Hillary Has Dirt on Obama?
Though the chances of Hillary Clinton winning the Democratic presidential nomination are remote, one must give her credit for perseverance. On Tuesday she cleaned Obama’s clock in West Virginia, beating Obama by 41 percentage points. Apparently, the gun-toting blue-collar Democrats of the mountaineer state, otherwise known as “hicks” in liberal circles, are not bewitched by Obama’s charisma and smooth tongue. In fact, they just plain do not like him.
The latest news is that conservative syndicated columnist Robert Novak has contacts within the Clinton camp who claim that Hillary has some dirt on Obama that she is holding back for the appropriate time. Who knows if there is anything to this? I believe the same rumor was spread in November, 2007. If she, in fact, does have something juicy on Obama, she is certainly running out of time to make use of it.
But, let’s just assume for a moment that there is some truth to this gossip spread to Novak. What on earth could see have on Obama? Let’s examine some of his controversial associations that could harm his chances at winning the presidency.
Conservative Website “littlegreenfootballs” has a column entitled “The Skeletons of Obama.” They include:
* “Rabidly anti-Israel Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi. The Obamas were regular dinner guests at Khalidi’s Hyde Park home for years.
* Terrorist sympathizer Ali Abunimah, who runs the viciously anti-Israel web site Electronic Intifada.
* Unrepentant Weather Underground terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.
* Reverend Jeremiah Wright. What more needs to be said?
* Anti-Israel foreign policy adviser Samantha Power — fired after calling Hillary Clinton a “monster.”
* Anti-Israel foreign policy adviser Robert Malley — fired when it was revealed he has been holding talks with Hamas.
* Hatem El-Hady, former official of the Hamas-linked charity Kindhearts, closed by the Justice Department. El-Hady’s web page suddenly vanished from the Obama campaign site with no explanation, after being exposed by LGF and others.
* Tony Rezko — a Chicago fixer currently in a whole lot of legal trouble.
There are more, I know; this is just off the top of my head.
I have never witnessed a presidential election in which a major candidate had this many skeletons in his closet.”
Of course, many of these associations have already been made public. However, I will add a few more skeletons to the littlegreenfootballs article:
* Tony Rezko is a Syrian; the media somehow forgot to mention that small detail.
* Frank Marshall Davis, a childhood friend and mentor of Obama, mentioned in Obama’s first book “Dreams of My Father” was a communist. Love those Marxists, don’t you, Barack?
* Edward Said, an anti-Israeli Columbia University professor of Arab studies, known as “the professor of terror,” attended Arab fundraisers with the Obamas.
*Trinity U.C.C. printed the Hamas Manifesto in their July, 2007, Trumpet newsletter.
This disturbing list of skeletons in Obama’s closet is rather lengthy. The average American knows little about his questionable associations. And Obama has the audacity to claim he supports Israel. Hillary certainly has much ammunition she could work with to bring Obama down. Maybe she should play “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe” when choosing what dirt to release first.
