/Palin.

The dimocrats are hating life about now, wishing they had a presidential candidate even half as qualified as the GOP’s vice-presidential candidate. Then there’s the dimocrats’ vice-presidential candidate, the plagiarist “Hair-plug” Biden. Just how much “change” do they think a person who has been in Congress for 36 years and who depended on the preserving of the “status quo” to help keep him there will be willing to sign on for?

Another side by side category - Attitudes Toward Private Jets. Palin - sold state private jet on Ebay because it was wateful; Obama - smeared out the American flag on campaign jet and replaced it with campaign seal; installed luxury seating in his cabin, his seat has ‘President Obama’ stiched into the leather.

This is great information and should be on national TV — good sound bites.

What a fantastic comparison. It counters every backwater slam that is coming out of the democrat coffers.

Democrats have their panties all in a tither. This pick caught them completely by surprise, they don’t know how to attack it.

What is going to happen next is old Joe is going to come up “sick” and Hitlery will step up as VP to save the country.

Palin/McCain in 08.

This is really good. It summarizes everything you need to know about the two. The choice is so clear.

John McCain has made a wonderful selection, which shows he has the necessary judgement to be a great president.

You might add under that abortion thingy that she doesn’t believe she had a RIGHT to CHOOSE whether to carry the child to term.

No choice, no problem.

Just shows a bit of stupidity in getting pregnant after 40 though.

“Nation’s largest state…”

Oooh, yeah, LOTS of land.

Not so many people, tho.

Governing people is a whole lot larger than governing land, especially when you get to hand out checks to every citizen by exploiting the natural resources in all that land.

I guess that’s why Bush the Sequel got elected too, Texas is BIG. Didn’t matter that governor is about the fifth most important position in the Texas government.

Land area = expertise, that’s the ticket.

And Delaware? It’s a teeny, tiny state, so Biden must have NO experience at ALL.

Oh yeah, Alaska is near Russia, too. So that gives her ooodles of foreign policy experience.

“Sarah Palin is an answer from God!”

Is that the same God that brought us the Boy Idiot and his controller Darth Cheney.

Heaven can’t help us if that God is really doing this.

Why does God hate America?

Great information. Giving it in chart form so that both sides could be compared it very helpful. Too bad no one did this with McCain and Ohbama. You have helped me make up my mind. McCain and Palin for me!!!

great read. I would love to a one on one basketball game between Sarah and Obama. She would probably win! What fun!!!

THANK YOU I’m Canadian and she’s my kinda lady.

This certainly put everything into perspective. She’s awesome and Obama’s just a professional ‘underdog’.

I love and adore her and I’m not even a lesbian. LOL
McCain made a brilliant choice. YOU RULE! John and Sarah!!!

We need to mention that Obama never challenged the corrupt Chicago, Cook County and Illinois Democratic machine. He was just a “go along, get along” Illinois Democrat. When he had a chance to actually contribute to reform in the last Cook County election for Cook County Board President by endorsing a Democrat reformer, he actually endorsed the Daley endorsed candidate Todd Stroger, the son of the former Board President. Todd Stroger is a tax and spend politician and the newspapers have reported his hiring of relatives and political cronies. With an increased County tax pushed by Todd Stroger, Chicago now has the highest sales tax in these United States. So much for change, when he had the chance to do something, he punted so as not to anger the political bosses. Sarah Palin did challenge her party and got results. The only change Obama will bring to Washington is the the Chicago and Illinois Democratic Machine politics. They say all politics is local but on the local level he did not deliver any change. As for the experience argument Sarah Palin’s experience is executive experience. Why is that Senators rarely are elected President? No management or executive experience. The argument should also be about achievement and accomplishment. Obama, since he graduated law school, has achieved nothing and accomplished less. His election to the Senate was the result of a poorly handled Republican effort (as usual in Illinois, since they are in bed with the Dems), and a purported sex scandal raised by the Chicago Tribune against the Repub nominee.

Under ‘athletic prowess’ it should be mentioned that Obama may be a smoker. Michelle Obama said that her husband was a smoker and she was trying to get him to quit….I don’t know if he still is, but I believe it was in an interview with Barbara Walters that this was mentioned. Also, the Obamas live in a $4 million dollar house. What sort of property does Governor Palin own?

I typed in “Sarah Palin accomplishments” into yahoo and this came up.
Half of this was tongue in cheek, I wish you would have taken this seriously and done a fair and balanced view on the subject. Honestly, while personal responsibility for tune-ups and tire pressure were mentioned… that is not Obama’s only stance on the subject. I really wish I could find Facts that weren’t preselected by the two extremes side of both parties.

There may be bias here… but the truth in what was written justifies it. I am an old ‘independent’ WW II Vet who voted for Harry Truman and has called every Presidential vote since. With the introduction of PALIN I will both ‘call’ and vote for McCain as our next prez. Visit my website at http://www.capndee.com for TRUTH about Obama, and see how an old geezer who has been around awhile puts family and country first.

Amen!!!! Amen!!!!!Amen!!!
Great Article - Great Comparisons!
Needs to be sent to Hannity & Colmes - would make a great
show for them!

If there is any bias it is justified by the truthful comparison. To this old WW II vet, Palin was a wise choice. If you seek more truth on Obama’s background, check out my website, http://www.capndee.com

Wise choice, this should make a big diffence in the polls!

You forgot PTA and soccer mom… that’s important to know for someone who might have to answer the phone in the White House at three AM.

I am a Hillary supporter, now voting for McCain-Palin because of their experience, patriotism, record of accomplishments and integrity. I’ve ordered my bumper sticker and will proudly display it next to my Hillary and “got experience?” stickers. Go McCain-Palin!!!

Obama is an empty suit, this woman has far more experience than Obama. Everything that has transpired duing the Bush administration was rushed along by the Democrats, they are complicit. We have control of the House and Senate and what has that gotten us, Fisa with retro immunity for the telecom people thanks mostly to the One. Our leadership is a joke of the not so funny kind.

Country before party!!

Also, I think there needs to be some mention, not in this chart, about how Obama made a huge VP mistake (for the ages) and not McCain.

Obama should have taken Hillary, she even said she would be honored to be his VP, but his ego was too big. He under-estimated her supporters, just assuming they’d all fall in line come November. Now all of a sudden he’s in a pickle with PUMA and 30% of her supporters saying they’ll defect to McCain. While I do think that number may be slightly inflated, that’s still a sizeable amount.

As a former Hillary supporter I cannot express how well Obamania and the news media did at alienating her voters. Whether it was the pure, biased, viciousness she and her husband were attacked or the way a large margin of her supporters were categorized as “lesser educated” (I think it should have been more and less real world experience, since his college supporters are generally super-idealists who believe communism can work and boycotting Walmart will hurt the CEOs) or when he made that comment about Pennsylvanians having antipathy towards others “not like them” (the tail-end of that statement conveinently ignored).

She was a choice so obvious he had to NOT pick her on purpose. Biden was picked as an attack dog and for his massive foreign policy experience (Biden looks to take on the Cheney role, as far as being the guy running things, not on policy obviously) but the problem with this, aside from the fact Biden doesn’t excite anyone, is that he comes with a ton of controversy most notably his son being a registered washington lobbyist…meanwhile Hillary’s dirty laundry was and has been out in the open.

Sarah was a bold choice, and a smart one, and I think more light should be set on the already ramifications of Obama’s massive running mate blunder.

hey! where did my previous post go!

Also Compare Biden’s and Palin’s responsibilities:

Palin - Governor
Biden - U.S. Senator

population AK - 700,000
DE - 850,000

size - AK - 656,000 sq. mi. (800 miles by 1500 miles)
DE - 2,500 sq. mi (30 mi by 96 mi)
Anchorage, AK - 1960 sq. mi.

Under “What they’ve done to live that theme” you should add defeating the Billary Clinton Machine for Obama. I’m anti-Obama, but we should give him props for that significant achievement. I think it’s the only concrete thing he’s done to really impress me. Doesn’t change the bottom line though: McCain/Palin all the way.

barack obama is a socialite and is running for president to be the black race president.if hes elected you wil have to say ‘yes, sir’ and “NO sir” to ALL blacks cause it is their time-yes,we can, walk to close and you’ll get cursed and they say -”it;s out time, honkey, get outta the way!you will see most government programs go to blacks and 840 billion to africa that has a terrorist leader that burned, looted. killed and forced people to vote for him at gunpoint.and other countries.everything will eventually be gov’t controled under him!

Awesome work! It’s about time that someone held our news organizations accountable for their selective approach to journalism. I would have lived my entire life without finding this on any printed source. God Bless you all!

I do not believe anyone is qualified to be President of the United States of America unless they are serving their second term as President. They will most certainly have experience as being the President. Are they qualified to be President of the United States of America just because they were president?

President G.W. Bush did not have any experience, but he was elected and chose Dick Cheney as his VP, who has huge amounts of experience. None as President of the United States.

Have you naysayers forgotten about the members of a President’s Cabinet? Governor Sarah Palin has experience as council member of Wasilla, AK, Mayor of Wasilla, AK, as Governor of Alaska and Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska National Guard.

The duties and responsibilities of all these positions required decisions that affected thousands of people and millions of dollars in finance. As Commander-in-Chief she made the decision to send the Alaska Guard to Iraq to liberate the Iraqi’s from Saddam Hussein and help our country fight the terrorists there rather than on our streets.

Our President, as Commander-in-Chief, sent our military to Afghanistan, Iraq and other places round the world to fight terrorism. Both, President Bush and Governor Palin, used the same procedure in making their decisions. They both called their advisors to meetings and gathered information to be used in reaching a decision which is their’s only to make.

Senators Obama and Biden have made decisions that have affected millions of people and billions of dollars in finance. Both of them made decisions that became law to allow millions of unborn babies to be killed. Both of them made decisions not to drill for oil and gas to begin the process of ending $700 billion dollars every year to countries that finance terrorism round the world.

The “Do Nothing Congress Energy Policy” of the Democrats is NO to everything pertaining to energy that will help prevent our American citizens from being enablers of terorism round the world with petroleum dollars.

This forces Americans to be enablers of terrorism. The Democrats have prevented drilling for oil and gas, oil shale, prevented construction of nuclear (clean energy) power plants and oil refineries for more than 30 years.

I did not know that a post has to agree with the analysis above, in other for it not to be deleted. However, all comparisons have to be made. Educationally, Obama is more sound than this woman. A graduate of columbia universities in political science and international relations. Havard law magna cum laud, president of the law review. taught constitutional law. Actually helped pass bill in the current senate who has a democratic majority. If you guys want to continue the gridlock go ahed, delete my post. However, to be fair–a governor of a state of 700K less than my county in FL, cannot be compared to the sound national and international knowledge obama has on issues. National issues like health care, education. So be fair, and a fair comparison, or e unfair, delete my post once more.

Gimme a break! This comparison is so slanted I fell out of my chair reading it.

Obama is an attorney and spent 12 years teaching constitutional law at Harvard. What experience does Palin have with understanding the constitution and the law? A topic that old GWB seem to be lacking knowledge in also.

And thanks for posting the chart.

EXCELLENT COMPARISON! BRILLIANT OF MCCAIN TO PICK SARAH PALIN FOR VP. SPEAKING OF CHANGE THEY WILL INDEED BRING SINCERE AND MUCH NEEDED CHANGE TO CONGRESS AND THE SENATE WITH THEIR LEADERSHIP. WITH THE ELECTION OF THE MCCAIN/PALIN TICKET THERE IS NEW HOPE FOR A BETTER USA!

Yeah, it’s interesting how much time is being devoted to comparing the Republican VP candidate to the Democrat Presidential candidate. Realistically, they shouldn’t even be close. A presidential candidate should always blow a VP candidate out of the water. However, in this case, it’s exactly the opposite.

And yeah, there’s a lot of Palin smear going on since the announcement. Of course, that’s the easiest way to attack what you fear. While there may be laughing and shrugging off the Rebublican choice, a lot of it is out of legitimate concern. Palin is a strong choice for VP; perhaps not the one many Republicans would have chosen, but that does not make her a poor choice. Regardless of her position on some issues, she is a rally point for women wishing to see a woman advance in the White House. She is a symbol for women’s rights. Ignoring that would be a mistake.

And yes, she does appear to have far more executive experience than Obama has. Again though, a comparison between a Presidential candidate and a VP candidate. There shouldn’t even be room for comparison between those two roles. As an independent who has been absolutely fed up with Republican mismanagement of the executive office, a candidate like Palin makes this an interesting election. McCain wasn’t compelling enough for me to jump up and down over, but Palin is.

And I’m an old guy. I was a bit sketchy about a woman in the White House; but that’s probably because the previous option was Hillary Clinton, for whom my dead, decaying corpse wouldn’t even have voted. But I couldn’t be more pleased about Palin being selected for the ticket.

Obama is all talk and no action. He has done nothing for the American people but voted not to make English our language so press 1. He voted to give the illegal immigrants social security and our children who have worked hard will not get any. He says that he will not add taxes but wants to send $875000 to Africa for the poor which will come from additional taxes. America please look at his record before you vote. It is not a black or women thing it is who will run our country and repair it.

It is funny how some Democrats are saying they don’t like Sara, but don’t say why. Do you know why that is? They have nothing bad to say about her. She is as clean as a whistle. She does not seem to do anything bad and is pretty much a genuine person.

Unlike you know who….

Thanks for the wonderful table that puts these two in perspective. I’m a liberal Dem, a Hillary supporter, a PUMA who supports John McCain. I met him, along with Carly Fiorian, and I like them both immensely. What Obama and the DNC did to Hillary was abominable and they won’t get away with it.

This election is going to be about character and that’s why McCain-Palin will win.

No problem, a couple of shingles and a coat of paint. Good as new ;-)

Thank-you for the lists. Until 2 days ago, I didn’t know who Palin was. But everything I read about her and her speech with McCain on Friday, have me so excited. I was a “bitter” Hillary supporter; but not now. I donated yesterday to the McCain campaign for the first time. My husband (another disaffected Hillary supporter) and I intend to do everything possible to see that McCain/Palin not only win come November but win by a “landslide.”
McCain/Palin ‘08

This is a great summary of qualifications. With a couple of additions, mentioned earlier, it will be perfect.

Thank you for this effort.

I would be proud and honored to have this wonderful woman serve as vice president of our country. She far out qualifies Obama.

Not sure, but I don’t think that Michelle’s employer actually received the earmark in question. You may want to double-check that.

i love it love it love it…
watch the dhimmicrats squirm and throw fits!!

I suggest you give proper credit to Jeff Emanuel who actually did the work on this post at Redstate.com.

I can’t under stand the democrates they have the majority of Seats in the congress and Senate if they Wanted to stop the oil crises they could have run it through the White house they accused Bush and the vice President of haveing there hands in the oil bussiness and they are the cause of the gas high priceses but they still have the majority of seats in the white house doesn’t it seem strange they have not acted on this crises before now is it because they would loose there cut of the moneys from there own Oil company holdings Seems sort of suspious to me Huh? Kwaynee(Ben) in Cherokee. aqnd I think Balin has more experance then Obama as a leader she is the commander and Chief of the Alaskan National Guard. what has Obama ever commanded other then his Muslim Mouth.Put him in Office and instead of haveing to catch a plane to Iraq Where the terioriest are they would be driveing the president obama around. and his body guards would be the ones he picked from these forighn countries.

Ladies and Gentlemen: Start your computers and Pass this on!

Wow, what an exciting election this will be. We will get to experience history. Ronald Reagan must be smiling. McCain’s choice was brilliant! Sarah Palin will make us proud of women and America. I can’t wait to see how she goes face to face with Biden in a debate. You go girl!

The more I read the more I like this woman and now will go to my local Republican headquarters and get a McCain/Palin bumper sticker! And donate to the campaign!

Very KOOL chart. I’m sharing it with everyone. Thank you.

This is why I’m proudly wearing my McCain/Palin yarmulke at this year’s Rosh Hashanah services.

God bless John and Sarah.

http://koolkipah.blogspot.com

Forgot one comparison……

Sarah Palin — Strong supporter of the State of Israel, and wonderful relationship with the Jewish community of Alaska.

Obama — Strong supporter of terrorist Palestinians, and wants to meet unconditionally with Arab leaders who hate Jews and want to detroy Israel.

http://koolkipah.blogspot.com

What a stroke of genious on the part of John McCain in trumping Obama. Obama can talk the talk McCain walks the walk.

Hooray for Pro Life………can’t wait for the debates…

Gov, Palin you are a breath of fresh air in politics.

gosarahpalin

Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988 and at the end of his first year was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review based on his grades and a writing competition.[18] In his second year he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the law review’s staff of 80 editors.[19] Obama’s election in February 1990 as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles.[19] He graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991 and returned to Chicago where he had worked as a summer associate at the law firms of Sidley & Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.

Twenty Items of Interest (v.30)…

1.  Great side by side comparison - Sarah Palin vs. Barack Obama… if the Obama campaign really wants to attack her for “lack of experience” - don’t go there or do because it will be good for the McCain/Palin ticket and mak…

This is brilliant. This needs to be widely shared.

Thank you so much for doing this! The next time someone tells me how “exciting” and charismatic BHO is, I’ll just send this on to them. She’s NOT an advertising concept or a media creation, she’s an American original, of the best sort. McCain can’t seem to stop smiling, and who can blame him? The fact that Dems instantly seem rabid in denouncing her, tells you that this is a master-stroke.

Previous Public Jobs: Mayor of Wasilla, AK (1996-2002); President of Alaska Conference of Mayors;City Council member (1992-1996)
Executive Experience: Governor for 2 years;Mayor for 10

I can haz basic arithmetic?

Great stuff. A correction: According to the dates you provide, Palin was mayor for 8 years, not 10. Let’s not give the left any opportunity to dismiss the rest of the facts because we get one slightly wrong.

Biff, you’re partially misinformend: Obama did not teach Constitutional Law at Harvard. I believe he was an adjunct professor at the U of Chicago.

Governor Palin, I come from a typical Australian meld of English,Scottish, Irish and Cornish background whose rules of life were all “do the right thing” in spite of the vast spread of the various religious and political backgrounds.

A family gathering (after a few (or too many) bevvies)can be very interesting because of the political discussions. We are a very political family because we take different views of of what our parents, grandparents and great grandparents set us up for a good life in the (second) greatest country in the world.

There is not a hellava lot of difference between Alaska and Australia in so many things, but we have beaches on the doorstep of Sydney. You guys don’t have a big problem with melenomas.

I come from a Celtic backgound where the women were strong, hard and the centre of the family group. I am delighted that in the Anglosphere there are still the bases of normal discussion (without the nastiness)and that Grandparents can be seen as Grandparents and their children have the ability to launch their offspring into accomplishing the ultimate
accomplishment: The Mother of the World.

Great photies of the oldies!

Congratulations Madam Next President.

Regards,

Stephen Eakin.

At first I worried about McCain’s selection for VP. I would have loved to see him choose Romney due to his acumen on the economy. Matter of fact, I wish Romney was our presidential candidate.
That being said, the more I hear and read of Sarah Palin the more impressed I am of her. She sounds like a breath of fresh air for Washington and someone that we could respect.
I believe she will be a great leader for us.

An excellent side-by-side. I will be posting this in its entirety at the RWRepublic (and probably commenting on it).

Anybody know of where I can see a similar article on McCain and Biden. This is a great format.

common_guys@yahoo.com

This is brilliant! Can you provide it as a graphic or document easy to email, post, etc?

… actually, just selected and pasted.

Am going to spread this VIRALLY!!!

This is entertaining, but ineffective other than energizing the base.

