Many years ago, a pastor in my former church preached that
Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Toaism, Hinduism were many of the ways leading to the same God as there were many roads leading to Rome [similar to Obama’s version of “I believe that there are many paths to the same place”]

Immediately after the service, a group of Bible believers in including myself confronted the pastor that he was preaching a false doctrine of the Christian faith, not based on John 14:6 but he refused to accept Jesus was the only way to God the Father. As a result, we left the church and joined another more Bible based church.

Obama simply has not the slightest idea about God’s plan of salvation for mankind. How can he claim that Jesus is not the only way under heaven whereby we can be saved? He said good works and good deeds and good moral character would get you to heaven just like his late mother who was not a Christian is now in heaven because she was a kind hearted person, lived a moral life and did a lot of good works and deeds.

Goodness me! He’s been sitting in the pew of that so called Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago for the last 20 odd years, being fed by that crazy pastor, Jeremiah Wright’s hate-filled sermons such as “God damn America” and he also claimed that Muslims and Jews are equally saved without accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. How can America have a president like that?

In order to mark and avoid those professing Christian teachers and leaders who are promoting doctrinal heresy (thus causing divisions among Christian believers), it is obvious that we must exercise sound Biblical discernment and judgment. This judgment must be based on “the doctrine which ye have learned” from God’s word. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to His word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20).

8:67 commands Muslims to make a great slaughter as a prerequsite to holding prisoners of war for profit.

What you stated above is that the Constitution also sets out the secularistion of the USA (”no connection between Church and State”).

Although under the constitution, a religious qualification is not required of a person running for any public office, Obama has so many questionable assoociations including his religious belief that people are not comfortable with and they will judge him to see if he is suitable and ready to be a good president based on these criteria

I have close friends who are Christian, Jewish, Hindi, and Muslim. One of my uncles is Buddhist. I have attended churches, a mosque, and various temples. I can see the beauty in all faiths. I try to see the beauty in all people. I see the beauty in a God who loves His children. Believing in that God makes us stronger. It gives us the courage and the conviction to do what is right and grow as individuals and as a world. Believing in a God who would torture people for eternity because they didn’t embrace a certain strict paradigm can only drive us all further apart. God is Love. Obama understands that. the issue of God sending babies to hell is a distraction on the issues at hand. And no, God does not send babies to hell. How can He, if they don’t consciously know what sin is?

Secondly, Jesus said in John 3:16-18 that he who does not believe in Jesus Christ (accept as Saviour) that that person stands condemned by God for not doing so.

Based upon that, it would seem that all people will have an opportunity to do accept or reject Jesus as Saviour.

In the end, if Obama wants to be a Christian then he needs to follow the Bible - as it says in John 3:16-18 and in other places, like when Peter the Apostle - in the book of Acts - told the crowd listening to him that “there was no other name under heaven (besides Jesus) whereby we can be saved.”

When Obama says he is a Christian, it seems he means he is not a Muslim. That is like in Lebanon, everyone who is not

The word “Christian”, probably would have never been in Obama’s mouth, except for the fact that people were wanting to know if Obama was a Muslim. The “religious test” comment is just a red herring. No one is demanding that Obama BE a Christian in order to be eligible for office. You see the Word say’s in 2Cor 4:3-4,”Satan will blind the mind of those who don’t believe”. We are also to shun evil Counsel, Proverbs 1:8-9. John 13:35, This tells us how we know that we are deciples of Jesus. I have agreed that what moses taught and jesus taught about the person of gods nature is good enougth for me as a torah and gospels based believer of 9 years i also believe a christian can only find certainty in those books alone.the other books dont seem to have the authenticity of god running thru them but the tradidions of men.
in the last six years my dads total health care and support not to mention the calls to goverment departments to get aids for my dads mobility,were all provided by our much trusted family doctor he treated dad with love respect and humility right up to dads passing.

The difference between Christianity is based entirely upon the Person of Christ. Is He God Incarnate or is He a liar? Did He mean it when He said, “Except a man be born again He cannot or enter the Kingdom of God.” Did Jesus mean that or was He lying? Bible believing Christians have no doubts. Mr Obama does. Jesus made it quite plain that we must love our enemies. No Christian can justify indiscriminate violence against innocent muslims to take revenge on some muslims who have burned Bibles, namely, the New Testament and the American flag. Furthermore the Imam “threatened” the same threat of violence if he was not allowed to establish his mosque. What at ground zero. What will be the next demand? He seems adept at doing this. CNN have a desire to to make people honest. Please go into the actual situation of Islam outside of America. Start with our Americas friends. Without who help they would no be in bondage to radical Islam. However, as far as the church is concerned they won’t let Christians build one their. The only way Christians can practicde theri faith is behind closed doors. If that is what the freinds of America do, what is happening in the Muslim dominated countries round the world. How many Mosques are their in Amirica? Will the Imam be ready to appeal to those “peace loving” Muslim dominated countries to allow Christians to build churches? That’s my say.

Religion’s rules and grounds have millions of times in history. So what? God’s had doubts abouto his plan and now he’s gotten to the perfect plan?

Moreover, that would mean that he made mistakes and that his philosophy has evolved at the same time as ours. WTF?
For example, ALL Jesus-related religions believed that homosexuality was a sin. Now many don’t. What? God changed his mind and now everybody can be with anyone (which I really think is the right thing)? mmmmmmm Maybe that was us.
