What about Oprah Winfrey? Surely he has a patronage position for her. Press Secretary?

Ladies and Gents,
Any one believing the obvious photo/video fraud and about a Catholic School ansking about someone’s nationality, probably is still looking at alien autopsies.
You can not be seriously comparring Obama’s fortune with that of “Cant remeber how many house we own” McCain. By the way it is 8, the same number Ken Lay owned when he ran Enron into the ground, with the help od McCain’s good friend and financial advisor.
In 2007 only a third of business paid any taxes. This is because of the tax code is such that they wrote off most of their income by overcharging their US subsidiaries, shifting most or all profits to their overseas operations. Not only dose this hurt us by shifting the cost of billions of dollars to the middle class. This also hurts our economy and standing in the world economy by lowering our GNP. Thus we have the irony of having the highest corporate tax rate of industrialized countries, while at the same time collecting the least amount of revenue from our companies.
The tax code is similarly skewed for this making over $250,000. When looking a JUST the proposals from the candidates, and tuning out the hype and political garbage, Obama’s plan is definitely better everyone who makes less than $250000/yr.
More importantly, McCain still is using his good friend Phil Gramm as an economic advisor. This is the same man who engineered and bullied through congress the bills that eliminated or seriously reduced regulatory oversight in the banking, lending and financial institutions. This is credited with making the ENRON fiasco, prime mortgage crisis, and banking crisis possible. (See “Enron Loophole” or Commodity Futures Modernization Act 2000) This bill was drafted with the help of Enron Lobbyists while Gramm’s wife was on Enron’s board of directors.
Neither men see any conflict there, or feel the repercussions of these acts have hurt the economy. (re: “mental recession”) In case you think this was an uncharacteristic slip remember this quote. “Most people don’t have the luxury of living to be 80 years old, so it’s hard for me to feel sorry for them.” (response to a statement that a Social Security proposal would hurt people over 80)
Why is this important, because McCain has made it evident that this is his pick for Secretary of Finance.
