Obama In His Own Words: “Tax the heck out of people at the end and just redistribute it”
Buried in that 8,000 (!) word NYT magazine article about Obama’s economic plan that I mentioned yesterday, is this bit flagged by Geraghty at Campaign Spot:
“If you talk to Warren [Buffet], he’ll tell you his preference is not to meddle in the economy at all — let the market work, however way it’s going to work, and then just tax the heck out of people at the end and just redistribute it,” Obama said. “That way you’re not impeding efficiency, and you’re achieving equity on the back end.” He continued by saying that he thought there was some merit in Buffett’s argument.
To which, Geraghty responds: “Isn’t it reassuring to have a presidential candidate saying he sees some merit in ‘taxing the heck’ out of something?” Indeed.

Communist one and all. I will never understand why some Americans are so willing to give away the Constitution to the likes of Obama. My 7 year old granddaughter is as qualified to be president right now as is Obama. The Clinton endorcement revealed that enough money had changed hands to pacify the Clintons. Unlike Rev. Wright, I say God help America if Obama is elected.
Holy crap people, you talk about Obama not being qualified as if you could do SO much better, as if you or someone you know has more experience, and yet you (like myself, I know >.<) can’t even spell or use proper grammar in your arguments.
… That was meant to be sarcastic, not insulting. (If you were insulted, GROW UP. This is the real world. Slackers and biased and gullible people are rarely tolerated.)
First of all, dudes, the title of this article is totally, I apologize, retarded. It wasn’t something Obama said, it was something someone else said that he was quoting. In fact, it could be considered a downright lie (something many politicians seem to be known for these days…) because it was not actually in Obama’s Own Words, it was in Buffet’s Own Words. Jesus Christ.
Next, he said “he thought there was some merit in Buffett’s argument.” Of course in most extremist and biased minds, this will translate to: “he completely agreed with Buffett’s statement and therefore announced that that would be his own taxing policy when he became president.”
Think, people. Please don’t do what most stupid Democratic and Republican citizens do, which is take any sort of evidence, no matter how absurd or nonsensical it may be, and turn it into something so much worse than it actually is. Dear God. (Please help these silly people. Amen.)

Do you even know that Obama isn’t even qualified, well if he is, he will not show a ‘vault copy of his birth certificate’ and why is that? He isn’t even a natural born citizen is what is alleged? So does the Constitution not even count in the US?

I’ve been a “hard-shell” registered southern democrat all my voting life. I have always voted for the party because it was the way I was brought up. When it came time to vote in the primary, it was a no-brainer… I voted Obama. I had listened to the ranting of so called right wing “Obama haters”, but I didn’t let it influence my vote. How could anyone who “moved my very soul” when he spoke, be a bad choice? I was an Obamaniac!
When I saw reports of Rev. Wright’s sermon ranting “God Damn America!”- I was sure there had to be more to the story. Surely my candidate wouldn’t be involved in such an alliance. Obama confirmed this with his denial of ever hearing such words.
Then there was the Tony Rezko fiasco. My thoughts were, those right wing lunatics will stop at nothing to try and link my guy with any trash they can find. Sure enough, Barrack denied any association and I ignored what I heard.
Now, back in the early ’70s, I had heard of the Weather Underground, a group of radical hippies accused of bombing public buildings. At the time we didn’t call people like that terrorist, they were regarded as hippie scum very much like Charles Manson. One morning I read of accusations that Obama was somehow associated with the leader, Bill Ayers. Well, sure enough, Obama just smiled to the cameras on the evening news and said it was ludicrous that anyone would associate him with some old terrorist from another generation. Whew! I was glad to hear him nip those lies in the bud right away. As the campaign moved forward, my yard filled with Obama-Biden yard art and my car was so covered with stickers that local law enforcement stopped me and told me I had to take them off the windshield because they could be a driving hazard. I had Obama, “savior of the free world” syndrome, really bad.
Well before you know it, I see where someone has come forward and accused him again, this time as being associated with a group of modern day carpetbaggers known as ACORN. When would it end? Didn’t people know that he would not be a part of that group? If anything, he would be trying to expose them. Sure enough, at his next stop, Obama assured the world he was again being falsely accused.
Enough! I will do my own research and I will prove to anyone I talked to he is innocent, decent and the man to vote for!
That was a month ago… Many hours of research later, just let me just say… Obama lied. He lied to all of us. I am disappointed and I am angry that he isn’t who he is acting to be. The full story goes all the way back to his mother and her radical alliances. Recently, I read the 1959 version of Manchurian Candidate and felt sick. We have all been manipulated by radical media and entertainment industries to move us toward authoritative Socialism. Freedom loving Americans must not allow this to happen.
Just remember, “water seeks it’s own level” and to find out who BHO really is just look at who he has aligned himself with over the past 25 years.
If Barrack Hussein Obama becomes president and his socialist movement ushered into power, it will signal the beginning of the end of democracy in our country. Isn’t that why we fight wars, to protect democracy and freedom from becoming trampled and destroyed? Our government has fought two major conflicts against communism with thousands of lives heroically lost and many more living with the scars. Why are more Americans not fighting now? Today is as important as any other time to stand together against socialist aggression in our country! Fight! Fight for our rights to say no to government sponsorship of abortion! Fight for our right of free speech and religion! Fight for our next generation, just as our forefathers fought for us! Say no to Obama and all who want to “change” our rights to be free!
