Obama Without Teleprompter: Obama Introduced Joe Biden as the next president of the United States
(CNN) – Barack Obama accidentally introduced his running mate Joe Biden as the next president of the United States Saturday, a slip-of-the-tongue the McCain campaign is calling “Freudian.”
“Barack Obama sounded as though he turned over the top spot on the ticket today to his new mentor, when he introduced Joe Biden as the next president,” McCain campaign spokesman Ben Porritt said. “The reality is that nothing has changed since Joe Biden first made his assessment that Barack Obama is not ready to lead. Anyway, in the current chemestry of the presidential race the Dem VP choice doesn’t matter, so cutting/ pasting Joe Bidden on ticket won’t change a iota. Everything is about Barry Soetoro and he has lost traction, and this for good reason.
Barry Soetoro’s became a liability - Slate is already braying the exit story title: “Racism is the Only Reason McCain Might Win (Jacob Weisberg, Slate).
Sorry, Jacob - Rationality and good ol’ common sense made Soetoro unelectable.