Rather than make a joke of it, why not have an informed Obama supporter fill in the Obama side? The tongue-in- cheek jokes will disappear, but the result would be a better and more objective contrast. My sense is that it would be even more convincing about their differences, experience, etc., and would then have some credibility with people who are genuinely trying to make up their mind.

Having said that, as a part of the base, I love it!

I am a Conservative…The great President Ronald Regan is my hero.. HE was the ULTIMATE PRESIDENT….I am not fond of John McCain…It was going to be very difficult for me to “pull the lever” for him …NOW that has all changed…We have a female Ronald Regan just a heartbeat away from the Presidency…Maybe she can be the conservative we have longed for all these years….I was not happy when I heard of her selection. I was rooting for Mitt …But now that I see what she has done, he achievements …and her views…I am thrilled…Another Margaret Thatcher in the making…WE the people are very fortunate to have Sarah Palin as the “face of the future” (Get it all you RINOs ??? …Quit the liberal Republican mindset and realize that you base is CONSERVATIVE !!!!)
Kudos to McCain for a BRILLIANT choice …

Wow, that’s not a partisan listing or anything…

Funny how they left out scholastic achievements.

I like the commander in chief of the alaskan national guard bit. Uh, what orders has she given to the national guard in her 20 months as gov.? NONE = no military experience.

Absolutely great!
At last some TRUTH about Obama the loser.

Nice piece of work, appreciate your style however, I must agree with comments from others, Ward and Editor to name 2, make this side by side factually legit comparison and distribute it to those who will not do the research and those who listen to tabloids and social conjecture.

By the way did you hear what Herman Munster (Kerry) said on George Stephanopoulos’s show? Wow, that guy…

v/r,

Ba

The Republican incumbent defeated in the primary by Sarah Palin was former US Senator Frank Murkowski. There were and never had been rumors or charges of corruption against him. She defeated him fair and square and didn’t need corruption charges against him to do so. Please correct this; it is erroneous and does not help the historic candidacy of Sarah Palin. Thanks,

Please, everyone do your research.

ireport.com (From the ATS Forums)

“As far as Obama’s experience v. Palin’s: Obama graduated with honors in law from Harvard, Obama choose to work in Chicago’s Southside to help the poor and middle class who had lost their jobs or had fallen on hard times. He also taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago (as president he does take an oath to uphold the US Constitution so understanding it is very important). He went into the state legislature and eventually became US Senator. He has traveled all over the world and met with world leaders and has their respect. His judgement on Iraq was truly right (he beleived we should have gone after the people who attacked us in Afghanistan, rather than divert our attention to someone who had no part in the terrorist attacks). While in elected office Obama has worked on a multitude of bills and has sat on various committees. In the legilature he sponsored bill a giving tax credits to low income workers, supported ethics and healthcare reform. Obama supported the Republican’s predatory mortgage lending regulations which were aimed at averting home foreclosures. He was re-elected two times. Obama was chairman of the Illinois Senate’s Health and Human Services Committee.

In the US Senate Obama was on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works and Veterans’ Affairs. He also became Chairman of the Senate’s subcommittee on European Affairs. Obama is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. He co-sponsored legislation on nuclear safety, conventional arms (among others).

Palin, on the other hand, has a bachelors in Journalism from the University of Idaho, was mayor of a small town and has been governor of Alaska (with fewer people than Austin TX) for less than two years. Her legislation is good ethics reform, promoting oil drilling, and doing away with many pork-barrel projects, as well as lowering taxes.

So for those of you who believe that Obama does not have any experience or that Palin’s experience is better than his, I ask you to look at their records. I’ll take Obama’s vast and far broader experience over Palin’s thin experience (and she might be a new governor but there are many cities in the US with larger populations than her state) any day.

Re: Comment by Mary Grasmick (August 31, 2008 @ 12:47 am)
“Sarah Palin is an answer from God!”
Is that the SAME God that Dobson urged Conservative Christians to pray to that he rain on the Democrats parade last week?
He sure showed the Democrats what he thought of them!
Now watch what GREAT weather he is providing for the God Party meeting THIS WEEK in Saint Paul!
P.S.
(Well it’s been great enough for the Republicans to be spared the embarrassment of having their sitting President and Vice Presidents at the convention! Now THAT’s what I call a REAL BLESSING!)
See what “Christians” would be like if they actually followed the teaching and example of Jesus Christ, at http://LiberalsLikeChrist.Org/.

Who in the world wants a president (Obama Hussein) that refuses to salute our American flag, doesn’t believe in God, refuses to say the pledge of allegencer, is a known muslin, refuses to use the bible if sworn into office (which I pray never happens), ignored troops waiting to welcome him overseas and just walked by them like they didn’t exist, (which to me says he hates our military men fighting for their lives for the freedom of others). Look close at this guy, he could be the anti-Christ. Smooth talking but not interested in anything but himself as it shows in his books ( I burned them after I read the trash) and then bring in outside help from Washington to clean up this country? Who? The Arabs or the Iraqui’s? Maybe the Sheites? Wake Up AMERICAN… Don’t put this man into office.

Takris - I have to laugh…These are YOUR words regarding Sarah Palin, …..”Her legislation is good ethics reform, promoting oil drilling, and doing away with many pork-barrel projects, as well as lowering taxes.”

My goodness, THAT right there (YOUR words) are enough to get any SANE person to support her….

If I missed it , when did (good) ethics reform, abolishing pork-barrel spending and lowering taxes go out of style?

I’m putting a new campaign slogan on my T-shirt:

MY PAL McCAIN

Obama is not qualified to run a 7-11. This country has A trmendous oportunity this election to get honest people in the whitehouse. People who would really start a cleanup of the corruption in congress. Rise up america your country is on the line ,and people like Sarah Palin are what we need to salvage this once great nation that has been consumed with greed in which Obama is in the middle of.Obama is A very charismatic and eloquent crook and lier in my opinion.

It’s difficult to argue one side or the other when the author of the propaganda has tunnel vision from the McCain campaign. It’s easy to make anyone look better than another when you create an inaccurate comparative analysis, banking on the fact that the viewers won’t do their research.

The fact of the matter is McCain will continue the saga of the worst Presidential terms in the history of this country. His anger and aggressions from his POW days will cost us more money and lives than Bush ever did.

Obama maybe overly ambitious, but at least he has a vision to get this country back on track for our future generations, which is the most important thing we need to focus on.

Check the accuracy of the information before believing everything you read.

Sarah Palin is an angel that God has sent to repel
evil and save our nation.

Obama is a typical flim-flam man who wants nothing more than to take your money and spend it on things you wouldn’t spend it on (like $65 billion per year for an anti-world-poverty program dreamed up by the United Nations).

Palin’s first task as Governor was to sell (on eBay no less!) the prior Governor’s private jet. Palin said “We don’t need that” and sold it at a profit. She vetoed over 300 items in the Alaska budget, to save millions from being wasted and to allow rebates to every citizen (somewhere around $1,000 each) in the state.

What Palin doesn’t yet know about the federal level she can learn - but her core values are American through and through. Obama, in the other hand, can’t “unlearn” his socialist and racist philosophies, which have been drilled into him since he was a teen-ager, mentored in Hawaii by communist Frank Marshall Davis (who Obama simply calls “Frank” in his books), and fed by domestic terrorist William Ayers and Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

One thing is certain. If Obama is elected the first black President, he’ll surely be the last black President to ever emerge from the Democrat Party.

more anti-Obama ragings at http://www.colony14.net

If I had nothing else to go on, just the fact that the democrats and the liberal media are going to such great lengths to discredit every positive accomplishment in Sarah Palin’s political, as well as personal, background, tells me all I need to know to make her my favorite.

Fortunately, there are few negatives to be considered about anyone that will fight the good fight against fraud/wasteful spending, destruction of American values, protecting our Constitutional rights, making government work on less of our tax dollars, is a patriot beyond reproach, and believes in the sanctity of life. All the while fighting with no regard for how difficult the battle may be or against tremendous odds.

No doubt about it, McCain made an excellent choice for the Republican VP candidate! Sarah Palin is the real deal!

Vote McCain-Palin Nov.4th

You left out “Lightbringer” under Senator Obama’s nicknames.

Since she seems to stack up so well against Senator Obama, please do another one that stacks up McCain against Rev. Wrights star parishioner. You might have to delete a few years from McCain’s resume just to make it even. How about we leave off the “prisoner of war” stuff? Everyone knows about it anyway, and many people on the left think he was captured by the good guys.

its nice to see that not everyone alive is hell bent on kissin the obamessiahs crotch tho the news media definitely hails him as the second coming. as to gov palin being more qualified, the average ball scratchin farmer/grease monkey is far more qualified than anyone in the race or that has been in the race, however, this is the same nation of voting halfwits that elected both clinton and bush43 twice, perhaps we deserve obama more than we or anyone else needs him. if thats the case then will some kind soul please shoot me in the head now , before it gets worse

Fernando - you’re all over the place…Get it together before you post again…You’re giving me a headache

Why compare education when you can compare important stuff like, “Coolest thing about spouse”?

At least whoever wrote this isn’t biased at all!

If Sarah Palin wasn’t married with 5 kids, you might have a run for your money against all the women in this country! Are you in love again today? Well, I am! And, I’m not afraid to say it!

She’s me, she’s us, she’s every woman! This woman is all inclusive, I don’t care if you love abortion or hate it, you have to respect and admire a woman like this. I’ll tick off a list for you:
44 years old
Wife
Mother of 5
Oldest son enlisted and going to Iraq on 9/11/08
Youngest son born on April 08 with Downs Syndrome
Soon to be a grandmother
Hunts
Shoots
Fishes
Basketball Star
Taken on Big Oil
Created Surplus in her state with a savings account
Citizens are getting $1,200 back from state government because of successful revenues with tax cuts.
Favorite food is Moose Stew
Lifetime Member of the NRA
Beat incumbent Republican Governor in primaries
Has 85% approval rating in AK
Took on and beat corruption in her own party and rooted out offenders
Parents are teachers
Attractive
She is proud of her record and it can be proven, she’s unafraid to talk about her accomplishments.
She’s straight forward and unapologetic about what she’s done

So, I ask you when did an older white guy (Biden) with nothing good to say become the CHANGE America needs? And what is more HOPEFUL for America than a strong, attractive, accomplished WOMAN?

You decide! I challenge you to learn about her, listen, read, whatever you need to do.

It’s time to really let them see a CHANGE coming!

I’ll see you at the Polls!!!!

Courage and Integrity - She spoke out against corrupt Republican politicians in her own party, making political enemies. He was elected by the most corrupt political machine in America, the notorious Democrat Chicago machine, and has done nothing to criticize it or clean it up.

Views on Personal Responsibility - She supported and urged her 17-year old unmarried pregnant daughter to do the mature and responsible thing, get married and raise the baby. He said that he would approve (urge) his daughters aborting an unmarried pregnancy.

Consistency and Tough Choices - She had to chose whether to carry to term a baby with Down’s Syndrome. She chose to have AND LOVE her baby with Down’s Syndrome, no matter how tough the going becomes. He had to choose whether to disown a racist preacher, a person he said he could no more disown than his own grandmother. He chose to stand by his preacher … for awhile … until the going got too tough.

I find all these democrats absolutely a disgrace lately picking on this woman, I find that mccains choice is better than I thought, but just watch the dirty rotten media sharks tear her apart in the next couple of weeks cause of where she stands on certain issues of being a conservitve, the rotten liberals hate anyone conservitive and see them as being hateful people, I feel that this election is already lost, due to the dirty media lies of CNN, Msmbc, and so many others, that have already begun tearing her down, I hate the thoughts of that ”Obama” as president, he is a racist. Sorry Mrs Sarh Palin, but you don’t have a snowballs chance in hell, it would have been great to have you as vice president!!!!

Sarah and her husband also owned a small business selling motorsports merchandise

Most interesting and informative. So much different than the great liberal press. Let us pray that reason will defeat predujice and that the conservatives force to keep government as small as possible will prevail. The record of socialism is so dismal and it defeats those who have a desire to make it on their own.

A fine example of fair and balanced reporting. You should consider submitting your work to Fox News- I’m sure they’d admire your objective, unbiased handiwork.

As a McCain/Palin fan (big fan of Gov.Palin) I think this would be more effective without the smart ass comments on the Obama side of the ledger. Better if it were more straight forward with a better effort to be fair to Senator Obama’s experience, little though it may be.

Hey - don’t go too far out there on Palin’s ’stopping’ the bridge to nowhere - you are going to be terribly embarrassed.

i am 100% in support of palin; however, in the interests of keeping it real, i must make a correction. under “guns” it says that she fired an M4 at a range. the truth is that it was an M4 simulator, not an actual M4.

this is, howver, a moot point. anyone who can shoot her own moose can certainly handle an m4! :)

I respeck McCain because he chose the best person avaiable, not one fron BIG STATE(ELECTORIAL votes) i.e. Pen, CALIFORINA, Ohio.etc

Senator Obama said:

“I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

Gov. Palin’s daughter made a mistake. I am impressed with her husband and her response. That isn’t anything a parent would ask for, but they do not feel their daughter is being punished with a baby. That says a lot about their character!

Obama is a good person that has the same or more experience that Sara Palin.
And about this comment “I feel that this election is already lost, due to the dirty media lies of CNN, Msmbc, and so many others, that have already begun tearing her down ”
I have to say that all the media is controlled by the republican propaganda machine so do not blame democrats, you right-wing tool.

WOW thank you for the research, you forgot to mention that Biden is for BIG government and there isn’t a tax hes not in love with, Plus Obama is a socialistic he wont come right out and say it but just listen sounds like fidel of cuba if your an age to remember pray for America if he wins.

Thank God Sen. McCain has proven that you don’t have to do things the same old weather-beaten Washington political way.

God bless you Gov. Palin. Our country’s safe with you in the 2nd seat.

Obama, go away now and reserve dignity.

Republicans had the Congress and the White House for six years and look where this country is! Republicans that love this country should do the right thing this election and educate yourselves on both candidates instead of being sheep that you have been in the past. It is your fault this country is in the mess it is, because you were all suckered by Bush for the last 8 years! All the “Rove Tactic Stuff” like this comparison, are false and dangerous. Read the replies by many on this page, and you get the sense that most are either too stupid to do research themselves, or too afraid to think for themselves.

100% palin at last honesty, for the people, everyone needs palin maybe her personal itergerty will shine so bright others will follow and stand up for the people that voted them in office how about it washington show us

Absolutely hilarious how wrong and factually incorrect this is - wow.

It drives me nuts when people say Bush is the worst President. Guess they were born after Carter. (Who is still messin’ with foreign affairs). The congress has just as much responsibility in our conditions. Hmmm in the last 2 years the dems have been in charge of congress. It also drives me nuts that the Obama crowd is saying that he was right on having a timetable to withdraw. What you MUST remember is he (and all dems) would have just withdrawn regardless of conditions. Because of the surge the Iraqis are ready and THEY are asking for a timetable which will be subject to modification if they need it.

Great research…I was born & grew up in Chicago and come from a LONG line of “Daley Democrats”, (matured in ‘78 and became a conservative independent who generally is 99% Republican)….The son carries on the legacy of the father & I KNOW no one works at City Hall (older brother & nephew there in finance) without being part of the “machine” & all that entails…I don’t want a president OR a 1st lady who can be bought! This is the type of reporting the public needs to hear but with our corrupt media never will. God Bless you for your efforts.

Thank you for putting this together that we can make a side by side comparison. I want to print it so that i can give it to friends with no email…can I do that?

Look at the libtards. They’re in a panic! Their Socialist do-nothing Messiah can’t even match up to the opposition’s second string.

Maybe Al Gore with his $30,000 electric bill can save them like he’s saving the Earth with all those trips in his gas-guzzling (3 gallons per mile) private jet!

Obama’s about as big a self-righteous LOSER as the people who will vote for him. I almost hope he wins so we can watch the Liberals still blame the Republicans for wrecking the country, despite left-wing control of both halves of Congress.

But, you know, I’d rather not. I’m not for raising taxes (Obama is). I’m not big on surrendering to terrorists (Obama is). I’m against banning private ownership of firearms (Obama is). I’m not one to call pregnancy (being punished” (Obama is).
I’m not an anti-Christian (Obama is, and so are his lemming-like mouth-breathing sycophants).

“Bush is evil, nasty, tricksy Bushhhh… We hateses Bush Forever!” is something I’d expect from Gollum, not a political platform for the party which, uh, started the Civil War to keep blacks in bondage, and put us in two world wars for which we weren’t ready… Better stop with that before a Liberal actually learns something.

“We hate Bush; Bush is bad” isn’t a substantive argument in any regard. It’s whining, like what my 6-year-old does when I deny him a Cosmic Brownie.

I think this country has had enough of the Surrender Party.

Slap a Democrat — help fertilize the planet!

This woman is too good to be true. John McClain has definitely picked a winner in her. I can’t believe people in the USA would actually think of putting Obama in office after what happened on 9/11/01. These were his people who did this to America. We need to ban together against him and elect JOHN MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT AND SARAH PALIN FOR VICE PRESIDENT. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

alls heating up for an election very historical, but the umpires analysis was totally bias, far from an object comperism, a shame to the Journalism profession or maybe a nofocus disgruntled writer……. “such awkward analysis will not sway the free liberal American icon let alone any sound minded citizen of other nations.”no matter how much persecution is brought to a person it only makes the individual stronger”…. we other nations watch yet closely!!!

I am really impressed with Gov.Palin. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who has the country/people interests at heart ? Also, one of the biggest threats we have to our country and way of life is the national news media, like them, not always giving equal time and telling the whole truth. Thanks again for this honhest info.

I am very happy that Senator McCain made the pick he did. I do not care about the mess that people are trying to cause over her daughter being pregnant. Look around you America it is all over the place, check the inner cities and you’ll see pregnancy in all forms.
I applaud Ms. Palin for taking the challenge and I certainly will support McCain/Palin for the next Presidency/Vice Presidency of this great country of ours.

I was once a Democrat until the Draft Dodging Clintons got elected and then I got smart. However I always have and always will vote for the person and not necessarily the PARTY.

Go for it McCain/Palin I hope you make it You have my vote.

To Rediculous;CAN’T FIGHT THE FACTS! MAYBE WE HAVE A BETTER CANDIDATE FOR THE DEMS THAN BO. SHOULD’VE SNATCHED HER UP FIRST!!!!I HATE WHINING! HA HA

To those who tout Mr. Obama’s Constitutional credentials, please explain his opposition to the Born Alive Infant’s Protection Act. According to the Constitution, rights of a citizen convey at birth. His position of denying the rights of a born infant because the birth was a ‘mistake’ does not indicate great Constitutional knowledge but rather a personal agenda without respect to the Constitution at all.

Knowledge of Constitutional Law is an asset when one uses that knowledge to uphold the Constitution, not to usurp it.

loved this…I was thrilled when I heard McCain picked Palin. If there’s anyone that can balance a budget better than a mother of 5, I’d like to meet them.
McCain/Palin in 08.
I just love all the “worst president in history” comments. I guess people keep forgetting who has the majority in Congress.
I also don’t understand why people make such a huge issue of the abortion question for a president. I’m completely pro-life and I’ve accepted Roe V Wade will not be overturned. The president cannot overturn that decision, he (or she) just can’t. If that is the only issue you think about when you vote, you need to think again.

Nobama for me.

I am 100% in support of McCain & Palin! Palin is a bulldog and calls a spade a spade. She actually WORKS FOR the USA with all good intentions of making our country a better place.

Great!

