THE TRUTH ABOUT BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY AND TRINITY CHURCH

“Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.”

By Michael Meyers
March 20, 2008

“He should have presented us a pathway out of our racial boxes and a road map for new thinking about race. He should have depicted his minister, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., as a symbol of the dysfunctional angry men who are stuck in the past and who must yield to a new generation of color-blind, hopeful Americans and to a new global economy in which we will look on our neighbors’ skin color no differently than how we look on their eye color.”

Barack Obama chose a spiritual adviser/mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who taught ‘Black Liberation Theology.’ He listened to ‘Black Liberation Theology’ for 20 years and gave significant amounts of money to support the preaching of ‘Black Liberation Theology.’ Most voters have no idea what ‘Black Liberaton Theology’ teaches. Voters should be concrned about the ‘Message’ (’Black Liberation Theology’) and not the ‘Messenger’ (Jeremiah Wright). Voters should scrutinize the personal choices (e.g.,’Black Liberation Theology’) of a candidate which can influence his perception of the world and events taking place in the world. “Afrocentrism Is the Problem” by Linda Chavez in ‘National Review Online.’ at:

Thank you for the information on this web site. When voters learn that Barack Obama’s actions contradict his rhetoric, his support will plummet.