She chose to have five children, one at 44, of course the chances of having a Down’s Syndrome child increase with the mother’s age. I had a tubal ligation after the fourth at 32. She has brought these children into the world and they need her. Obviously the 17 year old needs her and the baby. She needs to stay home and be a mother until her children are grown or stable. I consider her to be shirking her responsibility to her family.
Mother of four grown children.

What a one-sided partisan load of crap? I am an independent that is undecided looking for more insight in to the truth about the candidates. I sure did not find it here. Sarah Palin received 40 million dollars in earmarks while Mayor of Wasila (pop.8500) This represents more earmark funding per person than any other city in America. Where is that in your chart. Married to a non-Republican is evidence of being a Maverick? C’mon. You put almost no info in the Obama side and a distortion of Palin on hers. She voted for and received money through the “Bridge to Nowhere” bill for her state and the most conservative talking heads rave about Obama’s speaking ability. When Sarah Palin gets 80,000 people to show up at a speech, email me if Im not DEAD! I have concerns about Obama but you just pushed an undecided voter towards the Dem’s. Nice job! It is okay to promote your candidate and express concerns about the opponent but this site represents what is wrong with the “us against them” philosophy that prevails in America. Why can’t any of you have honest and respectful disagreements w/those on the other side. I manage to do it with bothe Republicans and Democrats and I am just a regular open-minded guy looking for some last minute policy info or candidate goals for the future. You have offered NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VP Opponent comes from a state with 850,000 in 3 counties, Palin comes from a state with 700,000 and the size of half the continetal US that supplies a major portion of our energy needs. Biden has had the same job for 36 years and is a poster child for term limits. McCain has been there almost as long but still has the ambition to change the status quote.

The Sarah Palin pick energized me as a woman and as a republican. I think the Dems and liberal media are going after her because she is a woman, more qualified and they are scared. I just think that going after her on personal family issues and questioning her abilities because she is a woman is offensive and absurd. I like your post. McCain-Palin is “change we can believe in”.

They do not call her Sarah Barracuda for nothing. I cannot wait to see her go up against Biden. I think she will take him a part.

I believe the more objectivity one can bring to a comparison such as this the better. Therefore, a correction to “How they dealt with corruption” for the Obama side should be restated to reflect that Tony Rezko was not a felon at the time Obama did his house deal.

This sarcastic and biased side by side comparison full of half truths, stretched truths and convenient omissions does not support the argument that Palin is more qualified to be VP than Obama is to be president. How about an impartial, factual comparison sans the sarcasm. How about a comparison of Palin and Biden? Let’s see who is not only better qualified for VP but, maybe more importantly, who is more qualified to run the country should the need arise.

If Mrs. Palin is so wonderful and qualified, how come she is not the Repubplican choice as their candidate for the presidency?

Taking all the “FACTS” into consideration, and knowing from where you people are coming from, how about a chart for McCain against Obama?

This is from a proud Northeastern Bleeding Heart LIBERAL
who beleives the purpose of government is to provide for the people that which they are unable to provide for themsaelves.

Well, CalGal must be a feminist-lesbian and Biff needs to learn how to spell. IF his post was erased, it was probably because no one could read the thing (and understand it).

I am a very concerned citizan as to the real validity of the birth place of the Democrats candidate for the office of president. Why is there a reluctance to provide a valid birth certificate from Hawaii. I feel that this individual has the firm determination to bring the USA under full control of the United Nations. His ties with the Moslem countries and the bill he is sponsoring to send our tax dollars to them is enough evidence to convict him of treasom in my book. As I have studied every bit of written information that I have axcess to both pro/con and listened to his own words here while in Seattle, I can not find one thing that I could trust in him, to hold this great office. It is beyond my compreshision that the Democrates can ever say or feel that this is the best canidate that they have in their party. In my book he will say what many want to hear and not once really study the impact that it will have on their very liberties they now enjoy. We are avery sick nation and we have reached the point where we really believe that Santa Claus is real and exists in the form of our own Goverment (Santa Claus) and should provide our every desire and whim. Personal responsibity is on its way out in this country and unless we wake up and take back the idea that we are responsible for much of what happens to us, we will become slaves to the World Goverment that this guy is seeking for us. May this people wake upand do some very serious soul searching and humble praying as to how we vote, we are in for some very troubling times far betond that which we are now having.

Obama’s twisted logic that merely running for office provides him with the qualifications, experience and credentials to perform in that office, is as laughable as his twisted logic that a whirlwind 9 day, six country, overseas photo op qualifies him as an expert on foreign policy. Obama is an empty suit who is obviously trying to create the illusion that he is something that he is not. If its a choice between an experienced mayor and Governor, with an approval rating of 80% for V.P. versus. a community organizer, and junior senator, who spent most of his time in office running for President … I choose Palin. No Wright, no Farrakahn, no Ayers, no Rezko, no mean Michelle, NOBAMA

WOW, I did not know much about Ms Palin. But men have been running things for thousands of years and it is time we give the other 50 percent of the populating a chance. I am not sure how they can do any worse.

I am a petroleum engineer and I was “blown away” when Mr Obama suggested that simply inflating your tires would save more energy than we have off the east and west coast. This is right up there with the “moon is cheese”. Clint

I would not vote for Omama mamma if he were the last human on the face of the earth, he is nuts………….

correction, check out http://www.senate.gov

I am extatic about Senator McCains choice for VP. As several have said in their comments, Gov. Palin has more experience to be VP then Obama has to be President. It is beyond me how any loyal American could consider Obama for a Senator, let alone President.

We need people in the Whithouse who know how to handle terrorism and who support our Military. Obama and Clinton abhor our Military and I would bet you that Gov. Palin has been proud of her country her whole life, unlike Michelle Obama who just recently professed her love of this country, yeah right.

NOOBAMA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - NOCLINTON EITHER.

Jim E.

I wasn’t crazy with either candidate in the beginning….John McCain the maverick is impressing me more all the time especially with his running mate choice…she is true grit and so sincere….not too many you actually feel the true sincerety

Fox television did a poll with the demonstrators at the RNC and showed that they don’t even know what they are there for….Didn’t recognize pictures of leading government officials….Republican or Demoncrat….. BUMMER…THIS IS SCARY Sheryl

it always seems to generate the same comments from the democrates when they are out gunned If you dont think yiu have a chance use slander

I flew assault helicopters in Vietnam and I’m Republican on this election. I usually call myself an independent but this election is real important for us letting the world know…..if you try another thing like 9/11 we will find out where you came from and do that to your country. It’s time for us to flex our muscle and stop PANDERING!

Attacking Obama for his civil rights work? Really? Thats just sad.

Is separate but equal back now and no one told me?

I’ve ” started my computer engine ” as advised above and am emailing everyone I know a copy of this site ….

John McCain COULD NOT HAVE PICKED A BETTER CHOICE….I predict a future election Sarah vs Hilary…. I still think Sarah will win even then.!

Way to go John. Letsget them elected now. A big difference in this race now

John and Sarah in 2008…. Sarah and Cindy in 2012…..

Go Sarah!!! You and John will be in my prayers. May the Lord of Heaven continue to bless both of you. May He build a hedge around you and keep you. May He give you wisdom and courage and victory in Nov.

Re the gas pipe line… while I don’t agree with her choice of companies to put in the pipe line, until she got in office all Juneau could do is make yellow holes in the snow over it. There’s been a few other things she has done that I don’t quite agree with, but… I have never felt as “enthusiactic” over a politico as I feel about her. She is a breath of freash air. She has produced what she said sahe would… or at least as much as she has had time for in the past roughly 24 months. Repalcing her will not be an easy thing… she has shown that those thing we Alaskans want to happen can be made to happen. The question will be “Can YOU continue the good works Sarah has started?” Note… seldom has there been a Governor that people have felt comofrtable calling by the first name. Every one in Alaska knows who “Sarah” is.

Second note… Sarah commented in her campaign that she was in favor of the Bridge to No Where, but after getting into office killed it. Discovered the hidden facts about it and felt she could not put thru ethics reform while supporting the bridge. She done good.

Her work is not done here… we will miss her.

Women have come a long way with Roe vs Wade to have someone come along and destroy that. Not saying that she WILL, but once in office she will have all the power. I am a woman and how dare someone tell me what I can and cant do with my body. To feel that even if a woman is raped, she couldnt have an abortion is ridiculous. This will put us all back into the 40s.

Excellent job and with a sense of humor! I am going to post a copy of it on my blog and cross-reference it back to you blog. I am also going to add you to my blog roll. Anyone that can put this much work into an article has got my attention!

Known fact about each candidate.
Sarah Palin: Governor of the 50th state to join the nation and future Vice President of the United States.

Barak Obama: No executive experience but wishes to be President of the 57 United States

I believe that Sara Palin being on the Republican ticket has skyrocketed the chances for another Rebulican to get into office, which is phenominal! She has such courage, integrity and intellect that when it comes time to debate with Biden she will truely shine.
The fact that the (R)vice president nominee has more experience than the (D)presidental nominee stricks me as sad, the fact that he is not even a Senator, but yet he manipulates the Government for his own wife’s personal needs is disgraceful.
Fantastic job on the chart and on November 4th I will cast my vote for McCain/Palin, for they will truely shake up Washington.

To Mary Catherine Simecek: The fact that John McCain couldn’t have picked a better choice, doesn’t say much for Republican prospects. I’m sure that someone out there might even have been qualified for the job much better than her. Oh well if nothing else she can show off her clevage on Fox News if this VP thing doesn’t work out.

My take:

1. I’d rather have someone in the 2nd position of this great USA with some experience rather than someone in the 1st position with no experience.

2. N’Obama has been pushing buttons [to legislate] while Palin has been pushing a pen [to implement legislation]. Big Difference!!!

3. To Steve (9/2): Collecting a long list of “credentials” with no substantive action behind them is purely emptiness with nothing but lip service to offer! Someone with a shorter list of credentials and a condensed history of action….well, that’s substance…and is someone who has a lot to offer! …may not be ready for the final picture, but is someone who is willing to learn. N’Obama isn’t willing to learn; he doesn’t even know what he believes in…except for his bloated ego. Pay attention to the language. N’Obama has learned how to use it well and how to manipulate you to have you think he’s offering you the dream of a lifetime. Listen closely…how is he offering to make that dream a reality? What’s the substance of that dream? Is it from a hidden agenda (N’Obama) or from conviction of the heart (McCain/Palin)? Listen. Listen closely.

Impressive, but is there a democrat comparison between her and Obama? Comparing fluff with fluff and criticism with criticism would give me a better warm-and-fuzzy on supporting her without reservation.

Great comparison! Between that and the speeches last night at the convention (my first time watching the conventions), it’s McCain-Palin for me. The trash that is being written about Palin by the media and democrats is disgusting. I never thought the party would stoop this low.

Nicely done! Sarah was the perfect choice and I can’t wait to vote for her!! I hope millions of people see this website!

What a breath of fresh air stirring up the “old politics” and making those in government accountable. Palin is exactly what we need. Women should be excited and proud to have someone showing the strength it takes
to be such an exuberant leader. You go girl and thank you.
Our prayers are with you and your family.

How good to be able to read all this in one package. Great job! Let’s hope folks will open their eyes!

I was disinfranchized during the primary because of John Edwards leaving the race. I’ve been a stanch Democrate for 41 years (my entire voting life) and last week I re-registered as an Independent. I don’t agree with all of Sarah Palin’s ideals and I didn’t want to vote for John McCain, however-Mr Obama is an ungrateful soilded nasty peice of work that has disrespected his Grandmother. His Mothers Mother appears to have contributed significantly his support and rearing and he has all but called her a racists. I do not trust this man, he appears an arragont spoiled brat that expects everyone to believe him based on
that phoney charm he attempts to put out. I do not understand why the press seems so enchanted with him and cannot present the honest truth about ALL the candidates.
It sickens me to see the political nature of this country become such a stupid game and watch the American public be
hoodwinked by such shabby players. Surely this is not America’s best and brightest. Is this about winning an elections (popularity) or administrating the government of one of the greatest countries on earth (ability)?

John and Sarah will pull this country out of the hands of Socialism/ Communism and give the nation a clean outlook at the future again. Obama showed his ignorance with his pick of VP and his willingness to conquer the country to save all the depressed people of the world because those people refuse to help themselves. Obama, go back where you came from, they need you worse than we do….and stay there. Take the rest of your kind of liberals with you. The hatred in the eyes of your wife tells it all. You both hate America and now you will have good reason. GO HOME, STAY HOME!

I am so excited I love them both…..
DREAM TEAM……a match made in heaven…
God Bless them both
What can I do to help……
Americans…..
Maureen

Hi everyone.

I could pick this thing apart, but have the common sense enough to do my own research and not believe the (biased) research of this plainly republican individual who put this chart together. What amazes me more is the people that read this an comment how great the chart is. I guess when you have clearly the same biased point of view as the author of this article, you are going to think it’s great. I am left leaning, but have the commons sense to realize the real differences between the two. Great minds think alike, or in this case ignorant minds think alike.

I concur…Go Sarah!! However, when our side makes our arguments, we should avoid strawman-types of arguments/wording.

It is so disappointing that the only counterpoint of any substance being made on this post is that Obama has a better education, never mind about real-world experience, he went to (silence please) Harvard! It is specifically that elitist attitude that really ticks off the American Public, especially the career women out there who are consistently passed over by those types of men. It is that egotistical behavior that is bringing this country down. If they really wanted to “share the wealth”, then everyone would have a Harvard education. Since they’ve never had a callous on their hand, I guess it is just taken for granted that the “trash” will automatically be forever indebted to them and their great academic feats (activism and fund-raising). Oh, Lord, please give us a break!

When we heard Sarah’s speech in Dayton we cheered. Finally what we need in a politician. We need more like her. She is a breath of fresh air in the political arena. Go Sarah, stick by what you believe in and don’t let the liberals try to destroy you. We believe in all you believe in. God Bless You

If Obama was such a uniter then why didn’t he start with his own party? The Biden choice certainly did nothing to unite.
Palin runs the largest state in the union. It’s population is similar to that of Delaware–Biden’s state. It has many unique problems and she’s been able to handle it with ease. She has many enemies there-especially Republicans because of the upsets that she engineered. A feminist should be able to appreciate what she’s doing there fighting the “good old boy” network.
Geraldine Ferraro, at least can appreciate it. Ferraro gave an enthusiastic response to the announcement of Palin as the candidate for Vice President, saying “But without Hillary being the nominee it’s really quite equally as important because people are looking for a smart campaign and I think this might do it.
There are a lot of women who are disaffected by how Hillary was treated by the media, by how she was treated by the Obama campaign, by how she was treated by the Democratic National Committee — [Democratic party chairman] Howard Dean not speaking up when sexism raised its ugly head in the media. They’ll be looking to see what happens now.”

Oooops! We Demopublicanocrats seem to be believing our own poopy. Besides the magic words “experience” and “executive”, I would like to inject the possible topic that we are all repeated ingesting and revomiting hate filled non-information with fingers in our ears to preserve our individual precarious views of how we fit into the Universe. (I am certain that God loves me best and will select my candidate because of their stand on who gets to decide about baby zygotes). God bless America.

WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU SAYING? Issues like who exercises more and the fact that her state borders two countries is really worth that much merit??? California borders Mexico and many the northern states border Canada but her state borders two countries so lets make a big deal about it. Seriously why don’t you take into consideration what this woman’s opinion on all the important things like HEALTH CARE, CIVIL RIGHTS, THE ENVIRONMENT (so she set up a sub-cabinet, what does that do if shes still going to promote drilling in her state?), EDUCATION, HOMELAND SECURITY, POVERTY, AND WOMENS RIGHTS? You do realize just because she is a woman does not automatically make her a proponent of the issues many women fight for? If you’re looking at this site (which is RIDICULOUSLY BIASED), don’t be misguided by PETTY ISSUES.

THE DEMOCRAT GOT SO ANGRY, THEY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND A PERSON AS VICE PRESIDENT CANDIDATE THAT IS TEN TIMES BETTER THAT THEIR CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT AND TEN TIMES BETTER THAT MRS. HILLARY CLINTON THAT THE ONLY AWARD SHE CAN CLAIM IS FOR BEING A “SILENT WIFE”
THE ONLY DEMOCRATS CAN DO IS TO START THE DIRTY POLITICAL ATTACK.
BY THE WAY, WHAT OBAMA VICEPRESIDENT CANDIDATE WAS TALKING IN PUBLIC ABOUT OBAMA AND WHAT HE TALK NOW?
I THINK OBAMA AND HIS VP, LIKE MRS. CLINTON ONLY LOOK FOR PERSONAL CONVINIENCES.

Absolutely eye-openin! Too bad there are so many who suffer from a lack of prescription eye wear! I read everything I could on Palin when I heard the announcement. My initial reaction was, “We finally have a woman with a masculine backbone and a mind of her own!” She apparently is - like McCain - “her own woman!” Bravo for wonderful research and the desire to share it! Many thanks!

i left a comment yesterday and i guess it had too much truth to it….it was pulled from this site.

i was going to vote for McCain but Palin made me change my mind. you have to be absolutely mindless to vote this woman into office~

John McCain…. you should have chosen Lieberman. (Like you wanted to)

Since when did the United States start to share a border with Russia?

THANK GOD FOR THIS CHRISTIAN HUMAN BEING. WHO CARES ABOUT A LAW DEGREE??? WE NEED HONEST HUMAN BEINGS THAT ARE GOD FEARING AND CARE ABOUT AMERICA AND AMERICAN PEOPLE.
GO JOHN MCCAIN AND SARAH PALIN.

you go girl!!!!!!!!! i haven’t voted in yrs but i will be on my way to the polls this yr. praying for you both in ga.

I find this article to me absolutely unfair to both candidates. Where did you liberals buy your journalism degrees?

If Obama is elected it will be a disaster. How can you democtats think he will be great? He has no true interest in America, he’s just selfish and totaly wrapped up in himself. I mean, he actually said, “When you go to vote, a light will shine down apon you, and you will experience an epiphany, and you will say to yourself I have to vote for Barrak!” Please! He doesnt have anything really that he believes in, just whatever his supporters like right then. if they change, then he changes and denies ever having done anything worng or different. He abslutly cannot talk if he doesn’t have a teleprompter, becasue he’s not REAL, and doesnt have any solid thoughts of his own. (that’s why McCain whipped his butt in their debate) he is a wonderful speaker when he has everything that someone else wrote out for him right there for him to read, though. wow, Obama can read! Lets vote him president! =D

Sarah Palin, you’re awesome! You know, her daughter Bristol could have aborted her baby and no one would ever have known…..the fact that she DIDN’T, and the family is supporting her, shows great courage and standing up for what they believe in.

Go Palin/McCain!

Go Palin/McCain!!!

James Edmonson: if your politcal savvy is anything like your spelling, then you are indeed an idiot.

John McCain’s foreign policy experience is that he was poked with a stick in a bamboo cage for 5 and half years, big deal.

You forgot one. Sarahs husband only allegedly got a Misd DUI over 2 decades ago. While more recently Barrack Hussein Osama was slinging and smoking his crack cocaine +.

This is really funny. I am a woman of biracial ethnicity, the same as Obama, it’s unfortuante the this presidential race will come down to race.

If you base your support on race, take a look at what Black American have contributed over the years.

If my son was born with nureoligical issues, because and i’m a racist, if i has the opportunity to take him to see Dr. Ben Carson, bet your A$$ i would..

Think people love your future and your children’s futre more than you hate a person because of the color of his skin.

We are all Americans.

A real live American girl, a straight talker, a woman of the last frontier, and she has the ass kissing Democrats scared out of their little minds! Obama is not only an empty suit, but compaired to her, an empty head!

What about how we treat gays. They are still the subject we don`t like to discuss. They are still the people we discriminate against more than any others. They fight for our country, they work hard and they don`t deserve the treatment that they get. They should have equal rights and the same things that all citizens have because they are human beings living in the United States following their laws and helping to make this country what it is today. This is a disgrace. We are the Land of The Free and the Home of The Brave…aren`t we?

Interestingly, Obama would not qualify to becaome a law enforcement officer due to his controlled substance abuse and would need a special waiver to join the military, yet, has the audacity to pursue the job of Commander-in Chief and President (Chief Executive Officer of the USA who appoints the nations TOP COP- U.S. Attorney General)

Perhaps a full scale grid with all FOUR candidates, their pros and cons, would satisfy those who didn’t do the research themselves. I personally, cannot WAIT to hear Sarah palin speak this evening! Let’s at least give her a chance to speak her mind (as Ruday Guliani said this morning on GMA) before giving her the shaft! - Way to go, John - and You Go Girl, Sarah!

Why isn’t McCain all over the earmarks for Mrs. Obama’s hospital! A clear conflict of interest and this the first time I’ve heard about it!

What really fries me are the sexist efforts to smear Sara Palin…. at any cost. There is even one group offering prizes to the best photo-shopped pictures depicting her sans clothing. Apparently, they will be “leaked” to the “press” and anonymously circulated on the internet for maximum effect.
Would they do the same for Obama? or Biden? or McCain?
The Dems are scared to death of her.
AND, I’m as proud of her as I can be!

My goodness this was extremely enlightening! If anyone ever had an issue with a woman being President, I feel This lady would be the best canadate!

Enlightening? Not! Entertaining - yes! John McCain does not have EXECUTIVE experience either.

But let’s take two specifics from your list - Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard and the A-Word Abortion.

Maj. Gen. Craig Campbell, adjutant general of the Alaska National Guard, considers Palin “extremely responsive and smart” and says she is in charge when it comes to in-state services, such as emergencies and natural disasters where the National Guard is the first responder.
But, in an interview with The Associated Press he said he and Palin play no role in national defense activities, even when they involve the Alaska National Guard. The entire operation is under federal control, and the governor is not briefed on situations.

Abortion - hmmm. Republicans are definitely anti-abortion and anti-choice, but they are NOT pro-life! Otherwise, they would support legislation for health care, education, and funding for special needs children in schools. Gov. Palin was fortunate to have health care insurance provided by the State of Alaska and by BP, her husband’s employer, which paid for her child’s health care costs. Well, if only other women had those options.

What is wrong with you people? None of these candidates are bad people for God’s sake. They all have some positives. None of you talk specifically about issues. McCain is against troop withdrawal. He is proposing tax breaks for the top 5% of Americans. He opposes the teaching of sex ed. He will not increase funding for education. He changes his mind on everything else every week (Bush tax cuts, etc). Palin opposes abortion completely even in the case of rape, etc. She would like to outlaw it completely. She is for drilling in AK, McCain is not. She voted for the “bridge to nowhere” but is now against it. She wants creationism taught along with evolution (I am catholic but that is nuts)! She has cut the budget in AK for schools, refused to use the states surpluss for a new library that was very needed. I could go on and on. Obama is for restoring our name around the country and rebuilding alliances. He proposes a 20 billion dollar stimulus package and despite the lies from the other side would put more money in tax breaks for the middle class than McCain. The Dem’s problem is that they have great ideas and want to help everyone. Bush blew the huge surplus handed to him by Clinton and ran up a 500 billion dollar deficit. All of these programs would cost to much. However, they mayonly get a few big ideas through and that is okay. They at least have ideas. I defy all of you McCain/Palin supporters to provide us with McCains economic policies or plan. In fact, tell me what McCain wants to do pro-actively for America w/o mentioning Obama or national security. National security is very important but these guys are not running for defense minister!

Hey Obama supporters-Have you noticed that none of these Palin lovers can S-P-E-L-L!!!!!!!! Whats up w/that!

my friend that is a biased comparison. Palin was chosen as a political move..cos mccain needs someone young and fresh to continue his legacy. so when it comes to experience..just shut up, cos she has none. and you wait to see how her current investigation about her bribery and corruption case comes out..jsut wait and see what kind of person u are voting for. Most of u evangelicals so simply KEEP out of politics , u are worst than a hypocrite. if u vote palin and mccain..america will be in a cesspool of economic depression as mccain will continue bushes legacy. blame yourselves..only yourselves.uneducated beings.

Also,
Obama has no history of drug abuse at all! I defy any of you liars to prove otherwise. Morally, McCain has admitted to more than one affair and Palin can stop her kids from getting knocked up as teenagers but she opposes the use of contraception for teens.

I just finished watching her speech….WAY, WAY, OVER THE TOP! Not only does she have a sense of humor, she GETS it! Cleanup and kick butt, Sarah!

There’s an awful lot missing from the chart; excess on Palin side, and way too little on Obama side - clearly, this isn’t a balanced comparison, but a biased comparison - the author is definitely a Republican…..

Did I hear “a little sarcasm” in the parts of the speech I heard from her today? Or was it more like that, that I “only heard sarcasm”?
Gosh, is Palin going to tell us if we vote for Obama we’re all going to hell? This woman wanted to ban certain books in Alaskan libraries and get ‘creationism’ taught in public school - is she a politician or a preacher? Come down off the cross…we can use the wood. Amen.

I am a very concerned citizan as to the real validity of the birth place of …

Go to http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html to see an excellent article on Obama’s Birth Certificate. He is a US citizen. Get over it. Accept it.

Republicans seem to be so full of fear. Obama, taxes, aliens, truth… I don’t understand it. Especially after 8 years of attacks on our Constitution from within! That is something to fear!

I like the Obama Laundry List of lies in the bookmark url links at the bottom. I think this whole campaign is a joke a beauty pageant winner, who likes to slander. A man who will not only get us out of war, but constantly talks about it,as if it is some great achievement at every chance. At least Obama is talking not threating. All pity choked by custom of fell dead.

I have never seen so much cow manure in my life and I live in Texas.

Palin has what it takes, no matter what, women wanting abortions will fine a way they always have. To be in the 21 century choice is the only way. Get over this pety BS.
Running our USA needs truth. great spelling does not run the USA. Experience and the willness to stand up does. BHO was not even realy raised in the USA. I for one would like to know why he does not what his passport travels made known to us. What does he have to hide, I would also want to know were all his funds are coming from, not taking federal money gives him the chance to hide to many questions we need the answers. Should we start learning Iranie? muslum ? or Iraqie bad spelling..you get the idea.

Um….. without putting tooooo fine a point on it, Obama has admitted doing cocaine (he used the word “blow” to sound “cool”) in his book and during several interviews and speeches. I saw and heard one of those admissions myself.
SARA FOR vice PRESIDENT!

WOW!!!! This Lady has changed the whole process. I see now it has become a Palin - Obama race. This lady is strong and does not back up. They wanted to see a scared shaky female step up, instead they got the shock of their lives as this strong, straight shooting Lady stepped up and started speaking. Her best shot was; Whats the difference between a hockey mom and a bull dog? Lipstick. That let them know right then she was like a bull dog and would not back up. She’s ready for the fight. Go Lady, were rootin for ya in Oklahoma. Out of all I have conversed with, 1 out of a hundred are voting for Osama, uh, I mean Obama.

Wow, this list is OBVIOUSLY weighted on making Palin look like a perfect angel. Wake up republicans!!! You’re being taken for a bumpy ride!!!

How interesting that you already have Sarah Palin in charge of this country. You have made look as though Sarah Palin not John McCain is running against Obama. I see nothing here but what this particular writer wants you to see. More weird and wacky politics from the Republicans. Maybe if Palin drops out Big Bird could be McCains running mate. If 6 and under could vote they’d be sure to win.

Did they leave out education part?

Palin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of Idaho, and minored in Political Science. Obama attended Occidental College, earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, and went on to earn his law degree (Magna cum laude) from Harvard Law School, and was the first african-american to serve as president of the Harvard Law Review.

lets get real she is a communications major? I wouldnt add this information if I was a republican either

Well…

At least Obama doesn’t support keeping teenagers in the dark about contraception, STDs and safer sex AND has an underage knocked up daughter now. And do I have to say “trooper gate”? And I guess running a village of 9000 as a mayor will really have prepared her for running the US…

It is so funny that Obama got blasted for his inexperience and now we are presented with this newbie from Alaska? Talk about hypocrisy.

And as to the list: big deal. How about looking at things Obama is great at and Palin isn’t (shooting hoops, maybe) and then presenting it as the proof that he is better suited for the office…

And oooh, she fired an M4 and there is even proof on youtube. Wow, I guess now I HAVE to vote for her…

[…] For all you Hillary Clinton supporters out there, all I can say is that you have another chance.  The media ruined Hillary’s chances even though she was the more experienced candidate.  Don’t let them do the same thing to Sarah Palin. You and I both know that her credentials speak for themselves. If you dont believe me, click here. […]

All the way, full speed ahead, take no prisoners. VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!!!!!!!

LOVED THE CHART, IT WAS MOSTLY TRUE(MY OPINION), TO THE POINT, EASILY UNDERSTOOD, EVEN FOR A DEMOCRAT. THAT MAY FIND IT PAINFUL TO ADMIT

As impressive as the comparisons were, that still doesn’t make Palin a good candidate over Obama. The facts that she suppports the usages of guns, oil drilling, banning gay marriages and the Iraq War and other things make her sound no different than Bush or McCain. Experience be damned.
The only reason why McCain picked her was that he realized how popular Hillary Clinton was during the nominee campaign this year and wanted to say her voters who were bitter about her losing to Obama.
Palin aside though, let’s face the honest truth: several of the people on these blogs were never going to vote for Obama anyways, regardless of how Palin’s resume looks-In fact you could put Cindy McCain against him and you still wouldn’t pick him over her. These were the same type people who voted George Bush back in for a second term over a much more intelligent person like John Kerry( Although a dull one).
Sad to say, but should most of America vote for McCain and Palin over Obama and Biden, I won’t be surprised because as much the politicians are to blamed for their bad deeds, the people who stupidly vote them again and again are even more to be blamed. I hope I’m wrong but chances are I’m going be right as to who will be voted in.

I think the Democrats are on the RUN. They never expected someone like Sarah. I think you will see the democrats try to fabricate as much evil as they can to make it as rough, and nasty as possible. They will try to dig up something and release it at the last minute before the election.

There’s a quote from the beliefs from the United Trinity Church that we really all should look at. Since Obama was a member for 20 years, this I’m sure he believed strongly.
“We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian… Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land,” the mother continent, the cradle of civilization.” http://www.tucc.org/about.htm
If all of us followed that kind of doctrine, then we would be loyal to our ancestor’s native lands. Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Germany, China, Japan, Russia, Korea, Mexico etc. Scary!!!!!!
His wife is his biggest influence in his life. She is determined to push black power first over the rest of the population. Together they will set back race relations 100 years.

Rrright aaa on I thought this artical speaks wonders.
How did Americans let this Obama slip by this Far?
maybe the lead in the Paint?
Maybe we have been already taken over by Terrorests
and we don’t know it ?
Boy, I’m glade I’m just a digital PC cind if guy yek yek yek!

You should run for President your the Best person in the world.

NOT!

Tony! your full of Bologna!

Thanks for the great chart = I think you could have included a third column for McCain. I pray that American wakes up and realizes that we won’t have any economy or even a Country if they elect Obama. US MAG WANT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHY HE LOVES HIS WIFE - WOULD’NT YOU IF YOU GOT HER A SALARY BIG ENOUGH TO SUPPORT HIM IF HE DOESN’T WIN?

A great list and I wish everyone in America would read it. You left out that she played in a championship basketball game with an injured ankle and taking drugs for the pain- OK so Obama played in a game too and he was taking drugs. I guess it isn’t so big a deal after all.

Thanks for this ,why dont the news report this on the T.V.

Here’s the line I want you all to start spinning around the Internet.

McCain-Phalin have got the stuff;
Obama-Biden are all puff.

Thanks

of all the comments on this blog, the funniest is from Biff about Obama teaching constitutional law.
Biff, this isn’t a position for a law professor or a constitutional scholar. It is a position for someone who will uphold the constituion, which you, I, or Sarah Palin can read or download, and of course will have legions of advisors. She’s not running for the Supreme Court or for a spot on a judiciary committee. She’s running for VP of the Executive branch, something you may have remembered if you weren’t asleep during civics class, assuming you are even old enough to have had (or remember what it is) a civics class. She’s to be a manager of people and organizations - if she is even president. As a VP, she’ll have ample time to be vetted and develop experience. There’s nothing more vapid or imbecilic than suggesting that Obama’s education (even factoring in the possibility that he wasn’t just an affirmative action baby) trumps hers. Who said that I’d rather be governed by the first 100 names in the Manhattan Phone book than the top graduate of Harvard Law school, or something to that effect? I believe it was William F. Buckley? But of course, to an (east coast) Elitist, especially hypocritical liberals, lineage is everything, so the right college credentials mean a great deal. The woman has proven herself in the field, and apparently graduated with journalism and political science training, so unless she was Lewinski’ing the professors, she has some smarts.

Constitutional law at Columbia. Maybe Barack’ll be asked to serve as an advisor on constitutional law to a McCain Palin administration.

I THINK THAT WAS GREAT GO PALIN.I HOPE YOU GET IT

Thank you for you info. That is why l’m still going to vote for OBAMA.The Messiah will win…..

I cant wait for 2016 when this wonderful woman will be our first female President!!

I love the way all these left-wing pinkos post here with their vaccuous misspellings. I was not very enthused about McCain either, but after hearing Sarah’s speech, I am on board full blast! Mrs. Palin will save us all from a democrat ruination of the country. When McCain takes office, he will surely have her to thank.

As an 18 yr old and a student at one of the most liberal colleges out west (CU Boulder) i would like to tell everyone one thing…MCCAIN PALIN 08!!!!!!!!!

also people keep saying that she is more qualified as vp then barack is as president i think it is more correct to say she is More qualified as president of the united states then barack obama.

Cant wait for the Palin ticket in 2016

I have been a registered Democrat for over 35 years, but I have always voted for the best candidate.

When I learned of John McCain’s selection for VP, I felt that he made a tactical error. However after learning more about Sarah Palin and her family and watching her last evening I found her to be down to earth, honest, hard-working and straight-forward. A one-of-us type politician.

I have not seen a candidate with these qualities, in either party, in decades.

Palin was a wonderful choice and I applaud the GOP for their foresight. She is a solid breath of fresh air.

Also, great chart.

Wow - apparently Palin is running for President? Oh, no? Then why a comparison to Obama? How ’bout a comparison to Biden? Never mind that Obama built a grass roots, faith based organization to help the displaced workers when the steel mills shut down—before he entered college - 400+ staff. Never mind that Obama was the Organizer (read: Executive Director-CEO-CFO) of that same “lil ol club”; never mind that Obama doesn’t take pot shots at people’s character. Just remember in November to vote. Help the electoral college make a decision.

She had a great speech last night, I just don’t under stand why we are comparing her with Barrack. She is the VP and he is running for presidency? We should be comparing McCain-Obama, Palin-Biden correct!!?? Too bad it’s not Palin for President

Great work on the comparison. Its amazing that people will even consider Obama. No experience and hollow as balsa wood. What a tremendous speach by a down to earth woman with her head on straight. McCain/Palin 2008

Spread the word. Pass this on to everyone on your e-mail list. People need to make an educated deceision.
Don’t waste your right to vote!! (((VOTE)))
MCCAIN/PALIN 08!!!

WHO SAID OLDER MEN CAN’T HIT GRAND SLAMS? JOHN MCCAIN JUST DID ,. WHEN HE PICKED SARAH PALIN SHE IS THE EXACT PERSON WE NEED. WHAT AN AMAZING WOMAN, SHE IS JUST A HEART BEAT AWAY FROM BEING COMMANDER AND CHIEF.GOD FORBID THAT SHE HAD TO STEP IN, SHE CAN DO IT.
I KNOW I SLEEP A LOT BETTER KNOWING SHE IS ON OUR SIDE.
IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME IF SHE WENT BIN LADEN HUNTING IN THE CAVES. IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME IF SHE BROUGHT HIM BACK!WOW, WHAT A LADY, HILLARY EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!I HAVE ONLY ONE QUESTION, WHERE HAS SHE BEEN ???????? WAS SHE HELPING MARGARET THACHER?
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER IN THE V.P. SPOT.THANKS TO THE ONE WHO DID THE COMPARISION.
GOD BLESS JOHN AND SARAH!
GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!!
I WOULD MUCH RATHER SEE HER STANDING BESIDE JOHN ,THAN JOE STANDING BY OBAMA, SHE IS JUST SO MUCH LOVIER THAN JOE BIDEN, NOT BEING SEXIST, JUST STATING FACTS.

I don’t know who will be president. I do know that I am sick of dirty journalism, and biased journalism, and I will not tolerate it any more. I am not interested in pit bulls, I am interested in the truth without prejudice. This posting is not it. It is not “Christian”, and we would be much better off if this was done with Christian values.

Sincerely,

Jacquie Thiel

What a breath of fresh ais she is, We need to let the media know we will not stand for bias in reporting and stop subscribing to their liberal views. I think the VP pick was a stroke of genious by McCain. I don’t think she is a PitBull but a Rotwieler/PitBull mix.

SICK EM SARAH

I pray that all who saw this women, Will follow her for She is what AMERICA needs. Someone who will defend us in these times. Someone who is not afraid to speAk up and stand up for we TRUE AMERICANS. For the other party, neither one of the candiates have ever had a hands on thing. Where they had to decide how to really help us as working people. They first filled their pockets and they THEN FILLED promises to their lobbyist, and their big money donors. LET’S GET ON THE BAND WAGON AND GET JOHN & SARA ELECTED. LOVED HER SPEECH
THANK YOU CHUCK STORK

That would be 2012.
Oh, and prescription medicine being equated to Obama’s recreational cocaine abuse is just…. well. ….. priceless!

The messiah will win? You are absolutely correct Mike A. The Messiah will ultimately win.

I didn’t like either one of the candidates for President, but since getting information about both candidates and their running mates, I have made up my mind for whom I will be voting and the ones I will support. I was planning to have a throw-away vote, but I was taking my right to vote. This chart has benefited in helping make my decision.

Who really is the we in “we can believe” i believe the we is the same we in MARTIN LUTHER KINGS speeches. the look on Mrs. Obama’s face when her hubby is speaking- WE got em scared now, we???

I have the pleasure of knowing Sarah (as everyone in Alaska calls her) personally, and she is as down to earth as can be. It’s exciting to see her in the spotlight, but depressing to see people who know nothing about her judging her before they give her a chance. She is one sharp lady! Her family lives in a relatively simply house much like any of us, by the way. She is definitely a person who will fight for the people. I have lived in Wasilla for 27 years and know what a good job she can do. She maintained an open-door policy and spoke freely and courteously to anyone and everyone who wanted to talk to her.

I hope the American people get the chance to know her before condemning her just because she happens to be on the Republican ticket, and that it’s not just partisanship as usual.

You go, girl!

So what do ypu think about Rush or W?

Wow! What an inspiration she is. McCain could not have picked a more qualified, honest and decent person to be his running mate. I am really excited about this race. Who could not be more proud of this country with Palin and McCain in the Whitehouse? God Bless America!

i will vote for her, but why are these facts not put out in the tv ads ? it would make an impact on undecided voters i belive, if there is such a thing as an undecided voter this election

Thanks to the author who really pulled ou the stops!!!
The truth is that Sarah has what it takes to get the job done and McCain could not have found a better partner anywhere to take on that mess in washington. Billions of american dollars going to waste for the people who are suppose to be representing the people . Their job is suppose to be in service to the American public.I only pray the hand of GOD will succeed in this election.
Our American people are really in trouble: 80% overweight, 40 some odd million alcoholics and another 20million plus on Meth and pot.etc,etc. It reminds me of the “chilren of Isarel” were before the 10 commandments. And we still don’t use those!!!

Why was this post deleted?

Any site that has a chart category entitled “Coolest Thing About Spouse” can’t be taken seriously as a real source of information. Also, any site that lists only one candidate’s “list of lies” without a similar listing about the other candidate opens itself up to a healthy dose of skepticism. The internet is supposed to be a tool to help voters inform themselves; it is sad to see it reduced to blatant propaganda and entertainment. Please, voters, read with a critical eye and an active brain. This has a clear bias which detracts from any factual information it might be offering.

Unless, of course, this whole site is a parody. In which case, color me oblivious. If it is a parody, kudos for the category topics - they were hilarious!! As if a thinking voter cares about the candidate’s nicknames or the cool things their spouses have done! Hah!

What a load of crap. It’s the policy these people represent that matters, and both play the same old tune. Big oil, big pharma, money to their buddies, the death of the middle class. wake up.

This is clearly a biased, republican piece of propaganda! Entertaining though!!

great article,Sarah Palin is a true American.McCain could not have picked a better running mate.she got my vote.
the article should be used in the campain.

MESSIAH!! HA! MORE LIKE THE ANTICHRIST.
IF HE BECOMES PRESIDENT, WE ARE ALL IN BIG TROUBLE.

Interesting, your moderator removed my previous post as “Grand Wizard”. It was in JEST my moderator friends, as in humor. The problem I have with Palin is the problem I have with all Evangelical proselytizing politicians. Though her “small-town girl” with “small-town values” shpeel endears her to fellow small-town folk, it simply frightens everyone else living in the 21st century.

Regarding her speech: The task set before her was to solidify the evangelical conservative base in rural red-states. And with those voters, she hit a home run. What she soo miserably failed at accomplishing, given her smug and insolent sarcasm, was to establish ANY credibility with ANY part of America that does not include “small-town folk”. Her utter lack of humility combined with an attitude re. politics that displays a belief that she simply has nothing more to learn with regard to the Presidency and of people in the United States speaks directly to an arrogance and abject naivety to which she proudly wears like a frikin badge of honor.

The most offensive part of her speech was how she attempted to discredit Obama supporters by trivializing their experience, as if they were merely lulled by his candor and eloquence. She tells us not to be fooled, and essentially urges us to STOP LISTENING to him….Hmmm….interesting. Stop listening….like she tells people in her state of Alaska to STOP LISTENING to the experts on global warming and listen instead to the canned studies put forth by the oil industries. Or when she tells the school children in her State of Alaska to STOP LISTENING to sex education because it promotes promiscuity and by no means protect children against acquiring STD’s or attempt to stem the tide of unwanted pregnancies and increasing rates of abortion. Or when she tells the parents to have their children to STOP LISTENING and opt out of courses and books that run counter to their Creationism beliefs. Or when she tells us to STOP LISTENING to our allies and the majority of her fellow Americans when they say that all attempts at Diplomacy must be exhausted before we carpet bomb the hell our of our enemies. Or when she tells her small town to STOP LISTENING and demands that the library remove books that she finds offensive.

You see, if you hadn’t noticed, Evangelical politicians are blinded by their faith, and feel compelled and god-granted in their work to mold the world into their narrow vision of a moral society. I don’t know anyone on either side of the political spectrum that doesn’t feels apprehensive about he notion of teaching Creationism as a Science course in our US public schools…this is but ONE issue Palin supports.

Personally, I admire Palin because she’s an ass-kicking woman who got to where she is because of hard work, intelligence, and shrewd political decision making. What I don’t like about her are her traditional right-wing Evangelical values and how she will go about imposing them onto our Nation and its citizens…and I know there are alot who share in this opinion, so this should be one hellava Presidential election.

Furthermore, re. her speech, PLEASE fact check PLEASE. I appreciate websites like these but DON’T BE AFRAID TO FACT CHECK YOUR OWN CANDIDATE.

Here is one from AP News re. factual “errors” in her speech.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080904/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_fact_check

In a head-to-head contest, which one do you think would be elected if they were both white men?

I can’t help but to be amused by the slanderous, hypocritical and downright deceitful campaign ran by the GOP this year. During the course of this campaign, I will serve to highlight the many political doubletalk points we will see this season.

Today’s story will high light Sarah Palin’s claim that she is being unfairly attacked by the media. The Daily Show did a segment on this and I found it rather interesting and I feel it’s something worth mentioning.

We have Carl Rove inflating her experience of Mayor of a city of 9,000 people in it. What’s amazing is that a few weeks ago, he belittled Tim Kaine who is governor of Virgina (for 3 years), former Lt. Governor, and former Mayor of Richmond Virgina ( a town of (several hundred thousand) In addition, Kaine controls far more military resources than she, presides over an economy that dwarfs Palin’s Alaska and has been tried and tested over and over.

What I find so sickening is their statement that because she is next to Russia that gives her Foreign Policy Experience. SHE HAS NEVER BEEN TO RUSSIA!!! In fact, she got her first passport to travel this year.

If they want to use that as an argument, we can also argue that Linda Lingle, the Governor of Hawaii who has served for 6 years now has more executive experience. In fact we can also tout the Foreign Policy Experience clause of the Republicans and state that Lingle has more than Palin because her state is close to North Korea, China, Russia, and many other countries in the Pacific. But we’re not going to go there, because that point is simply ridiculous.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Governor_of_Hawaii

Then we have the Teenage pregnancy issue:

Bill O of Fix News, advocates the family’s privacy and says we should respect Palin’s daughter. Yet he belittled Brittney Spear’s sister and says we should blame the family.

Then we have the sexist issue:

Sean Hannity, Dick Morris, and McCain’s Senior Campaign Advisor, that ulgy bitch Nancy (however you spell her last name), blasted Hillary Clinton about playing the victim and crying every time the media asks her tough questions.

On the flip side of the coin, they are now claiming that the “liberal media” is being sexist when they ask Palin Tough questions. This bullshit is unbelievable!!!!

What is also so striking, is that in March 2008, Palin herself ridiculed Hillary for calling out the media on it’s sexism. Now fast forward to Sept 2008 and Palin is crying foul over the media hammering her. Interesting isn’t it?

I just wonder how many 17 year olds don’t know that when you have sex there is a chance you might get pregnant. I have 2 teenage girls, I took them to church and tried to instill in them the values that I beleive in. They both went to public schools and had sex education classes taught to them. They are both on birth control, I told them not to have sex before they got married I warned them about boys, I pleaded for them to save themselves for marriage, but alas they made the choice to have pre-marital sex. Just as in generations before kids always tend to let their emotions control their actions and do what they want not what you want. I guess that makes a whole lot of parents out there hypocryts because our children don’t do what we tell them to do. I guess if your a liberal then your kids do what you want them to do, but thank God or should I say thank Obama that should they make a mistake they won’t be punished with a child

McCain is hardly fit to be the next president of the United States. He’s a good man and served his country during Vietnam with honor - as did thousands and thousands of others.

Today though, we need to go way beyond the mentality and politics that existed during Vietnam. It’s a new world economy and McCain doesn’t even know how to use a computer. He doesn’t understand the new technology that we need to move beyond our dependence on oil. He wants the United States to perpetually invade and occupy foreign soil for fear that something might happen if we don’t. He wants to isolate ourselves from the rest of the world and continue with a failing domestic economic strategy (which he admits he doesn’t understand), a broken health care system, a useless education system.

Most importantly, he wants to run the country with no plan. Not one issue was discussed in detail during the Republican Convention. Regarding education, McCain simply said that Education is the new civil rights issue. The exact same line was used by Bush in 2000. As McCain would say “That’s not change we can believe in.”

The GOP has discussed zero issues. They are spending their time regurgitating a bunch of rhetoric about the Democratic ticket because they have nothing else to share. They say that Obama only has a speech. But as Obama outlines his policies on the important issues that face this country, the Republican campaign refuses to address any of them. Instead, they try to appeal to emotions of voters by showing video clips of 9/11 and talking trash. Where’s the beef McCain?

Bottom Line: McCain voted with George Bush over 90% of the time last year. So if you want another 8 years of George Bush, vote for McCain. If you want to get your liberties back, stop government interference in personal issues, improve education and health care in America, exploit modern technology and create new jobs and opportunities that will reduce our dependence on foreign oil, then you will vote for Obama/Biden.

If you want the same as the last 8 years, go ahead and vote for McCain. I’d say that we’re pretty safe that the majority of Americans don’t have their heads in the sand. The majority of Americans are intelligent enough to know what is right for this country.

Bring on November. Bring on Obama.

Add this to the comparison

Special perferences received:
Palin none
Obama Beneficiary of changing rules to ensure outcome.

By FOX BUTTERFIELD, SPECIAL TO THE NEW YORK TIMES
Published: February 6, 1990

“Change in Selection System

Mr. Obama was elected after a meeting of the review’s 80 editors that convened Sunday and lasted until early this morning, a participant said.

Until the 1970’s the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

That system came under attack in the 1970’s and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review.”

The Obamacrats have good reason to fear Sarah Palin. To traditional Americans she is “the real deal”. I predict that she will be a superstar in American politics for years to come. Get used to looking at her (that’s certainly easy); she will be the first woman president of the United States someday. Go Sarah !!!

Nobama has to be the BIGGEST BUFFOON in the history of man!! I can NOT BELIEVE how many BUFFOONS are voting for him!! So called “Americans” voting for a terrorist hugger, some who WILL rape us BAD on taxes and the other things that we all KNOW and are to long to list!!!
God BLESS McCain and Palin!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, guys, but not a single Democrat is afraid of her. There’s nothing to be afraid of. :)

WOW!!!! I HAVE BEEN WORKING TIRELESSLY TO KEEP OBAMA MAMA OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE AND NOW THAT McCAIN HAS MADE SUCH A WISE CHOICE FOR A RUNNING MATE….I CAN RELAX A LITTLE AND GET OUT AND VOTE ON ELECTION DAY!!!!
GO JOHN!!!!
GO SARAH!!!!

Include Fox News among the list of Alphabet Media that spew Yellow Journalism. The gross abuse of discretion and deliberate indifference towards responsible journalism redefines freedom of speech of which was not intended to propagate lies and false truths. Women have long been discriminated against when it comes to leadership positions and penetrating the ‘good ole boy’ system as long as ‘we’ practice that all ‘men’ are created equal with inalienable rights. America was founded by both men and women. Women have earned the right to equality when women were finally allowed to vote. Facts speak for themselves when it is apparent that fewer women than men are CEO’s of companies and sit in positions of leadership. Women appear the worst critic of other women rather than the alliance network of loyalty that men practice among themselves. Of which both represent Sexism. The time has come to put a woman in the Whitehouse and women should get out and exercise their right to vote. Partnerships are like good marriages, if this union is the standard at home then should also work in an administration. Sarah Palin and John McCain have my vote.

I feel the press squashing the validity of this co-candidate
quite disconcerting..I have never felt more validated as a female voter as now.

The truth speaks…

listen…..

Michelle’s brother is a basketball coach for Brown University, RI

Palin is gonna leave Obama wail’n!!! :)

It does not matter to me, that Sarah is a women, it’s what she brings in qualifications, her being able to think on her feet unscripted if necessary that gets my vote. Yes I believe it sets her up for 2012 and she has 4 years to gain the knowledge to be fully prepared for the Presidents job. It sounds like some womens comments are womens lib biased, and that is the wrong reason to elect her. elect her on her merit

John Staunton is “A” typical of why we are where we are. Since his liberal minded boobs have taken control in 2006 every thing he blames Bush for is his parties problem. Lets see government 101 says congress shall create all legislature governing the country. The president only can sign or veto all legislature sent to him. The President creates nothing. Congress has the lowest approval rating in history, and John blames Bush. His head like most socialist communists is in the sand, and he doesn’t know it. This country was founded on a capitalists system, which does not take from the rich and give to the poor. The constitution says “NOWHERE” in writing to give social handouts. Socialists/progressives have the snow ball rolling that will create the downfall of the greatest society that the world has ever known/existed, with their apathy, touchy feely self rightous attitudes.

Sad part is if you align both parties in two columns, and list where they stand on all issues spiritually, you will find the dems are for Satan, and the Repubs are for GOD. These are facts. Who backs homosexuals rights, who backs taking GOD out of our daily lives but says Islamic religion needs special favors/times. Who stands on aborting babies. Who is for raising taxes, who doesn’t want us to win in Afganistan or Iraq. and the lis could go on and on, but then John will dismiss these facts won’t you John!!!

Hosted a very exciting –successful McCain / Palin party last evening - and hope more of you will do the same.
Go to http://www.johnmccain.com and become strong grass roots for this Team that are going to take really going to ‘work for us’ in Washington.
No, I do not blame ‘all’ on my President. Look at the Congress/Senate we have!
Have you not said, ‘THANK GOD - we have not been hit since 9.11.01?”
Conviction that Presidents must make and the socialist party - let’s face it - the record of the FAR LEFT LIBERAL who has ‘campaigned’ since taking Jr. Senate of my state - and not worked for the money we have paid for him!
He has NOT been working for me! You lack the character of being my President as well I look at all your associations - and ‘we ARE who we hang out with!!!” And your choice of ‘associations personally – politically and religiously – are not of this ladies personal preferences!
Never underestimate the Power of a Lady!
We multi-task continually. WE DO IT WELL!
It is disgraceful – the Media – assaults on this family.
You have had eyes – they proudly stood were together – a family of love and who welcome this new baby into the world as a Blessing.
Media- have you looked at the ‘thorn’ in your own eye – or family? The boomerang karma may come back to you and your child or grand child.
Sarah – has done far more than the presidential opponent.
LOOK at his voting records. http://obama.senate.gov/votes/
He has made more ‘not voting’ records than voting.
Qualified?
I would say on an average week Sarah has made more decisions in the Governor position than O has done in the Senate through all his time in office!!!
GO – JOHN – really show us you work for me (us) - I respect & believe your qualifications & your Character - as the man I pray to have as President of this Great Country of the USA!
GO-Cindy –thank you for the generosity you have contributed throughout this country & abroad and the family you and John raise!
Go – Sarah – you and your husband and great family are united - the love & stregnth we saw demonstraed was gunuine and YOU ARE QUALIFIED and I vote for you as my Vice President!
We’ll see you on a ticket in the future and also be our First Woman – Commander in Chief of the USA –just as you have been Commander in Chief of your National Guardsman in Alaska!
Your close neighbors – Russia – and Canada – you have far more experience than the oppositions 2 have together!
As a health care professional - your baby will give far more back to you than you give to it. That is the beauty & strong characteristic’s of a Down’s human being. I’ve been far more Blessed by them - than what I gave to them in care!

I also want to add that icing to the cake of your lovefest for all things conservative and Bush, is that people toutingg having the first woman in the white house, are in the same sentence, debasing their whole argument by citing her “good looks” as part of their reasoning. Someone earlier wrote

” To traditional Americans she is “the real deal”. I predict that she will be a superstar in American politics for years to come. Get used to looking at her (that’s certainly easy); she

I mean, come on, are you kidding me? Seriously? This is absolutely abominable.

Turns out good traditional Americans don’t mind having a corrupt politician, with little NATIONAL experience, and a penchant for getting her way at all costs - AS LONG AS SHE’S a GOOD LOOKING WOMAN.

I have never felt sexism in our country as much as I do now. She makes me feel ill.

I pray that our country can find better representation than this woman. What was McCain thinking?

Ya for McCain and Palin. I am now finally excited about this election in Nov. 08. We truely have some God fearing people to vote for, with a good head on their shoulders and it isn’t Obama!

I hope all Democrats vote Republican, what on earth would they want such a person in the white house when we have the chance to have two very intelegent people like McCain and Palin.I Think there is hope for us after all if they are elected. If not we all had better find another country to live.

All ya’ll just saying that because Obama is Black. Ya’ll know he’s going to win and put an end to this war. I’m for Obama all the way and ya’ll OPINIONS don’t matter to me> SAY YES TO OBAMA!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhh…. people who play the Race Card just seem so….. so….. well, uninformed.
I mean, with so many real issues to to be discussed in an intelligent fashion, why devolve to pointing out skin color?
Me, I’ve looked at the position of both sides and I really don’t like the what the Dems offer (and I ran as a Dem in two elections and served as Public Housing Commissioner). I served my country in ‘65 ~ 69, and there are some things I don’t like about the Republicans, either. BUT, the choice of Obama would be a disaster on many levels, while McCaine would be far less harmful. My big hope is for a Sara/Condi ticket in 2012.

Here lies the big difference.

Barack Obama is the dream of the far left liberals. No country, no morals, no military, no guns, no freedom, no religion, government interference, wealth distribution, socialism, minority rule, etc…

Sarah Palin and John McCain are America, they represent everything that Obama is not and everything that true Americans are.

Barack vs Sarah and the experience factor.

Excellent research, I do not know how anyone who is a true follower of Christ can honestly vote for anyone but McCain and Palin instead of adherring to a party line (i.e., Democrate).

Hey Sheldon:

I love your pick for 2012. Can’t get any better than that. Let’s hope the Rep. take the white house in order for that to happen. Otherwise, it is putinamerica for us.

Hey Tina:

I guess you are the type of person that supports Obama–the lazy and illiterate that think the US owes you a job and freebies. He will lose hands down because there are more smarter people than you that will choose MCCain.

I say “SARAH” for President

Under abortion -left out “He supports Infanticide”. Once a baby is born and lives (i.e. the state of Illinois issues a birth and death certificate) and is left to die without medical attention as part of the intended outcome… that is INFANTICIDE.

Gosh, I really hate doing this, but I have to. Contractions are two words blended together and an apostrophe takes the place of the missing letters. IS + NOT = ISN’T.

Hence YOU + ALL = Y’ALL. Not YA’LL. That’s my contribution to the Obama campaign.

Sarah Palin actions speak for what she stands for. Obama speaks about what he stands for. Actions speak louder than words. Sarah Palin is a much more qualified candidate experience, morally, and ethically. McCain is a experienced in military and politics. Vote McCain/Palin 2008!!!

I would like to see this updated with all four candidates, McCain, Palin, Obama & Biden

Total conservative here, wasn’t happy about either choice in this election and would have voted independent but very happy with McCain’s choice.
It is so funny to read these comments from so many liberals about the biased chart and reporting. I guess that they have never watched CNN or read any of the big city newspapers. We conservatives are used to it, we just expect it and have learned that half of what you read isn’t true and the other half is usually someone elses fantasy. So we have to find out for oourselves what is tru.
One thing that is confusing is the comments about the misspelling,I thought that according to the liberal attitude toward education was that there are no wrong answers, no misspelled words, we don’t want to make some one feel bad about themselves and have to actually learn how to spell and be accountable for their own actions.

Go Main and Palin 2008

Oops I mispelled : ourselves- true- McCain I sure hope that I haven’t offended any one!
God Bless America, Please

WAKE UP YOU DEMOCRATES!!!You say bush was not up to par. Hello, he was handed a mess when he took office. Priorities first, WE WERE ATTACKED, you have to take care of that problem BEFORE cleaning up the other mess, we wont need healthcare, S.S., jobs etc. if we are blown away by the terrorist. People are criticising with out walking in his shoes. You can only do so much in the time given.

Hats off to McCain who knows where to find resourses to take care of business. What a breath of fresh air he provided with Sarah, talks straight and aims to fight for our country. Not what is good for her pocket. She is honest, upfront and doesnot play these childish games. Yes, Obama knows how to speak to impress you, but you have to be SMARTER and look at the big picture for our children. Obama does not appear to know how to compromise. He carries himself as my way or no way. Big ego problem. By the way, I wish people would get off this issue of color, its a cop-out because they dont have anything intellegent to say. Color does not matter.

I do feel Obama is afraid of Sarah, she has a good head and reasoning. I am also tired of the media sounding mostly democratic. Shame on you for sounding so shallow.

Dont look at the surface, take responsibility, look deeper, and stand up for the good of our country and children. See what the rest of us see!!!

McCain/Palin

With Sarah, as a patriotic american we are going to death together.

AWESOME.

Keep exposing the truth that Obama supporters seem to be ignoring.

“Because a little HOPE will stop the terrorists.” Yeah right.

If I ever had a problem…I’d want military man McCain and NRA member Palin in my corner, rather than Obama who would talk about hope and change…and then we’d get killed. hahahaha

GO MCCAIN AND PALIN!

Just wanted to add my parents, long-time Alaskans, sat one row behind Palin and her husband on an Alaska Airlines flight from Fairbanks to Anchorage last month. She spoke with them and hugged my mom. My parents said she was very gracious and down-to earth. I wonder if Obama and his family fly coach?

Also,to your chart, I would add the following to Obama’s side (the source is an article, “Explaining the Riddle” in the August 23-29 issue of The Economist):
1. Obama runs on a reform platform but has never pursued a reformist agenda. He won his IL state senator seat when his rival, Alice Palmer, was disqualified because he challenged her signatures.
2. Although he criticized Palin in a recent Indiana speech for not being a “true reformist” and called into question her commitment to fight corruption in Alaska, Obama SUPPORTED a “rash of pork projects” TO INCLUDE the infamous Alaskan “bridge to nowhere”!! (The same one Palin denounced as governor.)
3. Obama has close ties to (now jailed) Chicago real-estate magnate Tony Rezko who “made his career doing favors for politicians who could open the door to real-estate contracts.” Rezko gave Obama $250K over his career and bought a lot of land next to Obama’s home.
3. Obama is the first presidential candidate ever to reject public funds for the general election. (He used his star power to raise funds for Hope Fund– a political action committee– then disbursed $300K to democrats who might otherwise be useful to his election bid.)
4. According to the National Journal, Obama is the MOST LIBERAL senator in 2007.
5. Obama wants to focus on the economy and redirect the war effort from Iraq to Afghanistan. “Paradoxically, the success of the ’surge’ in Baghdad, which [Obama] adamantly opposed, makes it more likely that he will be able to deliver on one of his central promises, to shift the focus of the ‘war on terror’ from Iraq to Afghanistan and its lawless border with Pakistan.”
6. For those who are concerned with the budget deficit, it will be no better if Obama becomes president: “His combination of expanded government activism and middle-class tax cuts will exacerbate one of America’s biggest structural problems, its horrific budget deficit.”

I am not an Obama basher. I do not believe he is a terrorist, and I do not buy into all the extreme views purported by haters of either candidate. The fact remains, however, that the US media is VERY subjective and has been very unfair to Palin, lavishing praise on Obama (while skipping over the aforementioned revelations and his past drug use) and ignoring any of Palin’s accomplishments. (Unfortunately, many young people are influenced by the opinion of celebrities for Obama or get their news from sources such as “US Weekly” which just featured Palin on its latest cover accompanied by a biased and ill-informed article in which the author bashes her for what her daughter’s 18-year-old fiancee had written on his my-space page! This is news? Pathetic.) (I tried to write a letter to the “US Weekly” editor but was unable to find the e-mail address. They probably wouldn’t print it, anyway.)

The problem with these blogs is that most of the people reading them are Republicans– not the undecided voters who really could use the information to make an informed decision come November. How do we get their attention?

We are blessed to have Sarah Palin running for the Vice President. My husband and I are trying to make all co workers, family and friends aware of Sarah Palin’s belief’s as a christian. She is a breath of fresh air for Washington!Hopefully as christians we can all do our part in letting others know in a loving way what we are up againt in this election.

GEE!!! After reading all these comments, maybe we should make her a Saint….

Sarah represents ALL women of the USA. She is a mom, grandma and wife who can multitask and DO IT WELL! Sarah Palin is an educated, gifted, spiritual and talented human being! She will get our female voters attention (she certainly got mine!) and is getting a bad wrap for being “HUMAN!” She is HUMAN and down to earth like you and me and that’s what makes her so appealing and this why she’ll get the votes! Who’s family doesn’t have dysfunction in it somewhere? People who bash her are only afraid of the power she has over this country!! McCain/Palin will prevail! I’d rather see an experienced, family oriented person with values in office than an inexperienced liberal with empty promises who’s obviously at a loss for words! GO MCCAIN/PALIN!!!!!!

As a post-abortive woman with deep regrets about the life I paid to end, I know first-hand the effects a “choice” can have on a young woman’s life. My daughter would be turning 12 this fall and I can’t let her be forgotten. I will NEVER vote for someone who thinks it’s okay to end a beautiful, innocent human life. What makes me even more sad about Obama’s position is that if he would look into the history and background of abortion, Margaret Sanger who helped start Planned Parenthood is quoted as very openly stating that abortion could and SHOULD be used as a means of minority population control - she wanted to target the killing of black babies!!! I’m voting McCain/Palin in memory of my daughter, Natalie, and the rest of the babies (black, white, and otherwise) who went to Heaven too soon because politicians with no personal experience in the realm of crisis pregnancy decided it was a good idea to legalize a medical procedure that would ultimately only make a bad situation worse for a woman/girl in trouble.

Wow ! There are so many gullible readers on here, who have swallowed the whole chart without checking any of the entries. And, it so so obviously slanted in favour of Ms. Perfect, by leaving out most accomplishments achieved by Barack Obama.
First, you swallow and follow George Bush into Iraq because he tricked you into believing that Iraq was tied to 9/11.
Now, you are going to fall head over heels for this newcomer, no questions asked!
Way to go U.S.A>

My husband and I are so pleased with Sen McCain and with Gov. Palin. They are so far ahead of their opponents with regards to character, personal accomplishments, personal gifts, etc. The Democrat candidates are not in the same league. I don’t see how any thinking person who looks at their stands on the issues can pobbibly entertain the idea of voting for the Dem. ticket. Obama really frightens me; our country will be a disaster if he is elected. Anyone who votes for him deserves everything we will experience.

1) Excellent post Shmarack, Sept 5, 2:50 p.m. 2) I agree with some of the positions/policies of McCain and some of Obama. I also disagree with some of the positions/policies of both of them. Tough decision…. except that evangelicals and those who kiss their asses scare the crap out of me. These nutjobs are trying to both run and ruin this country. The number one issue, out of all the issues out there in this election, is the constitutionally required separation of church and state. I was considering voting for McCain, as long as he didn’t pick Mike Huckanut for V.P. Well, he didn’t, but then he went and picked a female version of the same.

LOVE THAT FINALLY A WOMEN LIKE ME AN EVERY DAY DOWN TO EARTH
WOMEN IS REPRESENTING US LOVE IT HOPE SHE WINS IT,SHE ALREADY WON MY HEART

This is such a subjective, manipulated chart it’s insane you even wasted your time doing it, convincing yourself and others -who don’t even check for legitimacy- of a lie. US media politics are rotten and your capacity for comparison can be equal to that of a gold fish.
Be fair, for god’s sake.

Yes, this woman is much more qualified than Obama is. Obama spent all day yesterday, putting sarah palin down and when you do that, it shows you are worried…She has more executive experience than obama or biden and from what I understand, she has also had dealings with Canada, Korea and I think Japan or Russia. She also doesnt only talk about providing americans with more oil, she had a 30 miles pipe line….Shes not just words; shes ACTION!!! And actions speak louder than words!!!!

Plus, she has been a mayor, a Governor and is the mother of a handicapped child, so she is going to relate to millions of parents in a way obama never will. And having a child who is with child, is only going to make her relate to parents who have troubled children. And, her child did not murder her child by having an abortion and she has given Bristol her full support….She also did not try to hide this news from the public like I think Obama has hidden alot of things….I still dont know who he is…

Wilf,
Thank goodness someone actually knows about the many Obama accomplishments! You are a breath of fresh air!
Now, please relate how, and in what unit, he served his country? How many medals did he earn?
How many paychecks has he signed to pay his factory’s workers?
How many union members are in his family?
Show us who paid for his and his wife’s education?
Surely, he must demonstrate his confidence in the Teacher’s Union and sends his kids to Public School? (I’m sure they will do so in Washington, DC, too!)
Show us the wonderful reasons he lets his brother rot in an African shanty instead of helping out with a few bucks from his millions. (Probably a rotten Right Wing e-wall thrown up to prevent him from sending the money)
Obama has big plans and bigger change on his mind than anyone! His speeches are mesmerizing! His followers are almost frantic in their devotion at the big stadium rallies! He uses the internet like no one before to get his messages out! The youth are particularly enamored of his personality…. what he says isn’t important, it’s the way he says it! For sure, we ought to tax those rich bastards who take away everything from the working people! Heck, throw them into a special camp and make them really work for a change! Gas them if they won’t take the work!
…..
Somehow, this all seems strangely reminiscent of another campaign……
Not in America…. but somewhere else….
Ah, but who cares!
Obama, Our Leader, will bring about change!
Hail Obama!

Sara is real and provides hope for the average person. This woman will turn government around with the support of millions of U.S. Citizens. I am excited about her ability and look foreward to results.

It would be interesting to compare VP candidate’s ‘qualifications’ over the past few presidential elections - both Dems and Reps. I don’t think the lists would be too impressive, or else they’d be the ones selecting VP running mates. Still, Palin is a very impressive choie to ponder….

“GEE!!! After reading all these comments, maybe we should make her a Saint….”

Saint Sarah? Maybe. I can swallow that a lot easier than Obama as the Second Coming. That video made me want to break out my New Testament and see if the anti-Christ’s middle name is Hussein. {{{{shudder}}}} “… and behold, the false prophet spoke to the multitudes and said “who is like the Beast… and God D____ AMERICA!” LOL!

The comment by wilf on September 6, 2008 said and I quote “it is so obviously slanted in favour of Ms. Perfect
by leaving out most accomplishments achieved by Barack Obama”. However, everytime I hear someone say this they can never give me ONE example of his MANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Even wilf could not give us an example. Maybe wilf you are the one who is gullible and who has swallowed
Obama’s speaches as thou talk means change. Haven’t you heard ACTIONS speak louder than works. I guess you will be happy with Obama voting present in the White House …….. wait that is not an option as President of the United States only U.S. Senators can vote present…………….
U.S. Presidents must make decisions something Obama does not know anything about and has no expierence in.

For the first time in my life i am voying republican. And I am 66 years old.

my mistake. I meant voting!!

Sooner or later I will get this right. I am voting republican for my first time and I am 66 years old.

I have intended to vote the McCain ticket all along; and I think Sarah Palin is more qualified than either Obama or Biden. However, this comparison is worded so blatently in Palin’s favor that the people we are trying to convince will just turn off and try to find facts somewhere else. I think you have your facts right, but I think you need to tone down the rhetoric.

You forgot to mention, for Sarah Palin’s previous experience, that she was chairwoman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission from 2003 to 2004 while also serving as Ethics Supervisor of the commission, where she proved to be a corruption-buster.

This comparrison is really good. But Governor Palin is not running against Senator Obama, Senator McCain is. Do you have the same kind of comparison between McCain & Obama??

I hope every positive comment results in one (or more) votes. Remember, we have the Chicago Machine backing their candidate and that means we have to overcome 3 or more votes per voter.
Get the vote out in November. We cannot depend on the opposition to oversleep or forget to vote on Election Day, as the norm will not work this time.
How about backing that up with five bucks or more to the McCain/Palin campaign?

The way I see it, Obama went backward when choosing Biden as Vice President. Yes, he is a good choice … he is older, wiser and has the knowlege and background, but Obama will need to lean on Biden for everything! They definitely are not equal in what they can bring to the table!

On the other hand, McCain went forward in choosing Palin as Vice President. Yes, she is an excellent choice … she is younger, wise beyond her years, and has the knowlege and background, AND McCain and Palin will work side-by-side, together for everything! They can bring equal amounts of knowlege to the table. Sarah Palin can be our next President of the United States!

I actually FEEL GOOD about this election & can’t wait to vote!!

In response to a comment made by “wilf on September 6, 2008 @ 10:32 pm:”

I’m a TRUE AMERICAN who will not throw away the American Flag … unlike the Democrats!

Put her record against Joe Biden (apples to apples) or put one ticket against the other. Here you go again screaming that she is salmon, catching, moose hunting, hockey mom of 5 children and one special needs. However, if anyone challenges her on any of those issues, you say they would not challenge a man. You are right, because a man would never run as a dad of 5 and one special needs. I have asked this question and will ask it again. Since she is the poster child for special needs children, how much funding has she allotted as Gov. or as Mayor to support projects for this issue? How about funding for single, teenage mothers? And, what was the deal with her parading around another teenager who fathered her daughters child? What was that to prove? I don’t think the vast majority of mothers would have paraded their their 17 y/o pregnant daughter in front of the world. Especially when you as a mother used your VETO pen to disallow funding for sex education in the schools. I don’t have a problem with you wanting Sarah Palin as your VP, but I do have a problem with you going over-board and using any means necessary to make her credible. I am a a single mother, and I want the same pay for the same work as a man, I want to be able to sue anyone for discriminating against me for my race, gender and the list goes on. Palin does NOT support those issues, so she is not for women’s rights. If she is as you say ‘READY’, she is ready anywhere and with anyone. There should not a be a case where media outlets are being hand picked for her. If hundreds of speeches can’t make Obama ready, one surely does not make her ready. Just be fair. If you are white and Republican, that is your ticket. I am an Independent and would have loved Huckabee and maybe settled for Romney. But, a man that will allow a laborious biography about how he chased his second wife, but forgot to include that he was still married to the first warrants questioning. And I can assure you that the day will come when Bristol Palin will regret being lead around a public stage to be stared at by millions to promote her mother’s career.

well Alan, just goes to show you that she is more qualified to be vice president than obama is to be president!

McCain made a great choice for VP. If his choices are as good when he’s president this country will soar! Gov. Palin is so far ahead of Hilliary it isn’t even funny. She’s smarter, has better morals, and appears to stick to the laws of our land. Delighted to see her stand on abortion and gun control. Always said a woman knows how to take care of her own home before she tries to take care of someone elses. We need someone caring about America first, as America has real, pressing needs that need addressed now.
I believe she’ll help McCain get those needs taken care of.
Can’t believe voters would make someone with NO MILITARY
experience the commander in chief. Thanks for the great comparison. I hope many people read it.

The job descriptions for President and Vice President specifically do not include a particular, or any, religious belief. If you have forgotten, been tricked, or maybe never thought about the extreme danger of allowing evangelicals to make policy, you should start reading - right now!! Read religious histories, stories like The Lottery, drivel written by James Dobson and others, histories of the salam witch trials, history of the reasons why the first american colonists ran in terror and horror from their “faith-based” government, etc., etc., etc. Sane people everywhere, regardless of political party, you must get out in massive numbers to keep the evangelicals out of government!

Ever hear of the movie “Resident Evil”? It just reminds me of the White House if Obama wins. Scary!

From wikipedia:
“Hitler was a decorated veteran of World War I who achieved leadership of the Nazi Party in Weimar Germany. Following his imprisonment after a failed coup, he gained support by promoting nationalism, antisemitism and anti-communism with charismatic oratory and propaganda.”
Mmmm… it reminds me of someone, but not Obama. Oh yeah, McCain!!
Because the US never underwent the Middle Ages you haven’t experienced that one should never mix religion with politics. Never. Otherwise you get Hitler, or popes with extreme power, or… Hell, you get Bin Laden.
So let’s not mix politics and religion.

The chart is great because it reinforces for me and probably others that Obama is really the least experienced of all four in the running. He definite fares “paler than palin.” No Obama, No Bidin, therefore, no Obama bin Biden!

Can’t believe the voters would make anyone without military experience the commander in chief.
It appears that George Bush has been your commander in chief, and he had zero military experience, other than being a draft dodger during the Vietnam war.
And, then he took you to “war” (invasion) in Iraq, and even after those illegal acts, you voted him in for another 4 years.
Seems to prove you dont need to be a war veteran in order to do a poor job as president.
After George Bush, its sort of understandable why so many of you will grasp at any sign of hope for your future leader, even if its a person who just made 1 pretty good speech. If you have seen Paris Hiltons rebuttal to a John McCain ad, you can see that she is just as good a choice as Sarah Palin.

Check your adding on Executive experience–Council member for 4 years and Mayor for 6 years—10 years local service–not 10 years as Mayor.

Pretty sad that the chart lied a lot. The things that are not true that are listed on the chart about Palin are as follows.
A) She has no military exp. because she is in charge of 4000 odd troops in Alaska in case of natural disasters does not qualify her. Only several troops were activated to Iraq and they fall under the command of the Army not her.
B) She asked for money for her pet priject “The bridge to nowhere” and they shot her down.
C) Left office of mayor leaving a dept for the town of 7000, over 18million dollars.
D) No international exp.

Sorry to say just because she is a fresh face doesnt qualify her to help run a country. A very crappy running mate for McCain who is a real hero.

Tut, tut, Wilf…..
You were supposed to enlighten us with Obama’s many accomplishments….. remember?
You weren’t supposed to just throw a bomb and run away. (Only the true Obama insiders, like Bill Ayers, can do that.)
BTW, how have you served your country? Were you in the ANG? Did you fly fighters? Did you lead a squadron? Ever load a weapon? Ever been shot at? Did you put yourself in harms way, no matter how slight, to defend freedom? Or are you a chronic “gimmie” with a loud voice shrieking demands of people who work, serve and pray in America? Someone who has never done anything for his fellow man except demand others pay for your “cause of the day”?

Sure, the ANG was considered “safe” in the 60’s, but I encountered some of them on the DMZ and at other places throughout SEA.

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” These are very good words to live by.
Now, how about that list of those wonderful accomplishments Obama did for his country?

GREAT LIST OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF SARAH PALIN. BEST THING THAT’S HAPPENED IN ALL THE ELECTIONS I’VE BEEN PRIVILEDGED TO SEE—I’M 76 YEARS YOUNG……GO, SARA, GO!

Great stuff! There needs to be a third column showing Joe Biden’s stats as well. After all she is the Republican VP nominee and the world needs to se how Sarah compares to Joe.

Who were the members of the sub-commitee on global warming that Governor Palin chaired? I believe oil execs. That is like the wolves being in charge of guarding the henhouse! Facts are not facts unless the whole story is told so voters can get a correct picture of what each candidate has to offer.

Obama has more than met his match this time. His attributes
will not even come close to Sarah Palin’s. She has the intelligence, ability and experience to be Vice President.
Obama has done nothing of any value that I can see. I keep
seeing that he is an “associate” in this and that Law Firm.
The word Associate has two meanings - one, that he is in some way associated with a Firm without having a Law Degree,
with the other being that he is a graduate of a Law School
(which has not been indicated) and is an Associate partner
in a Law Firm until he has put in the required time of the
Firm, and fulfilled his obligations as required by the
firm. Now, Is he an attorney, or not? It is intimated that
he is, with nothing to back it up. Comparing him with Sarah
Palin is a foolish gesture. She has more experience and
knowledge now, to be PRESIDENT than Obama will have in his
lifetime. Palin’s opponent is a mere hanger-on and BS artist.

Excelent. If Americans don’t see it then they deserve to be doomed for life.

Sarah Palin is the best running mate McCain could have.. Not only is she more qualified than Obama she stands for truth and honesty..As a strong democrat i voted for H. Clinton not Obama..Now my vote is going to McCain-Palin and i hope all you that voted for Hillary will follow my lead and keep Obama out of office..As a resident of Illinois Iam aware of what he can do (all talk) and iam not impressed..For the first time i see it’s not about Democrats or Republicians its about who can make this country strong for the future….Obama does not even respect the American Flag!!! DO YOU????? We will find out on election day..God Bless America..

First of all, why are you comparing Obama to Palin? Why don’t you compare Palin to Biden?? Not much of a comparison is it?? Second of all, theme of “Change and Clean Government” that’s extremely interesting…so what about the abrupt firing of Public Safety Commissioner Monegan (which is currently under investigation)? Is that the type of clean government we can expect? Finally, it takes a lot of nerve to TRY to make earmarks an issue. Alaska under Palin’s leadership has asked Washington for 10 times more money per citizen for pet projects than Obama. Last year, Obama asked for $311 million worth, about $25 for every Illinois resident. Alaska asked this year for earmarks totaling $198 million, about $295 for every Alaska citizen. Palin has cut back on pork project requests, but under her administration, Alaska is still and by far the largest per-capita consumer of federal pet-project spending. The governor did reject plans to build the notorious “Bridge to Nowhere” after Congress had cut off its financing (and still maintained the state’s matching funds for that project). Also, nice qualifications for foreign affairs and military experience. By that standard a lot of people have qualifications to be the next VP.

How can you keep saying leave the race thing out and vot on merrit and accomplishment. How can we leave the race thing out when the blacks make no bones about the fact they are voting for OBama simply because he IS black–not another thing, they don’t care what he has or has not done, just put him in. I think I am pretty qualified to speak because i live in this large farming community ant that is exactly the mentality here, they wouldn’t care if he were sprouting horns as long as he is black–now how can you keep race out of the issues with something like that!! Or is this like everything else, they can yell racist and prejudice, but the whithe race can’t voice an opinion or we are racisist–how onesided this country is. I have not read of one thing this man has done and he surely doesn’t know squat about defence–yes, with all the hatred around the world and after our country has already been under one attack, I would a hundred times over rather have a John Mccain running this country that the likes of someone who doesn’t even have principle or love of country enough to get up and walk out of a building (Church????) after hearing a person yell “God D—” America, I don’t care what he was trying to get across—That was an insult and I LOVE MY Country. He never once ever corrected that crazy man and I can’t begin to imagine what will become of this country if he by some unimaginable horror gets into this office, what a disaster!!!

Go Sarah and John, I think you make a great team. This will be the first time in 65 years I will vote for a republican. Loved the Clintons though.

My daughter sent me this from the states to New Zealand where I now live . I am an American veteran and have voted evry time as my right and I have never ever been so excited about ANY canidates until McCain/Palin came along. We NEED these two in Washington to clean out the establishment and look out for America first and not thmeselves as ALL the past have done. I would never had voted for a woman before as we have a woman prime minister here who has RUINED this country with her self interest and the old boy system, but after watching every one of the conventions on FOX news,I can honestly say McCain has done us proud with his pick. To elect Obama wll ruin America. Anyone that doesn’t pledge alligence to the fag and take the oath on the bible is not a REAL American at all. I will once again be sending my vote to America to have my say. Thank you and God Bless America.

Jim Crain Sr. USAF (retired)

Sorry about my spelling. I meant allegiance to the FLAG. Our “OLD GLORY” we have fought to defend. Thank you jim crain sr.

This is such a one sided article. For example look at what this article claims each canadates stance on energy is. Palin wants to drill in ANWR and have energy independence and Obama wants people to check their trie pressure. Everyone knows that is not his official stance on energy. The writers of this article are taking something he said and totally taking it out of context, and putting a twist on it to make their side stronger. That is the worst sort of argument ever. Also what about the Executive Experience two years as governer of Alaska, and 10 years as mayor, come on now. We all know that will not count for anything. Also what about McCain, (who is the one actually running against Obama) he does not have any excutive experience either. Come on people this article is one sided and not fair. If we really want to get something done we need to quit fighting like this.

I am amazed at the bias - when the media was attacking Palin, Obama defended her and said her child was off limits. Don’t understand the hatred coming from these comments - is it because he is black? I wouldn’t mind having a woman candidate but the Republican party has other women more qualified than Palin. I wish McCain had chosen one of them. If you are comparing - why not compare the candidates for President and the candidates for Vice President - seems like it would make more sense.

I appreciate the comparission… I wish there was more a balance in reporting.. like Nobama can do no wrong??? I wold love for major news sources to do a full report of the Ayers situation… I feel like the wool is defintiely being pulled over our eyes with regards to “the One”

Palin and McCain are a good choice and put together are a dynamite team. People were falling for Obama’s smooth talking speeches and promise of change. I never seen anyone more than Obama who makes his decisions based on what the people want to hear. I couldn’t tell you what he stands for….because he changes it so much. I do know that too much corrupt Chicago connections….too much communist connections. Even when he is confronted that he makes a mistake he will not own up to it. Also we can’t afford to have on the job training in such critial times…and he will make mistakes.
McCain loves his county, gave his life for his country, keeps his word, and admits when makes a mistake. Plus he has the experince to keep us safe. Palin shows a buring fire of cleaning up the wasted money. People who are afraid of Palin having to take over is something happens to McCain, should be more concerned if Obama is elected with much less experience.

Obama may not even be able to run for the Presidency which is why The B(H)illary didn’t shut down her campaign. He has gotten sued in the US 3rd Circuit Court:

http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/2008/08/22/complaint-against-barack-obama-us-district-court-eastern-district-of-pennsylvania-obama-is-not-a-natural-born-citizen/

look further down the page for the actual complaint.

How can Obama run for president when he waws not born in thiscountry????? He was born in a foreign country and is
not qualified to be president of anything.
Palin is so far above Obama in every way, and experence at
all levels prove it. She will be a breath of fresh air
htis country has needed for a long time.

Liberalism is disease. It can be treated.

I have never seen so many scare and smear tactics during a campaign.
What are you republicans afraid of? I don’t think we democrats scare that easily.

I actually intend to listen to both candidates before making my final decision. I would hope that everyone else would do the same and not believe all the slanderous emails that are deluging us. I was told by various Republicans to vote for George Bush in 2000 because he was going to “save us.” We all know how that turned out.

“He will lose hands down because there are more smarter people than you that will choose MCCain.”

Nice grammar Mattie. Obviously you’re a very well educated person. LOL

Just what I was wondering, about Obama being born in this
country. I didn’t think he was but I knew that you had to
be, to run for President. The news media wants to dig up
everything on everyone else but not on Obama. They need to
report some of the stuff on Obama & what his wife has done or not done. Not helping his brother, do you think he is going to help anyone else. I don’t think so. He is the Anti-Christ, the Pied-Piper of our time and people are following right along behind him, because they don’t know any better. Just what the Bible has stated that the people would do, follow along blindly. I pray they wake up before
it’s to late.

I love Palin, but we need to be careful with our own facts coming back to hurt us. We need to edit out that fact that she stopped the bridge to nowhere. This was federal funding that was already under great scrutiny. As a Governor she actually diverted that money to other transportation needs. Other than that all very good!!!

In fairness, the Vice-President is a heartbeat away from being President so Palin’s presidential credentials are extremely important.
That being said, I can’t believe Obama even has a chance to become President considering his extreme lack of accomplishment.

Now hold on there Bermuda,
Obama has many accomplishments to put on his resume.

Why there is ….. uh….,

Well, you know that……. hmmmmm

What I mean is…. about that….. that….

Ummmmm. oh, YES! He helped bring about sex ed for kindergartners! He signed the bill!

Now that’s ACCOMPLISHMENT we can all be proud of!

HAIL, OBAMA!

Why are we coming the Vice Presidency to the Presidency. Yes it is only a heartbeat away but are you counting McCain dead before he even gets the job. Obama does not have the experience.

I meant to write Why are we comparing the Vice Presidency to the Presidency position. Sorry folks!

God have mercy on this Nation!
Thanks for the insightful research.
Go Palin!

This Lady Rocks she has more experience in Government in high administrative positions than Barack has in any thing. I can see why there are attacks from every where against her. She is a “Christian” for real, not just when convenient and has good morals I am also a veteran, the Lady has the veteran vote as far as I am concerned. I do not want any one trying to take away my firearm or to disarm this country in any way we are going to need a strong military to stay ahead in this messed up world. Also any one who is a member of a political party that advocates abortion needs to have their head examined… Go John and Sarah White House here we come…

McCain and his cronies talk about serving a cause greater then yourself but then belittle Obama for doing just that. Just so everyone understands, Barack went to work as a community organizer after recieving his bachelors degree when he was 23. He worked on the streets of Chicago helping those that needed help most. He did it for 3 years before being accepted at Harvard Law school where he ended up graduating top of his class and becoming the first black president of the Harvard Law review. He received his degree in CONSTITUTIONAL LAW!
After that instead of going to work for any Law firm he wanted, he went back to Chicago to help the people he had come to love. All of this before moving into politics.
On the other side of the ticket we have two people that only recieved bachelors degrees. McCain from Annapolis where he graduated 3 from the bottom of his class of 850 people. And Palin who went to 5 schools in 6 years to get a bachelors in Journalism. Oh and by the way, her major professor at the University of Idaho said he didn’t remember her, she didn’t leave any impact on him.
Why is it all the McCain camp can talk about is his Community organizing experience and nobody talks about his education? Why is it that we have stopped valuing an education in this country?

Please wake up people. We need people of integrity, intelligence and a true desire to serve and lead our country. Stop letting the media and the McCain campaign distract you with such obvious BS.

All this back and forth and no one has came up with any good reasons why McCain would make a good president. Remember McCain is running for President, not Palin. And by the way, all Govenors control the National Guard until the military takes charge. Palin didn’t deploy those soilders, the US Military did. As far as the natural gas pipeline, THERE IS NO DAMN PIPELINE PEOPLE! Before you blasting the individuals you dislike and approve of the ones you do, do your research. For whoever made this list, Palin could have all the Executive experience as you say, lol, in the world, but it doesn’t mean a damn thing when your the Vice President. Since alot of individuals on here are so impressed with Sarah Palin, tell to to give a speach where she uses her own words, not the same exact speach that was wriiten for her at the Republican National Convention.

By the way, research the sexist remarks that John McCain makes towards women. This election is sad for the simple fact that most people are going to vote on a popularity contest, rather than the real issues. And for the guy who complains about liberals, check the dictionary out and search the meaning of liberal and conservative. Once your done with that little class assignment, think about which of those two definitions you really want for America.

Americans take a closer look of candidates who wants to fulfill personal achievements to the one who wants to accomplish for others. The talker and the doer. Don’t look at the party because they maybe be in the same party but they are not the same person as candidates. Watch carefully the one which were already accomplished not the promise to be accomplish. The gender is not an issue, the important is the capacity to accomplish the job regardless of how big or small the territory, population and scholastic background. You are tired of Bush and the Republican Party but try again to vote for Republicans for sure not Bush anymore. I bet you will be off for a road to recovery like a wounded soldier.

What a bunch of rednecks you all are. But hey, most of this country is a bunch ignorant rednecks, so maybe if you all pray hard enough, God will take sides and allow SP to actually become the “hot VP”.

Read a book or something.

Spin vs. Intellect… Once one has established that, it’s easy to see who to vote for.

Life is a balance. Liberals and conservatives offset each other; Democrats and Republicans offset each other. The USA is balanced. It is socialism that is the “real” issue. Socialism is only a small step from dictatorship in many cases. The best examples are Germany and Italy before World War II. Obama is bringing us closer to a socialistic government. Wake up before WE THE PEOPLE lose the American Spirit…the greatest achievement of mankind. Study your history.

p.s. socialism does not offset democracy….

No one said Obama didn’t do some good in Chicago. Heck, another inept leader, Benito Mussolini, was reputed to make the trains run on time. Yes, despite their best efforts, some people actually do a bit of good for others. Unfortunately, it’s that little bit of good that kool-aid drinkers swallow.

The reality of Obama is that he’s been in a racist church most of his career, and has strong ties to real bomb throwers and America haters. (They are his friends and supporters, for heaven’s sake!) What has he done to deserve the presidency? Outside of his black separatist world, what has he done?
Volunteer for the Peace Corp?
Join Habitat for Humanity and help build homes for poor people?
Has he ever done anything for his country? Even as a pro bono lawyer?

No, I’m afraid he’s only done for himself, and a few may have been helped by accident.

As for his education, there is an ugly fact involved here that looks to me like the elephant in the living room, as far as the media is concerned.

I, earned my BS attending night school at the U of MD, just inside the DC Beltway. I was a little older than Obama because I had served my 4 years in the military. But, I did meet and study with the cream of government leaders from DC. Affirmative Action was getting it’s start, and I know for a fact that teachers in the med school couldn’t fail a black student. Some of that tradition continues today. Obama was simply nothing more than an Affirmative Action personality. His skin made the school look politically correct. His “academic achievements” were also to make the school look PC.

When Obama went to school, who paid his tuition and living expenses?

Uncle Sam paid mine because of the G.I. Bill. But, who paid his….. and why?

If Obama was a Republican, would you support someone with his “record”. Heck, no! You and I would both be out on the streets looking for John Kennedy somewhere.

And believe me, Obama ain’t no John Kennedy.

Just because we enjoy and support the comparison doesn’t mean we haven’t already done our homework. Most of us are not as ignorant as some of you may think. I have already made up my mind that Mcain/Palin are getting my vote.

She is governor and was previously a mayor? Well, how does that stack up to running an election for two years?!

If you think, this comment is ridiculous, consider that it was made by The One Himself!

This should be sent to O’Riely

I love charts! They tend to “lay it all out” in a comprehensive way. Thanks for posting this!

You forgot to list under Ms. Palin I am a LIAR. Please correct this immediately.

Who other than “ignorant” Repigs believe this crap? I know the answer — no one with intelligence.

You Un-American, disgusting, pathetic roaches.

Obama/Biden 08′ & 12′

Your time is up — it’s over, over, over, over. We are taking our country back from fools such as yourselves. Do us all a favor and move to the great town of Wasilla or whatever you call it. There you can drool all over Ms. Palin because that is exactly where she is going back to. The great state of Alaska — you know across the way from Russia. What a joke for a candidate.

You are an idiot

Your side-by-side comparison is absolutely excellent!

Very well done.

To to the 2 people asking about Obama’s eligibility to run for president since he wasn’t born in this country. The question was asked and answered over a year ago, when he became a candidate. He is clearly, legally, eligible. Why don’t you invest in some research before asking stupid questions?

texasranger –

[barack obama is a socialite and is running for president to be the black race president.if hes elected you wil have to say ‘yes, sir’ and “NO sir” to ALL blacks cause it is their time-yes,we can, walk to close and you’ll get cursed and they say -”it;s out time, honkey, get outta the way!you will see most government programs go to blacks and 840 billion to africa that has a terrorist leader that burned, looted. killed and forced people to vote for him at gunpoint.and other countries.everything will eventually be gov’t controled under him!]

I presume you meant “socialist.” Not exactly an auspicious beginning to your post. After all, we wouldn’t want to alienate the Paris Hilton vote…

By publicly rejecting Jeremiah Wright, Obama has implicitly rejected the (slightly) Lite version of Black Liberation Theology he peddled. Barring *evidence* to the contrary, we must in good faith assume that Obama meant it. Racialist crap — in this particular case, the BLT belief that Jim Crow is all right at long as the abusees are white — has no place in the America we struggle to improve. Nor does the unwarranted attribution of racialist crap, which is itself, in turn, racialist crap. As long as Obama does not advocate this kind of thing, we are in the wrong when we pretend he has.

Unfortunately—–I believe that there are ignorant people who have not left their backyard (just like Palin until last year) who are myopic and cannot even fathom a black president.

mccain is so down to earth that he believes that people who earn 2 million a year is middle-class. A pure politician. The only change that would happen if he were to be elected would be palin changing his adult diapers.

Every single liberal, Democrat, liberal Democrat, and member of the mainstream media says how unqualified Palin is. First of all, those Obama cheerleaders shouldn’t be talking about experience, considering the lack of which Obama has, compared to Palin or not. Second of all, Obama’s talk about how America needs change, and Obama chose a Washington good ol’ boy, and McCain, always a maverick, went with an almost unknown outside of Washington (or the lower 48 for that matter). And, finally, the vice president doesn’t to a whole lot besides act as the president of the Senate (tiebreaker essentially) and be prepared to sit in if $#!* happens. Palin can watch and see how McCain does it, and be ready if and when he becomes incapacitated. If Obama is in office, he’ll raise taxes (liberally, of course) so much so that the hike could trigger a stock market crash, and the richest Americans, however much they may have, will have to give up as much as 60% of their money to the government. That’s right, folks. OVER HALF! And, what’s he gonna use it on? To give it to all the poor people in the country and so everyone can have health insurance. That is socialist and borderline communist. My dad has worked for 25+ years (I’m 15), and my mom has worked her butt off for over 3 years to earn her provisional teaching license to send me to a private school because the public schools in the city I live in are absolutely horrible. We don’t have any country club memberships, we don’t play golf during the weekend, we don’t have a pool in our backyard, and we don’t own Cadillacs. We have a truck and a car, a 2-level house, and we can barely afford my education. And I’ll be damned if our hard-earned money will go to a poor lazy slob in the slums of a city to give him health insurance and a house and not to my education.

Wow!
The level of intelligent discourse has really receded here in the last 24 hours.

Next thing you know, the Demo-shriekers will be scratching their arses looking for fecal matter to throw at their adversaries. After all, it’s their last hope and only resort.

Of course Obama is a racist, albeit a closet one. He admits Rev. Wright was his and his family’s best buddy. 20 looooong years he sat in the pew and said “Amen” to that hate filled crap. He only put distance between the racist church and himself when the video tapes appeared. Now, that’s a real politician!

I’m curious as to what Jane does for a living? I wonder if she has ever helped a neighbor? Handed out food to the hungry, have you? Food you paid for your self? What great service has she performed to keep America freed?

Is Two Million dollars “middle class”? No. However, it’s not “rich” anymore. Usually, people in the $2 million bracket are paying all Jane’s taxes and paying to keep the country running. Ever go to the library? Who paid for the books and building? Do you know?

Most of the people I know making that much money work 12 to 14 hour days. Heck, they employ people like Jane. I only know of a few people who became rich simply because their daddy left them a big inheritance. Indeed, Ted Kennedy, and the whole Kennedy clan, are the first ones that come to mind. And, all of that money was made on gun and rum running, by a father who thought Hitler was really an OK guy.

I just finshed a long discussion with my friend who is pro Obama and I am pro Palin. She refuses to belive that Obama has less experience than Palin. She also belives that even though Obama went to Rev. Wrights chruch for twenty years and he was his spirtual mentor, that he doesn’t hold some if not all of the beliefs of his mentor….maybe I need a new friend…

What is wrong with you people? Seriously.

Wow!
When did McCain become such a sleaze ball? Why did he vote against veterans rights? Why does he want rich guys like Sheldon to live high on the hog while the poor are struggling and suffering; progressive taxes are the Christian thing to do. I wonder why a camel like Sheldon wants to try to fit through the eye of a needle? I think I know who won’t be going to heaven… McCain and Sheldon…

Information, such as this, that is so biased towards one party are completely ridiculous and useless.

Funny that you forgot to post education:

Palin: Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska, where she was the point guard and captain of the school’s girls’ basketball team. She attended Hawaii Pacific College (she won a scholarship in a beauty pageant), transferring in 1983 to North Idaho College and then to the University of Idaho. She attended Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska for one term, returning to the University of Idaho to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism.

Obama: Following high school, Obama studied at Occidental College for two years and then transferred to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations. Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988 and at the end of his first year was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review based on his grades and a writing competition. In his second year he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the law review’s staff of 80 editors. He graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991 and returned to Chicago where he had worked as a summer associate at the law firm of Sidley & Austin (NOT A “CIVIL RIGHTS” LAW FIRM!) in 1989. He also taught law at University of Chicago.

Hmm…

to “real deal” (and others)

It doesn’t seem like you’re very worried. And you shouldn’t be: you and the rest of the country will get the president they deserve.

For the person who wanted to know what I do—I am a counselor at a state prison who volunteers at a shelter, and helps my sister who is a single mom raise her kids….does this help you judge me better? P.S. YOu should know that a black person in America can be prejudiced, but not racist……it is a position of power, get out of your self and realize and appreciate everyone else in the world besides yourself.

Wikipedia says: “Racism, by its simplest definition, is the belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. People with racist beliefs might hate certain groups of people according to their racial groups. In the case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or get preferential treatment.”

Erego, ANYBODY can be racist. (Unless you’re completely brainwashed from listening to too many racist black orators using the term to only define the group THEY hate.) BTW, given the above definition, what would you call those who demand “Affirmative Action” laws that discriminate against other races?

Knowing that someone is employed in meaningful endeavors is important when assessing their arguments. An unemployed welfare recipient probably wouldn’t be seen as creditable in a tax reformation debate. Demanding more benefits while never having paid any taxes or ever having attempted to better their situation in life, would be a major impediment to being taken seriously.

Oh, and thanks for making me “Rich”! Sure, at age 62 I could sit back and collect a fat Social Security check, (ha,ha) but I’ve stared another new business with two partners, and we have recently hired 3 people and are desperately searching for more. The people that come with us are going to be monetarily “rich” one day…. but they will work long days and nights and not take vacation this year. (Yes, we worked on the 4th of July while everyone else enjoyed the holiday) Most applicants won’t do that.

Will I go to heaven? With John McCain? Well, I think he has paid his dues and will get in with a warm welcome.

For myself, I attend church, speak the readings at Mass, publish a magazine for young Catholic writers, donate an interesting amount of time to church fund raising and other services. Fixed roofs, carpet and repaired an alarming number of items for those that can’t. (I’ve even sent anonomous cash to people in need.) My mother-in-law has Alzheimer’s disease, and treating that takes up almost all of my wife’s time. And my beautiful mom died just three weeks ago. (she would have LOVED Sara!)

All the above are my real “riches”…. none of them guarantee me a ride through the key hole, but I’m trying.

Are you?

Oh, and about the Law Firm Obama worked for as an associate…. the EEOC is suing them for discrimination. They hate old people. Go figure.

Who paid Obama’s education expenses….. and gave him the “walking around” money? And why?

Just askin’.

Again.

This was certainly accurate and balanced. Whoops, you forgot to mention how Palin’s administration lobbied congress to get the 223 million dollar earmark for the “bridge to nowhere”. Palin publicly supported the project until she was selected as Mccain’s vp, but then it became politically advantageous to be against the project so she disenfranchised her supporters and lied about it. Oh, you also forgot to mention how she claims to be a fiscal conservative. Sure she lowered taxes, but fails to mention how she tripled the budget of her town of only 6,500 at the time, taking it from a small surplus to 20 million in debt. Well, at least she fixed it by creating dozens of earmarks for her hometown to dig it out of debt.

Gotta love this totally biased an partisan analysis. What a joke.

JEEZE! I almost forgot, but isn’t Obama an immensely wealthy person? Will HE be able to slip through the key hole? Or does he get a free pass? (perhaps heavenly Affirmative Action?)
BTW, how does an unemployed student, a law firm associate for one year, a State Representative, and finally a Senator get that rich? He’s never made a widget to sell, nor built any buildings (except for the million dollar house of his, heck, he never did anything to produce income as far as I can tell. Where did all his money come from?

And why?

Hello i am a 100% disabled viet nam combat veteran,Sen John McCain was a prisoner of war and people act like that is nothing. Tell me what mr Obama has done? People wake up who put Mr Obama in this race, The same people that are killing our men & women. He is a evil i was going to say man but he is not a man he is a leech if he is elected he will take all the freedom that we have died & fought for and spit on it. He wants to give power to the people that are not citizens and give them everything for free. And this is the thing that makes me sick, he wants to take all of our guns
so we can not protect ourselves. What do you think the animals will do when we can’t protect ourselves they will eat us alive, ask any police officer. Stand up people don’t be sheep be americans fight fight fight back and VOTE!!!

I worry that because of his lack of experience in leading instead of being led, many mistakes will happen to the USA. I find (from my listening to television) he is a good speaker (with a teleprompter) but lost when off the cuff. No to OBama….at least at the present time.

Awesome comparison, but you left out Holy Spirit tongues vs new age channeling. Palin went to a church that believed in Holy Spirit tongues but never did so, at least in public. Obama is supported by most new age channelers or pro new age occult channelers. New age medium Carolyn Evers channels support for Obama. One of her channeling spirits is Kuthumi or Koot-Hoomi, the same spirit that theosophist H. P. Blavatsky channeled in the 1800’s. She and her spirit guides were the foundation ofthe Nazi third reich movement. Oprah will not interview Palin but she interviews channeler Esther Hicks and her channeling spirits named Abraham who entered into her after using a ouja board. Racist nation of Islam radical Louis Farrakhan, connected to Obama’s 20 year church, has communicated with UFO alien like spirits who inspired him to start the million man march. Pro Obama Dennis Kucinich is a pro occult channeler. Found on an internet blog, a dead human spirit inside another channeler supports Obama. Deut 18 in the Bible strictly forbids this activity. Even Obama’s teleprompter speeches seem like channeling.

Please for the sake of the country, go to http://www.factcheck.org and http://www.ontheissues.org. Please check the unbiased facts about both candidates.

You call yourselves Christians??? I don’t think GOD would. We won’t be seeing you in heaven!!! I’m sure you all watch Fox News. Let’s talk about McJoke cheating on his first wife and leaving her for a younger, richer Cindy. It can happen to you too. Cindy knowingly dating a married/family man??? Palin is just a hockey mom w/lipstick. Not a vice-president. What a mom?! Or is she. Maybe it’s the first dude raising the family.

Many Democrats are so desperate for change that they would vote a snake into office. Remember, MANY Republicans are ready for change too….but Obama is not change………..he is dangerious. This country cannot take “dangerious” right now and survive. I want a country to leave to my Grandchildren and those of you who are voting Obama need to know something about this man BESIDES he is a Democrat who claims “change”. DO CHECK YOUR FACTS, BUT be careful what you ask for…………………

What a lot of crap this page is, you might as well be the information minister in Iraq for how ‘truthfull’ and ‘accurate’ this page is. You’d vote for Palin NO MATTER WHAT her qualifications and against Obama no matter what his were, just because they are a Republican and Democrat.

Gee,
Democrats do everything to get God out of every Christian’s life….. and now they are deciding who will go to Heaven, too? Just priceless to see haw frightened they are. I mean, wasn’t partitioning out the rights to enter Heaven a Dark Ages kinda’ thing? (Well, maybe they are right. If Obama is elected that’s where we are headed: The Dark Ages of a government dictatorship.)

Now that the NY Times is reporting on where Obama gets his money (mostly hidden bank account transfers from Saudi Arabia), do the kool-aid drinkers STILL think he is the best choice their Party could find?

If this were unbiased, much more neutral terminology would’ve been used between the two. Instead, Palin’s actions are praised while criticism directed at Obama is flippant and simply refers to him “talking about” issues a lot when he does in fact have laid out plans for them.

I understand everything has been slanted, but this can’t be considered “objective” when it’s clearly a poke at Obama and an endorsement of Palin.

I’m with April. Check the facts at non-partisan sites like FactCheck.org. Yes, you’ve included some facts, but you’re omitting others in order to raise Palin and smear Obama.

I do like to take responsibility for my mistakes in life, and here I will, too.
I was suckered into the “Dowd Report”, ostensibly written in the NY Times showing Obama’s money coming from a Saudi connection. It didn’t. I apologize to anyone I might have misled with my assertion based on the false “news reporting” story.

That being said, who DID provide the money for his education?

Even more interestingly, who gave him the “walking around” money during his years at school?

And why?

Hello everyone, I have voted republican for many years and switched to unaffiliated, due to the weakness of our republican runners the last 4 runs. Now as I see this race go on and I listen to both sides, I am very pleased with the Presidential Runners and Vice president Biden runner. I am very disappointed with everyone else out there wanting to be heard with their unprofessional, slandering, name calling, hurtful, hateful, deceiving, bitter, angry, disrespectful, lies and actions the American people are willing to stoop to win this race. I am embarrassed you all make America look weak. Grow up and be accountable, professional, positive, motivational leaders or SHUT – UP.
I know now the strongest party is Barak Obama and Biden they have my vote along with millions of other professional voters.

And Sheldon, please keep posting more of your own personal laments against Affirmative Action and how it’s affected your life and disguising them as biographical facts on Obama’s life. I find you thoroughly entertaining. Scary–that people like you exist. Scarier–because people like you have a vote. But please, keep posting. It’s almost like this is therapy for you. :) Haha.

Excellent article - thanks for posting this - I was looking for it. I have posted it on our PRO-Sarah blog - check it out at: http://gosarahgo-vp.blogspot.com
Thanks!

Wow! You’ve deleted my post for the second time! That is fantastic! If you’re so confident in your argument, I wonder why you are so compelled to delete a counterpoint that’s actually based in fact?

I’ll have to re-post when I have the time, and I will do so later this evening.

Its pretty bad that the republican vice president nominee has more accomplishments then the democrat PRESIDENT nominee …….why would people vote for someone who cant even make “change” for Illnois but their voting for him because they think he will make “change” for America.

I am a two tour Vietnam Veteran, I flew armed scout helicopters. I had daily face to face life and death shootouts. Luckily I survived. Obama, scares me more, it reminds me of the rise of Adolf Hitler, another glib and powerful speaker, but wicked individual who ultimately brought about the death of about 64 million human beings. What is more frightening is our liberalized education system and liberal media who have produced a near majority of dumbed down citizens. God help us!

You said that Alaska borders Russia.

“Governor of state that borders two foreign countries (Canada and Russia)”

Where is the border of Alaska and Russia? Way to present the facts. Is there anything else that may be made up?
Also, since when was Canada such a difficult country to reason with??
Keep in mind that not all Muslims are terrorists.

Should athletic prowess really count as a point to be President??

What is a vice president candidate being compared to a Presidential candidate?

Aaron, I think the biggest reason Sara’s enjoining so much interest is because she will be the 2012 Presidential candidate. McCain is just here for the first term to kick off the revolution, and then he’s out. She will have to pick up the colors and lead the next charge.

Ahhhhh…. the kid who calls himself “Censorship Rules” is a bit miffed because his posts were deleted. I guess he just knows his opinions are the only one’s we should be able to read. That’s an Obama Democrat for you. Every body shut up or else! (Or else … what, I wonder?)

He also criticized me for ANY comments about Affirmative Action. Well, he’s right. I would never, ever employ anyone as an Affirmative Action hire. I wouldn’t insult someone by telling them they were just for window dressing. I can only use qualified candidates. But, I did a bit of inventory, based on observation and first-hand knowledge, and you know what I discovered? To date, everyone would fall into an AA category….. even me.

How many Affirmative Action employees has “Censorship Rules” hired? How many are on his payroll only to make the corporation “LOOK” like a diversity chart in his annual report? I wonder if he’s even aware of what AA is?

It’s so easy to throw rocks at passing cars, but so much harder to build the car. That’s what the currant Demo Party is doing. THEY have had control of the House and Senate, they had a big hand in today’s financial turmoil, but they just throw rocks at the other guy. Even Der Fuhrer, Obama, has said he won’t reveal his economic plan for fear it would drive the markets into a real depression. It’s probably the most honest thing he’s said in the whole campaign.

Finally, if Obama is elected, and his tax plans are enacted, who will help me decide who I’m going to have to fire so I have enough money to pay the new taxes?

That new tax money will have to come from somewhere, and I’m not a trust-fund baby like Ted Kennedy. I guess I’d be safe firing the one with the most intolerant attitude…. Censorship Rules.

iam not an american but after reading the comparison between mr.obama and mrs.sarah palin i would be proud of her being supreme in my country ! { if everything posted here is correct } i think shes a strong lady 1

Too bad the DownStream (full of Sludge & Sewage) Media will not print this. I refuse to call them MainStream Media.

The above chart is one-sided, biased and totally incomplete. An excellent website to get information about any candidate that is running for election or may be in office is

This is the biggest joke. I can’t believe people that believe in Sarah Palin think that being Governor of Alaska automatically gives you foreign relations experience. Come on. Chuck Hagel is right. That concept IS an insult to the American public.

SHE SOUNDS LIKE ONE HECK OF A WOMEN—JOHN DID GOOD PICKING HER—I AM DEM.—BUT I HATE TO HAVE A MOSLIN AS PRES.SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME–GOD HELP US ALL.

As indicated by your article; and in my opinion, Palin; although running for vice pres.; clearly has better credentials than presidential candidate Obama.
McCain may have won the presidency by choosing Palin as his running mate.
It seems that; been there and done that and can and will do it again should prevail over– having talked about doing it but haven’t done it yet. BS

Why are we comparing Sarah Palins credentials against Barack Obama’s? Shouldn’t she be compared to Joseph Biden the Democratic VP Nominee? Also, Why is there nothing about there Education since you done a side by side comparison? Didn’t Barack Obama graduate from Harvard Law School and serve as a Professor for 8 years? Didn’t Sarah Palin attend 2 different community colleges and take 6 years to obtain a 4-year undergraduate degree in Communications? Let’s not dumb down the most powerful position in the free world because of our deep down racist beliefs.

If you wanted to share what I criticized you for, why do you keep deleting my posts? Oh Sheldon, how delusional. It’s not that I want my facts to be the only one’s that are read, I just thought you’d appreciate the counterpoints to your skewed chart above. You’ve contradicted your points in your rebuttal (which indicates that you did delete what I wrote). Fantastic!

Disappointing…I stumbled upon this site looking for a decent list of Palin’s accomplishments and find nothing but another skewed list which focuses as much on disinformation as factual information.

But then that is what elections have descended into, parties one upping each other with attempts to portray negatives. Talk about Audacity of Deception. And hypocrisy? Yes, indeed.

Well, well, well…. “Censorship Rules”, you’ve got me spot on! Yes, sir you’ve clearly seen through my devious plan to remove your right to present your demands and speak your mind. You’ve cought me in inconsistencies, shown me to be the fool you know I am!

Only thing is, I didn’t create the chart, nor delete your rebuttals. I have nothing to do with this page other than be a simple poster of my opinions.

I can only suppose the admin folks who run this site deleted your posts because they were as delusional as your believing I had created this forum and done you harm. You appear to be the typical Obaminational kool-aid drinker, swinging out at everyone who disagrees with you without getting any facts correct. Please learn to observe and think things through before throwing the Molotov Cocktail at shadows on the wall.

Do you wear a Brown Shirt in your off hours?

I can never understand why anybody would even consider voting for Obama. Palin is even more qualified than he is to run for President. Obama is the least qualified person ever to be nominated for President. In reality because of his close ties to known terrorists he should never even be allowed to get the security clearence that comes with the Presidency. Hopefully the people will wake up and not put the security of this country in the hands of a virtual unknown with close ties to terrorists, communists, racists, and people who hate this country like him and his wife.

Please Sheldon, suppose away. I’m sure you are a casual poster, and I’m happy you’ve found a release for all the years of oppression you faced (maybe they were onto something with that whole mental recession thing?)

I’ve definitely come around. I look forward to more interviews with Sarah Palin. Her eloquence on the issues is refreshing. I find her knowledge of her own running mates positions inspiring. When Katie Couric makes you stumble during an interview, well, you’re definitely ready to face the people of this country and the world.

Long live Sarah Palin!

And as for “kid”, I voted for Reagan, Bush, Clinton twice, Bush and Kerry. Sounds like you’ve got me nailed, Sheldon. It sounds like you’ve got me nailed.

* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.
* Attend five different small colleges before graduating, you’re well grounded.

* If you spend three years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as
a Constitutional Law professor, spend eight years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate’s Health and Human Services committee, spend four years in the
United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran’s Affairs committees, you don’t have any real leadership experience.
* If your total resume is: local weather girl, four years on the city council and six years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you’re qualified to become the country’s second highest ranking executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising two beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you’re not a real Christian.
* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you’re a Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.
* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state’s school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you’re very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family’s values don’t represent America’s.
* If your husband is nicknamed “First Dude”, with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn’t register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

wonderful i luvd readng the truth

With apologies to Frank Sinatra and Pearl Baily:

Well, I’ve had other teachers.
(Well I got my diploma, I was real real smart.)
In a pretty frame, huh?
(Of my knowledge there was no doubt.)
That’s pretty obvious.
(Yeah but lately I’ve had the same, like in your words too,)
(It wasn’t even a thought, let me tell you what I found out now.)
Look at the size of my ears, pour it on.
(You know it started with a man.)
Uh huh!
(And the man he was grand.)
Ain’t that the truth.
(He had a lie that would make a bird sing.)
This kid really came on, I can see that,
‘Cause you were much too smart to be afraid at the start.
(Frank, a little learnin’ is a dangerous thing.)
Well, I’d like to hear some more.
(First he only wanted two.)
To?
(Then he changed it to few.)
Oh, you mean loot.
(I even loaned that man my watch and my ring.)
Oh, you lost your head, Pearl, completely,
‘Cause you were hip to the fact that he would pay you right back.
(Yep, a little learning is a dangerous thing.)

Who paid for the Obama’s education?

How did he become so wealthy on a peasant’s salary?

Did he ever do ANYTHING that didn’t pay him back some way?

What did Obama EVER do for his country?

(Sorry, I can’t resist this: Sara’s hubbie had a DUI? Yes… and that was VERY bad. He could have hurt someone in that condition. When Obama did “blow” (cocaine) did he drive? Or was he “safe” about his drug abuse? … and that is what you like about Obama? He didn’t get caught?)

No, I’ll take my president with a bit more interest in America than someone who snorted drugs and got away with it.

For all the words to the recording go to:

My, it’s always so disturbing to find how easily people ‘fall in line’ when looking at such an impressive and, HIGHLY SLANTED chart. Lead the people in the direction the party wants, and they feel enlightened. Just as if they don’t have to pay any attention to anything further. Shouldn’t such a list be drawn up by a ‘de-facto’ THIRD party? But no, that would be much to ‘fair’ a way to feed Republicans too much information that might ‘cloud their thinking’ to the point of actually deciding for themselves. This way, everyone can pat each other on the pack, go home and wait untilt the bomb drops on all thes
